This is a very nice friendly park. The sites are roomy & level. The staff and other RVers were very friendly & helpful. We attended the park's annual Luau; enjoyed a great potluck, fun activities and conversation. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
Quartzsite is a rock hounds paradise.

Price reflects monthly rate. Great staff, organized activities and easy to get to. Office open most of the time. Pet friendly and a nearby wash to walk dogs. Level sites, concrete patios, VERY clean. Utilities and equipment very updated and well maintained. Watched the staff painting the fence almost every day. Internet ok, very strong signal but sometimes very slow and they charged a monthly fee of 25 dollars for access. Cheap propane on the other side of the street. Walking distance to post office, grocery stores and all things Quartzsite. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.
There is no mailman in Quartzite so don´t use USPS for anything else than General Delivery.

The park is conveniently located to the heart of Quartzsite. I really have only 1 minor complaint about the park, but I have nothing great to say. The park is level gravel with few trees. Good effort is make to keep the park clean and tidy. There are laundry facilities (pay). The restrooms are clean. The park provides a monthly calendar of activities, including free pancake breakfasts. Bring your own fire ring. WiFI available to rent, but we did not use. We brought our own. Sprint/Sprint network is slow and frustrating. Park is right on AZ 95. Sites away from the highway are quieter. Spaces are close but manageable. We were on a corner. Unfortunately, truck was parked next to concrete patio pad. Weather was cold so we did not spend much time outside and truck/patio was not an issue. Park is pet friendly. But, caution! Minor gripe: If you bring a dog, there is no dog run. We stayed a month and were frustrated to learn there is no dedicated dog run. Most people walk their dogs in the adjoining wash. We found the city's dog park about 1 mile away. Great fenced, grass, area. In the event we return, it will be overnight and not an extended stay. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Quartzsite, being a snowbird destination, has an abundance of commercial campgrounds - by some estimates 40-70.
The Scenic Road stands alone as our favorite.
Campsites are spacious and clean with concrete patios and security lighting. Crushed gravel throughout TSR makes for little or no blowing dust. (if you've ever been to Q you will understand why this is important) Toilets and showers, while limited in number, are clean and well maintained. The laundry is flawless.
WiFi is okay - limited to one device and typically slow during peak periods, but that is no fault of the park.
Our $11 daily rate is based on a two month booking - Jan-Feb 2016. Electric charges are additional and billed at the end of the month. WiFi incurs an additional $25 monthly.
The Scenic Road hosts offer an abundance of activities, including BINGO, exercise, Yoga, potlucks, special interest groups, Super Bowl party, and even a Luau!
The owner and staff were at all times positive, cheerful, and willing to address any issue or concern.
We will definitely stay here again. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.
Be advised there is NO residential US Mail delivery in Quartzsite. UPS/FedEx to the campground are fine, but the only option for US Mail is a PO Box or General Delivery.

They don't take credit cards. Extremely pleasant staff. Ample-sized sites with patios. Nice gravel interior roads and sites. New power pedestals. Small laundry (four washers, three driers), plus they have clothes lines, laundry baskets, and clothes pins for those who like line-dried laundry. Very strong 50 amp power. Good, free Wi-Fi, although it allows only one device at a time. Adjacent to a gravel wash for walking the dog; plastic bags are provided. The restrooms consist of a one-man mens' bathroom/shower and a one-woman womens' bathroom/shower. A key code is required to enter either. We would happily return. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Only stopped for one night near the end of the season. Park was very empty so we got one of the few trees for shade. Check in was great with good attendents, no credit cards, escort to site, and help finding what was still open in the area. Most had shut down for the season. Site was level, gravel, with patio. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

We came to Quartzsite for 3 nights near the end of the season. There was a lot of campground availability, glad we picked this one!! Easy check-in with super nice owner. Golf cart escort to site. Long, level gravel pull-thrus with concrete patio. The electric and water hookups were perfect. Free wifi that not only worked, but it was fast! Looks like many repeat snowbirds here. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We were even invited to cake & ice cream at this month's birthday and anniversary celebration. Used the laundry room which was clean and convenient. Only one public bath on site which we didn't use. Would definitely return here when we return to Quartzsite next year. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

We chose this RV park based on the excellent reviews. We were on our way to Yuma thinking we would stay in Quartzsite for a month. Our first time vacationing in Arizona. The reviews were very accurate. Upon arrival we noted the grounds were well kept, we were greeted by friendly staff, and escorted to our site, a first for us! The site was gravel and level which fit our forty foot toy hauler no problem. There was ample room to park our quad and motorcycle. There is concrete pad at each site but no picnic table. Full service was nice; therefore, we did not use the facilities but we saw them cleaned daily. The laundry area was clean with four washing machines and three dryers. The office had rolls of quarters which was convenient. The monthly calendar is filled with a lots of activities in and outside of the park, we enjoyed the pot luck celebrations and the weekly jams at the club house. We liked this park so much we decided to stay for another month and take day trips to Yuma. Being long term, we paid $25.00 per month for the WiFi which was consistent with a strong signal. Our electricity averaged about $50.00 per month. The owner and staff work very hard to maintain a standard of excellence at this RV park. We will be sure to return again. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

The Wi-Fi is industrial strength. I think we are paying $20 for Wi-Fi for the month. It works great. Dsl speed. Best we have ever had in Quartzsite. This park has a LOT going on nearly every day. Games, get-togethers, guest speakers, ice cream socials, exercise classes, crafting, and jam sessions. Really nice staff and owners. Big sites. Great location. This is our new home in Quartzsite. (Admin note: nightly rate based on long term stay.) We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
It's Quartzsite. So much to do, so little time. So many strange people.

Wow...it's nice to get lucky once in a while. Based on other reviews we booked this for the mid Jan to mid Feb and after being here for two weeks we are very happy. I love watching the rigs drive up and down Hwy 95 during the day but very quiet at night. The owners bend over backwards helping making campers comfortable. I have never attended so many camp activities as here...cards, board games, feeds and classes from music to tai-chi. Would be a 10 if there were more than one toilet bathroom for the whole campground but...hey, I can survive. Rate reflects monthly rate. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Our first time here. Great little park. Owners are very, very friendly and caring. After several days of dry camping it is nice to have great 50amp, good water pressure, and no dust. Gravel is good and sites level. Nice concrete patio area. Will use this park again for sure. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

This was our first time to Quartzsite and we picked this park because they gave and Escapees discount. Turns out its a very nice park and easy to get to and very friendly owners. This is a park catering to 55 or older so there are know kids in the park or facilities for them. The new owners have put a lot of work into this Park and it shows. They had a wonderful dinner for all of us on St. Patricks Day. We will come back again. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
