Kofa National Wildlife Refuge sits off Highways 10 and 95 near Quartzsite. Excellent dry camping - not another soul there when we were there - we drove in off Highway 10. I understand the entrance off Highway 95 is the more popular and probably more crowded. Lots of cacti in a high desert landscape. Be careful of where you walk your dogs because of the cacti. Vehicles with low clearance could have problems on the gravel/dirt roads but we were fine in our 24' class C. You can camp anywhere within 100' of any road. Wilderness at its best. We camped at Kofa Wildlife Refuge in a Motorhome.Undo
