Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

The rate above is based on a monthly rate for 5 months.($2,523.40) We were there from Nov 1, 2017 thru March of 2018. This park used to be a really good park for value and what was offered. But for the upcoming season they have raised the rates really high 5 months will now be $3,700.00 plus tax and electric. The monthly rate is going to be close to a $1,000.00 if they accept the short term stay. They didn't start accepting the short term stay ie weekly or one month until after Jan 1. The site was big enough for the 5th wheel to park on the gravel portion. Then you park your tow vehicle on a concrete pad. Last season was really bad as far as cable tv and internet at the sites because of the company they hired to do the work was not great. They now are working with another company and hopefully it will get better. They do say free internet at each site but you must have or purchase a modem. In the last 2 yrs there have been 30 to 40 park models sold and pulled out of the park and no new ones are coming in. The owner seems to be really money greedy. The people that stay in the park are really nice and friendly We also noticed that some areas of the roads need to start having work done on them. We will not be returning for the 2018 to 2019 season. We camped at Silveridge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

The staff at this park don't have the time of day to help you in ANY way. The park is 85% "mobile homes" and not MOTOR homes or 5th wheelers. The staff clearly caters to their long term staying guest and NOT to those staying a few days or weeks. VERY strict on everything including making certain your rig is not backed in too far so as to make things look "out of line?" We'll continue to go to Arizona for a few weeks each spring, but won't be staying at a park that really doesn't care about MOTORHOMES on shorter stays. We camped at Silveridge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We started coming to this park in 2011 and have returned every winter. We still travel all summer. The lot sizes are significantly larger then most of the 55+ parks in the area. We consider the smaller size of this park at 687 units a plus. Full size parking area for the rig plus 12 ft patio and 40 foot driveway for the car and outdoor living. It is a congenial community with friendly people and lots of activities for the active adult. Every conceivable type and level of recreation is available and more can be accessed in the surrounding communities. About 10% of the sites are for wheeled vehicles the rest are park model summer vacation homes. Power pedestals at each site provide clean constant 50amp or 30 amp service, water pressure is around 60psi and a restrictor is wise, but bring a water filter, Arizona water is quite hard. All of the sites have open access for satellite service if you carry your own. Pets are welcome but the locations are specific for those who prefer no pets. The facilities are cleaned daily and readily accessible from anywhere in the park. There is a movie theater with free recent run movies, biweekly dinner shows with minimum cost, dances, bingo, and all manner of crafts, computer club and services, sports, billiards, card games from poker to Bridge. For more active sports, there are co-ed softball teams, a large tennis club and senior tennis league, pickleball club, lawn bowling and shuffleboard clubs. Hiking in the surrounding countryside is organized weekly and Golf is available at local courses . A central swimming pool is heavily attended and 2 hot tubs make for a relaxing alternative. A full size lending library is without additional costs. Internet access and cable TV is without additional costs and is in the process of an upgrade. Rate is a month, more months reduces the daily cost recorded for this entry. Definitely call for a reservation way before you plan to visit if you are coming between November to March!! We camped at Silveridge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

East Mesa is a large metropolitan area with efficient freeway and arterial roads. All shopping is as close or far away as you want to travel.

Overall Rating:

We stayed at Silveridge from Nov 1-09 to Jan 25-10 and paid $500/month plus power which worked out to about $70/month. This park was completely upgraded over the past two years and suited more for long term stays but they did have a special offering one free week if you stayed for two. About 60% are park models but the RV sites are large with lots of room to park your vehicle on a concrete pad next to your rig. It has all the amenities of a large +55 RV resort which are new with the upgrading. It is close to Costco and has easy access off the 202. We went there because we knew people at Silveridge and will be staying 6 months next October. We camped at Silveridge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Management was awful. The pools were not clean. The spas were not clean. The bathrooms in the main building are dirty and mold is beginning to form. The people there are very nice, but the overall place needs a lot of work. We did enjoy the tennis courts. We camped at Silveridge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: February, 2008 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This could be a "10" park if they kept it up better. Shower room was not cleaned over the weekend, and not very well during the week either. Most of the facilities are fairly nice, with lots of variety (nice library, tennis, pool and spa, silver smithing, carpentry, billiards, etc) but aging: much like the population here. Residents seem mostly in the 70s, long-timers from the Midwest. RVs are spread around the perimeter and ignored. Front desk staff didn't bother to tell us about free Wi-Fi from sites nor small grassy area for dogs: just to go to the back gate and use the gravel walk out there. Forgot to give us the combo info too, til asked about a key. Went to a football party but residents kept to themselves, not friendly to outsiders. Fairly quiet park, no road noise even though you can see the freeway in the back. OK place, but not worth $40. We camped at Silveridge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Wifi is free in the club house; we were here on a pay for 1 wk get 1 wk free; mostly a park model community but still lots of RV spaces; friendly people; lots of activities, all paved streets, 55 channel cable TV but no picnic table and no fenced dog run but all in all a very very nice park. I couldn't give it less than a 10 even without these things. There is a dog walk area but it's on a back street outside the park. A 55+ park. Close to all kinds of shopping and restaurants. We camped at Silveridge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
