Overall Rating:

We pull a 43 ft fifthwheel with a Ford F350 1 ton dually pick up. This is a huge park of primarily park models. No dog run. and a long walk to the club house and pool and other facilities. Park is beautiful with lots of green grass and tall trees and beautiful flowers. Streets are macadam. Spaces are large and long. Short term RV sites are 30/50 AMP Full Hook Up on sand with a narrow concrete pad for a patio. Folks here are very friendly. This is a really nice park - just wish there was a fenced off leash dog area. WIFI is only available in the clubhouse area. No cable TV and no pull thru spaces for RV. We will definitely return. We camped at Paradise RV Resort (55+ Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We like this park so much that we took an annual site. Verizon is excellent. Satellite and over the air TV perfect. Internet is available at the activity center, we chose to sign up for Jabba. Sites are flat and large with patios. Roads could be better as Encore desperately needs to put some money into the pavement, which is the reason for the 9. Electric and water are good. All sites are FHU. We have two dogs and stay in the pet section. Lots of activities and good location for visiting the area. We travel in a 40 ft. MH and will be returning. We camped at Paradise RV Resort (55+ Resort) in a Motorhome.

Everything available in the area, Costco, Sams Club, Walmart, Fry's, Safeway and Bash's, Walgreens and CVS. A mall close by and plenty of great restaurants. Park has pool, hot tub, tennis, lawn bowling, pickel ball, exercise room, and many activities. This is a well run 55+ resort.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here six months from October thru March. This was our second time here, and we were even more happy with our stay this time than last. While this is an older park, it has full amenities and activities for the active adult, and RV'ers are welcomed by the permanent residents. It is one of the friendliest parks we've ever been in. The sites are quite spacious. We love it here and have already reserved next winter's stay. It is great for a shorter stopover as well. We camped at Paradise RV Resort (55+ Resort) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a full-service RV resort with amenities like a pool, pickle ball courts etc. The grounds are immaculate and the hosts at the front gate were particularly helpful. The RV sites are tucked in among aging park models and this is one reason my rating is less than stellar. The park is mostly older park models. We had one other camper near us in a fifth wheel. As a result, the residents tend to stay to themselves inside their homes. For us, it lost the sense of community you get when camping with others who are on the go like we are. The site was gravel with a concrete pad and a spot to park the car. There was no landscaping between sites, but the sites were fairly spacious. A $4 daily resort fee is charged regardless of your use of the facility. We were in town for spring training, so the location was good and our basic needs were met for the several days we were there. We camped at Paradise RV Resort (55+ Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park, plenty to do. Most sites are back-in. Laundry uses a card that costs $2 plus whatever you put on it. Only in $5 increments, and no refunds. No WiFi in the park, only at the common areas in the front. Very large library with DVD's to check out. A great place to stay. Lot spacing is nearby with a sunny/open exposure. Site surface is gravel and features a patio. We camped at Paradise RV Resort (55+ Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Rate is based on 1 week with PA, 1 week w/ TT 20% discount, and includes the $4 a day resort fee, and a rediculous 14% tax.

We were in site 1454, which was nestled in the middle of cute little park model manufactured homes. We had a nice, double concrete patio, with more than enough room to park our car, and truck, plus have a huge patio area.
All utilities worked well, with the exception of one day they we working on a broken water line. I think the whole park was without water for most of one day.
We really liked this park. As others have said, there is not grass in the rv sites, but you are in Arizona.
The people in the homes around us were very sweet and accommodating, and the staff is wonderful. This an extremely quiet area, and very secure due to the front security gate. We could hear the coyotes howling every night.
No park wifi, but Vz mifi, AT&T, Vz phones, and rooftop satellite dish worked well.
Navigating into our spot was a little tight, as it's 90 degrees of turning and backing, with a home directly on the narrow street, but it all worked out fine.
We will return with PA, or if we get a full TT membership, as this Encore park would only be $20 a night. We camped at Paradise RV Resort (55+ Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

Excellent park. Friendly people. This is primarily a snowbird destination park, although it is open to folks who just stay overnight or for short stays. Price is reflective of Thousand Trails discount, of an earlybird 6 month discount. FHU 50 amp. Good Verizon and Direct TV. All amenities. Due to the monthly rate, electric and propane are extra. Pet friendly, but limited pet sites. Large flat sites. We camped at Paradise RV Resort (55+ Resort) in a Motorhome.

This is primarily a park model resort that has rv sites intermittently spread around it...in between the permanent homes. The sites are level, concrete, and very spacious...but no picnic tables.

The office staff are very pleasant. The amenities are wonderful. Very clean, large laundry room. Beautiful pool. Just about every store imaginable within a 10 min drive. You won't have the usual "RV park ambience", but for a brief stay its great. We camped at Paradise RV Resort (55+ Resort) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This park is modern and well maintained and has an abundance of great services and activities. The common areas are beautiful, and there is lots to do. The customer service was extremely friendly and professional. The park caters mostly to winter residents in park models, so there was no wifi, even for sale. The spots for temporary visitors are nothing special, just a big lot. However, the parking is horrendous. Whoever designed the spaces has never tried to back an RV. All sites are a 90 degree backin off a very narrow lane, with park models on the other side of the lane, built nearly to the edge of their lots. Then, each site has a concrete "patio," not very useful as a patio, really, but they require you to be exactly adjacent to it when you park. This complicates the parking even more. On some spots, I noticed they had put light poles and trees in front of the sites, cutting down on parking options even further. A very nice employee helped me to park, and it took the two of us about 20 minutes (him in the blazing sun!) to accomplish it. But as horrible as it was getting in there, that was the only negative to an otherwise beautiful resort. We camped at Paradise RV Resort (55+ Resort) in a Travel Trailer.

Great park with so many activities. Very friendly staff and long time owners make you feel so at home. Lots of room and wonderfully cared for grounds. Two small negatives : slow internet and only by the pool. Laundry is very expensive. We camped at Paradise RV Resort (55+ Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

PA rate plus $3 Resort fee. Since one does not have a choice about paying this fee, it should be a part of the regular rate. Staff was friendly. Escort was expert in backing-into-site assistance. Sand sites level and wide, but rain makes sand sticky and annoying (probably not often a problem in Phoenix). No special dog walking area, but have to stay in pet area of park. Lack of wireless at RV sites, not waterfront and Resort fee merits lower rating. Would stay again because of PA rate. We camped at Paradise RV Resort (55+ Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Not a typical campground and your site will be between or near to park models. 90% of the park is park models. The park staff was super friendly, we appreciated escort to the site and our rate was Passport America in summer. Park was mostly empty due to time of year, but is very large and probably very busy when it gets cooler. Lots of perks like a beautiful pool, jacuzzi, library, huge laundry, gym, access to an on-site computer, church service on Sunday...all which were available even in off-season. Sites did not appear to be shaded and the hookups were way at the back of the site, so we needed extra sewer hose to reach. Great deal for the rate, and we would return. We camped at Paradise RV Resort (55+ Resort) in a Travel Trailer.
