Overall Rating:

The park itself is on the meh side of OK. It is one of few parks here that actually have paved roads. Sites are gravel and fairly level. Park is geared almost exclusively to seasonal/long termers with many park models and permanently installed RV's. Although staying 4 nights, we were still relegated to the half dozen "overnight" spots immediately adjacent to the office and highway. Our site was just big enough for our 38' trailer, buy parking the TV was a challenge. No charm or ambiance at all. Big rig noise all day and night on Main Street. Laundry facility was nice and there is a game room and spa. WiFi exists, but after 6AM is unusable. Quartzsite itself is a dusty armpit. I cant for the life of me comprehend why someone would choose to spend several months here in the winter. There is nothing attractive about this town or the surrounding wasteland. There is a small grocery store that struggles to keep the shelves stocked and, other than fast food chains, a couple of dingy cafes that serve bland food. Otherwise, you would have to drive to Yuma (80 miles) or Havasu City (70 miles) for any semblance of provisioning. Judging by the endless caravan of RV's flooding into town towing Polaris-type ATV's you'd assume that this area was an off-road enthusiast's mecca, but the snowbird set seems to find them trendy golf carts here and use them to buzz around town. Most RV "parks" here are dirt lots and it is amazing to see the brand new $300K class A's wedged between 1950's era single-wides that are slowly disintegrating into the desert. Staying 4 nights here was 4 nights too many. Big pass. We camped at Holiday Palms RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This park obviously exists primarily for permanent and long-term residents, but there are about a dozen pull-thrus up front for those of us just passing through. The employees were friendly and they have a nice, giant hot tub. There are other interesting amenities like a DIY oil-change station and trailer wash spray wand. We enjoyed the smell of fruit tree blossoms while walking through the park. Our only real complaint is the road noise as the park is sandwiched between the interstate and highway. There's also a lot of rocky crud in the water from the well. Make sure you filter the water. We camped at Holiday Palms RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is the 3rd year we have stayed here, each time for just a couple nights. The park is clean, friendly and very well run. We were towing a trailer this time so to make life easier for us they moved us from one spot to a better one. The first one would have been ok, but the one we got was so perfect for our needs. They put us in a back-in spot with no one behind so we did not have to unhitch the car trailer. So my review says we were in a back in, but they had us use it like a pull-through. We camped at Holiday Palms RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here in the first part of January for a week and were quite pleased. We were put in the pull-through sites at the front across from the office. We had good wifi (for an RV park) because we could log onto the office system. When it was down we had a Tengo Internet coupon that was in our packet. The site was gravel but it was level and all the services were good. We found the staff exceptionally helpful. We had a minor mishap (I overshot the tow dolly) that one of their staff helped me to rectify. This is a great spot to stay if your there for the gem show, swap meets or RV show. We found the people in the park very friendly. We would come back again to this park. We camped at Holiday Palms RV Park in a Motorhome.

This campground was easy to find from the interstate. Check in was quick and easy. Staff members were friendly and helpful. This campground has a lot of extended stay sites mixed in with more transient sites. The extended stay site next to us was in a terrible state of disrepair. We couldn't believe someone was actually living there. All full hookups worked as expected. Cell service was good. Cable TV worked well. WIFI worked well at the office, but not at the sites. Restrooms, showers and laundry were clean. There are places to walk your dog around the campground. This wasn't an expensive place to stay, but we were really turned off by the state of disrepair of some the extended stay sites. We'll stay somewhere else until the place is cleaned up. We camped at Holiday Palms RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

First time visiting Quartzite So did not know where to stay. After many calls to other parks, talked to Shelly. We are 45 ft. So a problem In an older park. She had someone physically measure a spot to confirm we would fit. Very accomadating. When we arrived our guide directed us into our spot perfectly. We wanted to see the RV tent and was able to walk through the back gate right to the tent. Very close to all activities.
I do believe this is one of the nicest parks in the area. Wide spaces and friendly help. We camped in a 45 ft motorhome. We camped at Holiday Palms RV Park in a Motorhome.

It's the desert and the temperature is 106 in the evening! The park is clean even though there are many long term stays with older RVs. Mangers are nice and helpful. Sites are gravel with no patio but a picnic table. Easy access in and out. We camped at Holiday Palms RV Park in a Motorhome.

We used this as an overnight stop. It appears the office closes approx. 1 pm. Find an open site and settle up the next morning. The manager did come by our site later in the evening and we settled with him. Well paved roads and gravel sites. Lots of bunny rabbits in the evening time. Close to I-10 and traffic, but it didn't bother us! Would stay at this CG again. We camped at Holiday Palms RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Easy access to I10. You can hear some noise, but the A/C unit helped and it didn't both us. We were expecting some run down lot based on what we saw on Google Maps, and the places we passed getting off the interstate. We were very pleasantly surprised; the lot is very well kept up and clean. our envelope with receipt was taped to the door with our site number on. There are a number of pull through sites at the front for overnight stays; it was easy to get in and out. The restrooms/showers and laundry were clean, but did not have A/C. The overnight price was a little high, but the laundry was reasonably priced. It's so hot here that even with only the cold water running in the shower, the water was still too warm. The poor dogs had to drink warm water. I'm hoping to not stay in this part of the country again, but we'd stay here again overnight if we do pass through. We camped at Holiday Palms RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here twice for two days each on either end of our trip to Northern Arizona. The park is mostly permanent residents who come and go per season. The park was very nice and clean. No views of anything wonderful, but quiet and efficient. Yes you do hear the noise from the 10 freeway, but it is somewhat distant and didn't bother us at all. For the price and short visit, I would say it's great. It's probably one of the very best places to stay during the "season" here in Quartzsite because it has pull-through sites and full hook-ups. Good Wi-Fi, not super speedy, but adequate. We camped at Holiday Palms RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If it's not "Season", here (September to March), there is NOTHING to do. Only two restaurants in town open, and a couple of rock shops. But it works for a stop along the way to somewhere else.
