Desert type RV park with gravel roads with long gravel level pull thru and back in sites with FHU 30 & 50. No grass and no trees. OK for big rigs. ½ mile off freeway and close to town. Free password wi-fi , good cell signal. No pool. Park clean and staff helpful, utilities strong. No scheduled activities in summer. Did not use facilities or rec room. Would stay again. We camped at Park Place RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

No reservation, but most of the hubbub in Quartzville was over when we arrived so there were a few vacancies. Friendly check in. All gravel park with wide sites and good hookups. Our dogs liked their dog park better than any we saw on the trip. No trees to speak of, so probably pretty hot in the summer. Would stay again. Price reflects P.A. discount. We camped at Park Place RV Park in a Motorhome.

Big gravel sites. We had a pull thru. Some 50 amp sites. Super friendly folks that are glad your staying there. They remembered us from over a year ago. New fenced dog park. WiFi was okay. They have fun things to do. Quiet. We would stay here again. We camped at Park Place RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Large gravel parking lot with level spaces. Not much in the way of amenities, but superb customer service, and a bargain, especially at the Passport America rate. Very easy to get to from the interstate. Great place to overnight in Quartzsite if you need electric. Wifi better than average, but park was mostly empty when I stayed. We camped at Park Place RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Stayed four nights at Quartzsite. Mgrs. and asst. mgrs. on check in were very nice and helpful. The park is very clean with large, level gravel spaces. Very quiet day & night. We have a 40ft. Country Coach and were assigned a 30 amp space. 50 amp were all taken. During the first night, the coach decided that it would not accept the power. The auto-gen started the generator. Seven minutes later the mgr. Bill, showed up to say that no gens allowed. He and his wife went out of their way to move us over behind their fifth wheel as the park was full, so that we could remain at the park. It is night time and raining. They had us hook up to their 50 amp power as they went onto their propane for our stay. This level of kindness is hard to find. My rating--A Plus !!!! We camped at Park Place RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The hosts the evening were very nice and friendly. It was Thanksgiving and we did not feel like we were infringing on them at all.

We did have a problem the following morning. The park rules were given to us on a very glossy ad type piece of paper. The fine print at the top in very small font contained the rules. We being novices at rv parks did not know that rinsing off the back of your rig is not allowed at most parks. A gruff man came up to my partner and asked if he had been given rules. We did not know that he was the manager and he did not ID himself. We did not know that we were given the rules. We really feel that if you are the manager that you should introduce yourself and you should have rules with you and not just walk off after curtly asking if we had gotten a copy of the rules and don't rinse it.

Great dog run. We camped at Park Place RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

My parents have been staying at Park Place RV Park for several years and always went back. This past winter they both fell sick the managers and owner went out of their way to help my parents. I am very grateful to the managers they showed concern, passion and were very helpful. When my parents could not walk or take care of their dog the managers did this for them. Trying to get things in order for my parents with the mail, camper, trailers and all, the mangers went above and beyond in helping us and their concern and passion for my parents and their dog are very much appreciated. May God bless them. We camped at Park Place RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Stayed 5 months-reason my daily rate is low. Because park is located at edge of town you can more easily see mountains and desert. But because of location wind and dust is more of a problem. Dogs are welcome? This last winter, owners were asked to walk their pets outside of park. Which resulted in losing one beloved companion to a rattlesnake bite. Laundry and bath area is locked at 6:30pm. I was told I needed to finish and leave by 6:30 because area would be locked. RV site is driveway gravel not the small pea gravel that can be raked/leveled. This causes lumps under the patio mat. Dusty, not paved-wouldn't matter since there is nothing north of park but miles and miles of desert. This park's season rate was one of the least expensive. More parks are now offering 5-6 month special rates. Free WiFi--very limited use. Policy: use more than owner wants and he locks your computer. We camped at Park Place RV Park in a Motorhome.

One of the better parks in Quartzsite. Very large level spaces. No cable, wifi was slow. Good 50amp power. The folks running the place are very pround of the park & it shows! The even escort you to your site & make sure all is ok. Very easy on/off the the 10, but very quite for the most part. Will will be staying here again next Jan. Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $6.00
Overall Rating:

During 9 years of full-time RVing, we've never experienced such a hostile environment before. After less than a week, we wanted a refund and we were refused.

PROS: Conveniently located from I-10, Large sites, Quiet end of town. Clotheslines available for use.

CONS: WIFI limited to 250 MB a day (Owner monitors and "Denies Access" if you go over). Few 50 amp hookups. Dusty, speed limit isn't enforced.

We paid for 6 months upon arrival. Left (with notice) for 10 days. We returned to visit friends & found our site rented!

Bring Bottled water. Others don't recommend using the Park water.

Not allowed to exercise your generator. You have to unhook and go outside of the Park to take care of that. Running a Diesel engine to air-up and re-level, that's not allowed either!

Not at all pet friendly by a manager) he displays such hatred toward dogs, nothing can fix that.

Restrooms, 1 shower/1 toilet in Clubhouse. $2.00 to take a shower! Laundry: 2 washers, 3 dryers. All are locked during the hours of 6 pm - 8 am.

NOT ADA compliant. Refused admittance of a Service Animal. Requested a Service Animals' papers to copy and keep in the office for their records, both actions are illegal. Manager quotes ADA rules from a man at the "Sanitation Department." Puzzling since the Sanitation Department is in charge of Sewage and Garbage.

Work-campers seldom return (someone needs to look into the reason for that). Management manipulates facts to cover the reasons.

In conclusion: The Managers have gone out of their way to make this a miserable experience. What they do is targeted harassment. Unless you enjoy having someone stand in front of you, smiling while they lie to you repeatedly, or if you like walking on eggshells constantly because a manager likes to throw his weight around. We'd recommend you avoid this park for anything more than an overnight stop, until a change in management occurs. We camped at Park Place RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lots of nearby activities. Gem and Mineral Club, QIA and Senior Center has a nice selection of events. A snowbird haven during the winter. Shopping in Blythe, CA or Parker, AZ was sufficient.

This is our first Winter in Quartzsite "snowbirding". Park Place RV is quiet and clean with large level spaces. The spaces are staggered so you're not looking at the back of another RV. It is close to all of the main streets and events. Nice walking /biking trails and easy access to the freeway. Stores and restaurants are within walking distance. The managers are very nice and the RVers for the winter are awesome. Weekly karaoke and music Jams. Scheduled dances, potlucks, exercise, and beading classes are on the calendar. Lots of fun with nice people.!!!!! We camped at Park Place RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
