I found it a bit pricey but the facility was comfortable, clean and in town. Some sites are nicer than others . I stayed at #69 and enjoyed it. I will be back. We camped at Rancho Sedona RV Park in a Motorhome.

In town so it was a short bike ride to city center. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay. It was quiet and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

Nice place. Walking distance to uptown area. Good trees but no satellite through them! Internet was very good when it was working - seemed to be set up whereby the office got the bulk of bandwidth, which throttled it for the rest of us (but don't know that this is what was happening). There were times throughout the day where there was NO access and other times when there was 20G. No fitness center. Bathroom seems to be busy all the time. Only two stalls, two showers and two sinks for the entire park (two for women and two for men). Laundry is the most expensive we've seen so far - $2.50 to wash and $2.25 to dry. Slightly cheaper than laundry in town but still too much. Concrete pad for picnic table and gravel rig parking. We travel with two cars and they both fit but apparently that doesn't matter as they had us move one. Very quiet with the exception of the Harley Davidson starting up at 730a every morning. Can't they make those motorcycles less annoying??? We camped at Rancho Sedona RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Sedona is a great town but very tourist-filled. We've been a couple times, different times of the year, and busy. We were in Sedona for two weeks and did a fair amount of hiking. To us, it was mediocre. We are from Colorado so we are spoiled by amazing hiking. Sedona hiking isn't removed from civilization. You can always see buildings and/or hear traffic noise. Very beautiful surroundings, just not our favorite way to hike.

First the good part: The RV Park was very well kept and clean; nice mature trees with a creek running along the edge of the property. A short walking distance to to nearby tourist shopping. Now the bad: Very overpriced, lots of extra charges; $10 per extra person per night, $2 for each pet per night. These extra charges are unnecessary, there are no amenities that would be used by extra people of the pets to justify the extra costs. The office staff are very stern and not at all friendly, they go over all of the rules with you when you at check in, there are a lot of rules. They even ask you to sign a document stating that you understand the many rules pertaining to your pet. To sum things up, very nice RV Park but not worth the cost. We camped at Rancho Sedona RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great location can walk to Sedona. Right on the oak creek with the sound of the water running down the creek which is also connected to the back side of the park. Close to snoopy rock trail head and other hiking nearby. Very clean and well managed. Woodsy with lots of shade. A bit humid in July but still under 90 degrees and low 70's at night. Highly recommend for escaping the desert in the summer. We camped at Rancho Sedona RV Park in a Truck Camper.

This is a very good RV Park. We have stayed here before. Sites in general are well laid out. It has probably the best digital cable and wifi in an RV park that we have stayed. Really good. Lots of shade trees. Relatively quiet. They have a great checkin process. They have you take your site and then go to the office to check in. Very good. We too experienced the loud heron cackling through the night. They do have some interesting rules. We camped at Rancho Sedona RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Sedona is a beautiful area. The red rocks are spectacular. However, the city has become a huge tourist attraction and traffic is a major headache. But the park is isolated from all this.

For the nightly rate we paid ($90) we felt the park was extremely "overvalued" plus endless rules. You had to be inside your RV by 10pm (like being at school!!) All trees on site, ours had nesting blue herons directly above us so cackling birds all night, shame they didn't have to be inside by ten. Beautiful surrounding area but you had to leave the park to enjoy it so probably the local hotel/motel would have been better value. We definitely will not be back. We camped at Rancho Sedona RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rancho Sedona RV Park is an absolutely beautiful Park with nicely spaced sites surrounded by trees, green spaces and flowers. Every effort is made to assure guest comfort and to provide a peaceful, relaxing experience at the Park. The Dog Park is the nicest one I've ever seen at any RV Park, lushly carpeted in green grass with a nice sturdy fence and locking gate. My dog loved chasing his ball in the dog park and didn't understand why we couldn't just spend our entire stay in there. The owners provide extensive information on area hikes and attractions. Rancho Sedona is a lovely RV Park in a beautiful area, we will be returning. Highly recommended! We camped at Rancho Sedona RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful campground with manicured grounds, surrounded by large sycamore trees providing lots of shades (which also means your satellite dish probably wont work, but they have a very good cable TV signal). Most sites provide significant separation between RV's. Creek runs through the back which you can jump in if you want. Lot's of rules, mostly around noise and quite time, which we did not mind one bit. All sites are back in or pull in, but enough space to maneuver a big rig. Very close to uptown Sedona and walkable (about 1-2 mile round trip depending how far in you go). We camped at Rancho Sedona RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you have a big rig, suggest using I-17 and then get on 179. Avoid 89A from Flagstaff.... winding curves, and not big rig friendly unless you are into white knuckle driving.

After staying in sandy state parks in the desert without a blade of grass anywhere, arriving at this RV park felt like reaching an oasis. It is located along a creek and has trees, many green, irrigated areas as well as small decorative elements like metal sculptures. Numerous little boxes on poles held dog waste bags, more than I've ever seen in a campground. We reserved ahead for a planned overnight and laundry chores on the way to the Grand Canyon, but the atmosphere was so pleasant, I wished we could have stayed another night or two. We camped at Rancho Sedona RV Park in a Motorhome.

We try to come here every year. This is a quiet park located right next to Oak Creek in a grove of Sycamores and Cottonwoods. It is clean and very well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Many of the staff have been here since we started coming about 7 0r 8 years ago. It is about a 1/4 mile to Tlaquepaque, an artsy center with galleries, shops and several good restaurants. It is about a 1 mile walk/drive to Uptown Sedona, the tourist center. Only a few sites are satellite friendly although there is cable TV provided. The only downside is that the park is very popular. Unless you happen to be lucky, you should get your reservations early. We make ours a year ahead of time. We camped at Rancho Sedona RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fantastic location, close to the center of town. There are lots of rules, which are actually quite appreciated. My recommendation is to get a premium spot by the stream (sites 76-83). Warning, some sites opposite are under trees frequented by great blue herons, which have been known to leave "souvenirs" on RVs below. We camped at Rancho Sedona RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

One of the best parks we've stayed at! This is in such a great location. Our campsite butted up against the flowing creek; we could hear it. The grounds were immaculate and are maintained by a friendly crew. We stayed 2 nights and wished we could stay longer. After we posted pictures online, our friends want to come out too!
There were several rules and posted signs throughout the park. We were good with them, except No Campfires. The rules did lend themselves to a very quiet Quiet Time between 10pm and 7am.
If we lived closer we'd be visiting all the time! We camped at Rancho Sedona RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a great park. Walk to town to a bunch of restaurants, shopping and hiking. Even trout fishing in Oak Creek at the back of the campground. This campground is kept in immaculate condition. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is the wi/fi didn't work that great and neither did cable tv. Still it would be hard to beat this campground if your visiting Sedona. Verizon cell worked good.
