This park is mostly mobile homes and park models with primarily snowbird residents. They seemed to be extremely friendly to short-stay RV'ers like us. Anyone who walked by had a friendly word and pleasant conversation.
The park has a few RV sites at the front. They are a bit tight to get into, but the wide road in front simplifies access. Most are shaded (unusual in this part of Arizona) so don't count on a satellite shot. The park does have Wi-Fi, but only at the clubhouse. Our Verizon cellular signal was adequate but not strong. The laundry is excellent and extremely inexpensive - we paid only $5 for three loads wash and dry!
If we were in the Safford area again, we would probably stay here. We camped at Safford Ranch Mobile Home Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit the downtown BLM and Forest Service office in Safford. They will advise you about the Mount Graham road (goes up the nearby mountain to 9,000 feet) and the Gila Box Riparian Conservation Area. Both are highly recommended.

We stayed at this Mobile Home Park due to a tire failure.. and could not have picked a better place to stay! The staff went above and beyond, helping us get into the site, (we were exhausted from the ordeal we had that day), connected us with a mobile repair business and generally made the end of a horrible day very nice. The sites have mature trees shading them and are spacious. Its a very clean and lovely park with very nice amenities; clubhouse, pool etc. Its very quiet and with on site staff, you are very well taken care of. If in the area again, we would return without a doubt! We camped at Safford Ranch Mobile Home Park in a Motorhome.

This park had a lot of shade but the it is an older park and could use some updating. There were to many rundown trailers, which made the place seem to lose its curb appeal. We camped at Safford Ranch Mobile Home Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: January, 2013 - $32.00

The mobile home portion part of the park is for 55+. The RV spaces are available to travelers or workers. I stayed here for 6 months while I worked at the copper mine in Morenci. They have about 15 spaces +/- available. The park is older, with small sites and aging concrete pads but is quiet, safe, and well kept. The husband and wife managers are great people. Bathroom and laundry facilities are clean, heated pool and spa available to tenants also. Overall I was pleased with the park. I looked at all the other parks in the area and I was glad I stayed here. I would definitely stay again. We camped at Safford Ranch Mobile Home Park in a Travel Trailer.
