The positive thing about this campground is the location: 2 minutes you are in the center of town. The CG is right on a street with lots of traffic, and you can hear the cars drive at night. The campground is well maintained. There are cigarette butts and dog poop around. Around the Office is metal scrap. The owner repaired cars. The WiFi, supposedly best in town, is quite slow. The rate of $ 30 is based on Goodsam. There are 50 AMPS. We would not come stay again. - Myrvisbig
Easy egress, gravel mostly level sites. The utilities are accessible and worked. Friendly staff with a restaurant serving great breakfasts. Three blocks to the OK Corral. Gunfights hourly. American Legion two blocks away. Stayed two nights. - darla's dad
Interesting little old park. Owners are helpful but the place is a little long in the tooth. Bathroom and laundry were fine, not perfect, but fine. We did enjoy our stay because it is a 2 block walk right into the heart of the action that is Tombstone. Super cool little restaurant on site for a great breakfast. Pretty eclectic and quirky but we can recommend it and, if we went this way again, we would stay there again. - Euri
The park is located 2 miles out of Tombstone, however they have a free shuttle throughout the day. Check in was easy and customer service was outstanding. The park is clean and well laid out. Sites are clearly marked and fenced individually. The grounds are a little tight for moving around in and the toads need to be disconnected. Overall a great experience. Quiet and restful. - sinnibar
Just outside town of Tombstone, situated next to highway US 80. The highway is not busy during night hours, so you may expect a quit night rest. Friendly and helpful owner tries to make and keep his guests happy. Inside the office there is also a small store with essential RV parts for sale at reasonable price.
The park has fairly large gravel sites. Due to the fact that sites has been enlarged but the hookup points stayed at the same place, you might need long cables for electricity and cable TV and a really long water hose (extension for sale in the office). The permanent residents live on the outside row of the campground. Some of them think the campground regulations are not for them, i.e. barking dogs all day and not picking up after their dogs. But let this not keep you from staying here!
Restrooms and showers are situated in an old, but freshly painted, building and are clean. Recreation room is better to be called a large TV-room. There is a nice small swimming pool open during summer only. The WiFi is good and fast, even at the most remote site of the campground. Free shuttle to town and back until 9PM. We had an enjoyable stay for a week. - Bluesbirdy
Super nice people run this campground. We had some issues with our motor home and they helped us solve the problems. They went way above and beyond the normal campground manager role. Sites are on gravel that is well packed; sites are spacious and level; easy to hook up to power, water, and sewer; super clean restrooms and showers; wide gravel roadways make parking easy; pull-through sites are abundant; the park is neat in appearance; laundry facilities are very good; rec room available; camp store available; wi-fi available; utilities work well. - DMW1837
This is more a motel than RV park, but the owner maintains a small, mini, RV park. It's very sheltered from noise and pleasant. Good, unobstructed access to both DirecTV and Dish satellites and the power and water pressure are both excellent. The owner, is very pleasant to deal with and will do his best to accommodate you. While the park is more geared to long term, its worth a phone call to see if they have a spot. It's only a 2 block walk to downtown Tombstone and all the fun that goes on there daily. - GregK
We have stayed here several times. It is right on the main street of Tombstone, within easy walking distance of all the major tourist attractions of Tombstone, except Boot Hill which is a little distance away. Verizon worked well there, so we didn't use the WiFi, although it was free. Tombstone is a really fun place, and we always enjoy our stay there. We have always stayed at Wells Fargo RV Park. However, be warned, it can become extremely crowded. The park is fairly small, and there is very little space between sites. When large rigs are parked next to each other, you are literally door to door. This gives you very little privacy and no ability to open your awning or set out a barbeque. They often have to share the pedestal and use a splitter to give each RV 50 amps. - TravelingAdams
The daily rate reflects the fact we stayed a month. Yes the sites are tight but the convenience of being right in the historical section of town is worth it. We were fortunate because we were put into a large roomy site. This park is old but very clean, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The cable TV was good, the Wi-Fi average. Verizon works great. We will stay here again. Highly recommend this park. So much to see and do while learning about the history of the old west. - rovingretirees
A bit cramped, and pricey, but staff was friendly and you can't beat the short walk to all of the attractions. - emmibelle
