This is a nice park right in Quartzsite and within walking distance of the "Big Tent", The Rock and Gem Show and a number of businesses. It is very crowded during show time and RV's are parked really close "back to back" as can be expected in Quartzsite during the biggest RV gathering in the world. The sites are well taken care of, facilities immaculate and staff helpful and friendly. No use of portable heaters allowed so needed to use our furnace a lot. We camped at Shady Lane RV Park in a Motorhome.

All gravel. No tables, pads, amenities. And nothing to differentiate this park from 3 or 4 others we passed by. We camped at Shady Lane RV Park in a Motorhome.

We just stayed one night. The people in the office were very friendly and helpful. They assigned us a long pull through so we didn't have to unhook. The park was neat, clean and quiet. Sites are relatively spacious and are in the open. The site surface is gravel. We camped at Shady Lane RV Park in a Motorhome.

We are return campers at this RV park and enjoyed our stay. The park is conveniently located on Hwy 95 just off I-10. Even though it is on a major highway, we were not bothered by a lot of traffic noise late at night. We were here for the annual Quartzsite RV Show. Lot spacing is nearby with a sunny/open exposure. Site surface is gravel. We camped at Shady Lane RV Park in a Motorhome.

We came here not knowing the area at all, looking for a place to stay for the winter. Something made me come to this place. I'm so happy we found this. This place is awesome. The new owners are great people. We have movie nights, campfire nights and so much fun. The place is clean. Right in the middle of everything. You can walk or ride your bicycles anywhere from here. The people we've met so far are here year after year and are very nice. Close knit, trusting, fun. Very good laundry room, hot showers(free), clubhouse with pool table, puzzles, good wifi. All around a great place.. The new owners are very helpful, down to earth and friendly. A complete turn around from what it was in the past with the previous owner (what everyone tells me anyway) we're really happy to have found it. One of the best places in Quartzsite. We camped at Shady Lane RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent the Thanksgiving holidays there 2015 and we were very pleased by how we were treated. We were greeted with a smile and an invitation to join in on a potluck Thanksgiving dinner, it was great. The new owners were real down to earth people and chatted with us about our hobbies and theirs. Will stay again soon, hopefully with a group of our friends. We did not use the restrooms because we are self contained, but the club house was nice and the grounds were well kept. Our parking spot was plenty big for our 26ft. motorhome and our Jeep Wrangler and the park staff assisted in parking. They didn't just give us a map and point, they led us in a gulf cart right to the spot and helped us park. We like that the park is right down town, walking distance to almost anything and not right on the freeway, great location. We camped at Shady Lane RV Park in a Motorhome.

If you are looking for a straightforward, no-frills, but immaculate, and friendly place to stay you need look no further.

Shady Lane will become your second home! The bathroom/shower facilities are immaculate, as is the laundry room. The RV spaces themselves are large enough to accommodate not only your RV but your vehicle right next to you. There is a concrete pad with picnic table right outside your door. We are dealers at the QIA POW WOW every year and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else for the winter season.

The owner and her helper are absolutely the best! They will do everything they can to accommodate your needs and enforce park rules for the comort of ALL their guests. We did a "seasonal package" and felt the price ($735 for 3 months) was a real bargain for this area during peak time. I would highly recommend that you make reservations early in the year, however. We camped at Shady Lane RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The Quartzsite season starts around November 1st. The weather is usually very mild with not a lot going on. However, after January 1st it starts to rock 'not roll! If you love to see or buy beautiful rocks and Mineral specimen's you're going to like it here. Then there is Tyson Wells where they have hundreds of vendors selling their wares. Then, if you're not already exhausted there is the Big Tent RV Show! This is a huge venue for vendors selling every RV gadget, tool and accessory you could ever dream of! Lots of things to see and do here.

Recently spent a night here in a 41' DP, pulling a car.

The deluxe pull thru (damn if I know what deluxe is, here) was $44+ and, though advertised as a Good Sam park, there are no discounts. Most probably, long term residents really like it here because of friendships established. We decided to stay here just to see if the reviews were justified. Did not expect the huge price tag. We have stayed at luxury parks for less and gotten much more. If you stay here, remember that if your DP exceeds 40' and you are pulling a toad, you might have to unhook to get out of the park. No, I am not a novice at this, having driven commercial HD wreckers and large motorhomes for many years.

I would not stay here again. Too many other options. We camped at Shady Lane RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pay showers, hot water at rear restroom not yet turned on for season. Pay extra for 50 amp & Wi-Fi. Cash or check only. Agree with other comments about management. We camped at Shady Lane RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Would have given it a higher rating, if the lady owner didn't have an attitude. As we were leaving our 1 night stay, she stood in the shadows watching every move we made atop her golf cart. Didn't acknowledge a good morning from my wife and pitched a fit when she seen I was filling up our fresh water holding tank. Pleasant Canadian staff, but a typical "Q" resident owner. Most likely; her time to retire. We camped at Shady Lane RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Terrible owners: the employees very afraid of them. This park is in poor condition. The sites too close together. Would not stay here again. We camped at Shady Lane RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This was the worst park we ever stayed in. During the Quartzite show, management squeezed the sites down to half size and parked 2 RV's in one site. No room for awnings, slideouts, tow dolly's, etc. Sites were dirty and noisy. Management was less then pleasant. Pass this one up. We stayed here in a motorhome. We camped at Shady Lane RV Park in a Motorhome.
