The staff and owner are excellent and treated us like family. We were impressed that they were concerned that everything was working well and we were satisfied with our stay. "Chuck" was helpful in getting us set up and showing us around the park. We will definitely stay here again. We stayed seven nights. They are very dog friendly. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

A friend of mine and I went to Quartzsite to see what it looked like for him to boondock there next winter. We decided to stay for a couple of nights at this park since they had a "manager's special" rate of $20 per night. Of course we were there after the mass exodus of campers following the winter season. The park was very nice, but no picnic tables or grills. Each site had a concrete pad that you could use as an outdoor area, a place for our camper on fairly level gravel and room for our TV next to the trailer. Water pressure was good, no television available to speak of, but if you had a better antenna than me you might be able to pull something in. This park is on AZ 95 as you get into town so there is a bit of traffic noise. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

Great rock and mineral shops in Quartzsite. Silly Al's is the place to go for pizza.

Thank you for the review. We are looking to add a few tables for our guests that stay with us for a couple of days only. We also offer the strongest wi-fi in town. Our wi-fi reaches each site, so you don't have to go to the office of club house. We hope that you return next year and have a chance to see the park in full swing.

We stayed a couple of nights at this park. We couldn't have been treated better if we were there for the season! Sites are a decent size and level... with cement patios alongside. New service poles and updated. Internet service was really good (although it is limited to one person at a time on each site.) Lovely little cactus gardens and some trees give a nice break from the parking lot atmosphere of other parks in the area. Nice clubhouse and activities were offered. Restrooms and showers were clean and roomy. New owners and staff are very helpful. Dog-friendly too! We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Best prices and water, gas and propane are right across the street. Easy access to Quartzsite amenities. Although it's alongside a major highway, the sites weren't too noisy. There are sites of various lengths and the hosts put you in one that is suitable for your RV.

Basic. Simple. Clean. Easy in. Easy out. It is by no means fancy. Reception personnel (owner) is very welcoming and helpful. Good wifi connection. In a perfect location to get out and do your own exploring. One bathroom, one shower each for male/female. Escorted to our site to make sure we were clear for slideouts and good distance for sewer/water/electric hook up. Cash or check only. No credit cards. No after sundown arrivals. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Thank you for the review. We pride ourselves on the personal service and the 5 Wi-Fi antennas we have in the park to reach each site. We are always looking for points of interest for everyone one to see. We are always updating our list of places and sites to explore. There are many National designated sites in the area for all to explore. Come to the office for a list of things to see and do here in Quartzsite.

Quartzsite is a unique place which, for its size has lots of options for parking your RV. This is the only RV park I have experience with here but it was very positive. Terrific service from the owner/manager. He is very focused on ensuring that you have a good experience. This is desert so driveways and site pads are gravel. Each site has full hook ups with a concrete patio. The free WiFi worked well for us. The bathrooms as well as the entire park were very clean. Good experience. We paid $33 per night. We stayed here a week after boondocking several days during the big gathering in the desert. Made reservation months earlier with the new owner who was great and very friendly/helpful during our stay, even coming by to ask if there was anything we needed. Water pressure was good. I used the free car wash facility which was nice. Free wifi was mediocre at best, which is a shame as te owner said he had (2) 25GB legs coming in but I think they weren't configured right, my tests never saw better than 1MB down and .5up. VZW was 4-5 bars LTE but towers overworked during Quartzsite RV event. Would stay here again if in the area. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Thanks or your comments and nice words on The Scenic Road. We take pride in taking care of each of our guests. We have 5 antenna's in the park to serve our Wi-Fi system. With up words of 97 people hitting the system it does slow it down a bit during the busy time. We have provided the fastest speed in Quartzite that is available. We understand how important Wi-Fi is to everyone these days. We will look at the configuration to make sure we have everything set right. Thanks for letting us know.

Decent enough park. Friendly. But we couldn't hook up our water because it is super hard. We were warned not to drink it. We decided not to risk our coach's system. Also wifi is limited to one device. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Thank you for your review. As we are following up, you can see that we take each review very seriously. In regrades to the water connection can you tell us what site you were in so that we can evaluate the connections as needed. Our water is provided by the Town of Quartzsite and meets or exceeds all government requirements for water quality, in addition The Scenic Road has our own filter system to improve the quality and taste of the water. I am surprised that one of our staff advised you not to drink the water. We appreciate your review as we always strive to provide the best experience at our park.

Price reflects monthly rate. Great staff, organized activities and easy to get to. Office open most of the time. Pet friendly and a nearby wash to walk dogs. Level sites, concrete patios, VERY clean. Utilities and equipment very updated and well maintained. Watched the staff painting the fence almost every day. Internet ok, very strong signal but sometimes very slow and they charged a monthly fee of 25 dollars for access. Cheap propane on the other side of the street. Walking distance to post office, grocery stores and all things Quartzsite. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is conveniently located to the heart of Quartzsite. I really have only 1 minor complaint about the park, but I have nothing great to say. The park is level gravel with few trees. Good effort is make to keep the park clean and tidy. There are laundry facilities (pay). The restrooms are clean. The park provides a monthly calendar of activities, including free pancake breakfasts. Bring your own fire ring. WiFI available to rent, but we did not use. We brought our own. Sprint/Sprint network is slow and frustrating. Park is right on AZ 95. Sites away from the highway are quieter. Spaces are close but manageable. We were on a corner. Unfortunately, truck was parked next to concrete patio pad. Weather was cold so we did not spend much time outside and truck/patio was not an issue. Park is pet friendly. But, caution! Minor gripe: If you bring a dog, there is no dog run. We stayed a month and were frustrated to learn there is no dedicated dog run. Most people walk their dogs in the adjoining wash. We found the city's dog park about 1 mile away. Great fenced, grass, area. In the event we return, it will be overnight and not an extended stay. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Quartzsite, being a snowbird destination, has an abundance of commercial campgrounds - by some estimates 40-70.
The Scenic Road stands alone as our favorite.
Campsites are spacious and clean with concrete patios and security lighting. Crushed gravel throughout TSR makes for little or no blowing dust. (if you've ever been to Q you will understand why this is important) Toilets and showers, while limited in number, are clean and well maintained. The laundry is flawless.
WiFi is okay - limited to one device and typically slow during peak periods, but that is no fault of the park.
Our $11 daily rate is based on a two month booking - Jan-Feb 2016. Electric charges are additional and billed at the end of the month. WiFi incurs an additional $25 monthly.
The Scenic Road hosts offer an abundance of activities, including BINGO, exercise, Yoga, potlucks, special interest groups, Super Bowl party, and even a Luau!
The owner and staff were at all times positive, cheerful, and willing to address any issue or concern.
We will definitely stay here again. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

They don't take credit cards. Extremely pleasant staff. Ample-sized sites with patios. Nice gravel interior roads and sites. New power pedestals. Small laundry (four washers, three driers), plus they have clothes lines, laundry baskets, and clothes pins for those who like line-dried laundry. Very strong 50 amp power. Good, free Wi-Fi, although it allows only one device at a time. Adjacent to a gravel wash for walking the dog; plastic bags are provided. The restrooms consist of a one-man mens' bathroom/shower and a one-woman womens' bathroom/shower. A key code is required to enter either. We would happily return. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Only stopped for one night near the end of the season. Park was very empty so we got one of the few trees for shade. Check in was great with good attendents, no credit cards, escort to site, and help finding what was still open in the area. Most had shut down for the season. Site was level, gravel, with patio. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

We came to Quartzsite for 3 nights near the end of the season. There was a lot of campground availability, glad we picked this one!! Easy check-in with super nice owner. Golf cart escort to site. Long, level gravel pull-thrus with concrete patio. The electric and water hookups were perfect. Free wifi that not only worked, but it was fast! Looks like many repeat snowbirds here. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We were even invited to cake & ice cream at this month's birthday and anniversary celebration. Used the laundry room which was clean and convenient. Only one public bath on site which we didn't use. Would definitely return here when we return to Quartzsite next year. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

We chose this RV park based on the excellent reviews. We were on our way to Yuma thinking we would stay in Quartzsite for a month. Our first time vacationing in Arizona. The reviews were very accurate. Upon arrival we noted the grounds were well kept, we were greeted by friendly staff, and escorted to our site, a first for us! The site was gravel and level which fit our forty foot toy hauler no problem. There was ample room to park our quad and motorcycle. There is concrete pad at each site but no picnic table. Full service was nice; therefore, we did not use the facilities but we saw them cleaned daily. The laundry area was clean with four washing machines and three dryers. The office had rolls of quarters which was convenient. The monthly calendar is filled with a lots of activities in and outside of the park, we enjoyed the pot luck celebrations and the weekly jams at the club house. We liked this park so much we decided to stay for another month and take day trips to Yuma. Being long term, we paid $25.00 per month for the WiFi which was consistent with a strong signal. Our electricity averaged about $50.00 per month. The owner and staff work very hard to maintain a standard of excellence at this RV park. We will be sure to return again. We camped at The Scenic Road RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.
