If you plan to come to this park get good directions before you turn off I-17 because there is no signage & it is not easy to find. The park is older but well maintained. Wifi is Tengo which worked well for our stay and they do not have cable TV. I doubt we would stay here again. We camped at Desert's Edge RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

For a metropolitan location, it is a relatively quiet campground except for the Deer Valley Airport (western departure is almost directly overhead). Lots of general aviation activity during the day, but mostly dies out in the evening. Only noticed the occasional I-15 traffic (and only when the wind was from the west), but we were on the side furthest from the highway.
Very tight for big rigs in the front section. Checkin parking requires maneuvering thru front section with 4 relatively tight turns. With big rig, park on Williams Drive outside park, drop toad, walk to office to checkin, then bring rig in. This makes for a mostly straight shot to back area where big rig sites are located.
Level gravel sites with concrete patios and some vegetation. Asphalt access roads, but might not be wide enough for two rigs to pass. Getting into sites in back may be complicated by sewer connections inset from rest of utilities and sites at 90 degrees to road.
Power ok, water 80psi, sewer ok (but elevated so may be difficult to get a slope), sewer supports mandatory (AZ law), wifi tengo - adequate for web browsing and email, but not much else (this with the paid 30 day premium access). Verizon LTE variable from 1 to 3 bars, but adequate data speeds. We camped at Desert's Edge RV Village in a Motorhome.
If going south on I-17 upon leaving, take the LEFT hand ramp from Deer Valley. If you take the right hand ramp you will have a very short merge area across 3 lanes of traffic due to AZ 101 exit. The left hand ramp merges south of AZ 101 thus avoiding the merge across multiple lanes.

Cool park on the northside of Phoenix. Lots of dog run areas including a dog wash station. Very well-maintained. We camped at Desert's Edge RV Village in a Motorhome.

This place is highly recommended. The sites are gravel with concrete table areas and are all tidy. Laundry was excellent and the games room / TV guest room was a big plus, (we didn't use the bathrooms). Staff are really friendly and helpful. I would stay again. I think you'll find this park OK, not remarkable, but good enough. The interior roads are paved and in fairly good condition. The sites are gravel, reasonably level, and have aluminum picnic tables. Daily/weekly sites are pull-through, a little tight to pull into, no shade and little space between. Monthly sites are back-in, have more space between and some shade. Water pressure was very low (18-22 PSI) so we filled our tank and used on board water. There's a nice pool and jacuzzi, a couple of small dog runs and one large one as well as an outside pet wash station. The park is in an industrial area and adjacent to the I-17 freeway. It's a little less than 2 miles from a major retail and dining complex. We camped at Desert's Edge RV Village in a Motorhome.Undo

Very nice park on the north edge of the Phoenix area. We had a level, gravel, pull through site. Sites have concrete patio and aluminum picnic tables. Many over the air TV channels. The Wi-Fi was very slow. Very dog friendly park. Staff was very helpful. We stayed for seven nights. Would definitely stay again. We camped at Desert's Edge RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This place ended up feeling like home after 2 months of staying there. The park was outstanding, the residents and snow birds were friendly, and the staff was kind, considerate and helpful. The park truly was "family-friendly" and we felt welcome there the second we pulled in. The pool was warm and wonderful. The laundry facilities were more than adequate. The community room and fitness/rec room were accommodating, clean and not lacking. There were always planned activities to participate in, with lots of yummy and free food. The playground was new, safe and fun. There were lots of citrus fruit trees on site everywhere in the park, all ripe for the taking. Ya gotta love fresh fruit! The sites to pull on were paved, the walking around on your site area was gravel, but there was a decent sized patio that was paved that you would step out of your rig onto. The rest of the park was paved, which made jogging, walking and bike riding an easy task. It was close to numerous attractions and close to downtown Phoenix. We will definitely stay here again if we're ever in the area. We recommend it to others all the time, and they stay there with an equally enjoyable experience. The park is very clean including the bathrooms and pool area. The pull-in was a little tight, but pay attention and you should have no problems. They have nice shrubs between sites that give you some privacy as the sites are quite close. The connections are at the rear of the sites so you will need extensions on water and sewer. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable of the local area. You will need to be careful as you pull into or out of the park as there is quite a dip and several RVs have scraped on the pavement. The sites were level. We stayed 2 nights to visit family in area. The park is very cute. Sites are level and well thought out, but all gravel with a few bushes here and there. Looks like it can be busy in the winter months. There is a sound barrier wall to block out the Interstate and industrial noise. Nice landscape is all around the park. Only minus is the fact that the dog smell of waste has just about over run the park. There is 3 dog areas and all of them need a good cleaning. I would not let my dog use the designated areas due to the smell and waste. We would probably look for some where different next time. We camped at Desert's Edge RV Village in a Motorhome.Undo

Good overnight park, although it seemed there may be long stays also. Near I17, so a little noisy but not real bad. Internet intermittent. Could have been a little cleaner, but hard because of constant high winds. We camped at Desert's Edge RV Village in a Motorhome.Undo

We stayed in a travel trailer for seven nights. Very nice park, extremely well maintained. All sites are flat and level with a concrete patio and aluminum picnic table. Only negatives that prevent it from being a 10 are, the free TENGO intranet was slow and unreliable. There are numerous small planes flying over from a local airport with an occasional jet thrown in. There is loud truck noise from the freeway and local streets. If the above are not an issue, this is a great park. We would return to this park if in the area. We really liked this RV park. Arrived after hours and check-in was a breeze, all info and keys in the box as expected. The park was clean and everything worked. Pool area was small, but the pool and spa were clean. Family friendly. We were on the side away from the freeway so I didn't notice any traffic noise. Very close to anything you may need. We were there for spring training and only about 30 minutes max from any ballpark. The staff was very nice. Can't wait till next year. We will definitely stay here again. If you like the desert, you will love this park. It is clean and well maintained. There is a lovely pool and spa, the cleanest laundry room ever, and a nice community room with a pool table, sofas, etc. There is lots of consideration for pets with multiple pet areas and even a pet grooming area! It is easy enough to navigate around. It has paved streets and gravel pads so there is very little dust. There is nice landscaping between sites and even a few trees here and there. Only negative is that Wi-Fi isn't great (sporadic strength in the connection) and the TV is only local channels. We camped at Desert's Edge RV Village in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $55.00
Very beautiful RV park with pool, large laundry room, ok size sites, but beautiful views of mountains. No shade and lots of traffic noise. It felt like a very secure and safe RV park because of the 8' rock wall around it and no neighbors near by. Mostly industrial area. But, overall I would definitely stay there again. I have no real complaints. Staff was seen, but not heard. They kept park clean and running efficiently. We stayed there about a month and love it. Beautifully maintained park. Great for a stop over in the Phoenix area, and maybe longer in the winter months when the miserable heat subsides. Very pet oriented with nice dog runs and a doggie bath area. Lots of restaurants and stores just a couple miles down the road. This is our second stop at this park and we will definitely stop there again. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We camped at Desert's Edge RV Village in a Motorhome.Undo
