We stayed with our rv group and had an excellent time. The meeting room was spotless as was the laundry room. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They checked to see that everything was okay each day. They are in the process of upgrading the park but the sites are dead level, electric (we had 30amp) was good, the cable was a little fuzzy but that seems to be true at all campgrounds. We had a great time and will return again either with the group or alone. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots to see in the area, Tombstone, Bisbee, Douglas, Coronado National Monument, Sierra Vista and many more.

New ownership and excellent customer relation. Free shuttle to the town of Tombstone. Large, clean, and level sites. Enjoyed our stay there. Yes, we recommend this park. From looking at the other parks available in town this one is the best in the area. WiFi is average to poor, dropped connection is a regular occurrence. Verizon 2-3 bars, ATT 1 bar. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots to see and do in a 40-50 mile radius, Bisbee, Tombstone, Chiricahua Monument, Douglas Courthouse, Sierra Vista, great starting point.

The park is located 2 miles out of Tombstone, however they have a free shuttle throughout the day. Check in was easy and customer service was outstanding. The park is clean and well laid out. Sites are clearly marked and fenced individually. The grounds are a little tight for moving around in and the toads need to be disconnected. Overall a great experience. Quiet and restful. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Just outside town of Tombstone, situated next to highway US 80. The highway is not busy during night hours, so you may expect a quit night rest. Friendly and helpful owner tries to make and keep his guests happy. Inside the office there is also a small store with essential RV parts for sale at reasonable price.

The park has fairly large gravel sites. Due to the fact that sites has been enlarged but the hookup points stayed at the same place, you might need long cables for electricity and cable TV and a really long water hose (extension for sale in the office). The permanent residents live on the outside row of the campground. Some of them think the campground regulations are not for them, i.e. barking dogs all day and not picking up after their dogs. But let this not keep you from staying here!

Restrooms and showers are situated in an old, but freshly painted, building and are clean. Recreation room is better to be called a large TV-room. There is a nice small swimming pool open during summer only. The WiFi is good and fast, even at the most remote site of the campground. Free shuttle to town and back until 9PM. We had an enjoyable stay for a week. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Tombstone is very nice to visit, especially during weekends. Skip Bisbee and go to Sierra Vista for shopping needs.

Nice hike? Walk the 3.5 mile 'Echo canyon trail' in Chiricahua National Monument.

Super nice people run this campground. We had some issues with our motor home and they helped us solve the problems. They went way above and beyond the normal campground manager role. Sites are on gravel that is well packed; sites are spacious and level; easy to hook up to power, water, and sewer; super clean restrooms and showers; wide gravel roadways make parking easy; pull-through sites are abundant; the park is neat in appearance; laundry facilities are very good; rec room available; camp store available; wi-fi available; utilities work well. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Take the campground shuttle into Old Tombstone and enjoy the shops and entertainment. There are shootouts, a historic movie, museums, and restaurants aside from the usual souvenir shops.

Great owner, park has been nicely rebuilt. Owner in continuing to improve the park and is starting to rebuild the restrooms, showers and TV room/clubhouse. The park has good separation between units which we like. Drive areas are nicely covering with a landscaping type fine gravel surface. The shuttle to town is available at any time during the day and will pick you up when you call, so it is very convenient. We have stayed in other parks, and this is clearly the best RV park in the Tombstone area. Our actual rate was the weekly rate, which is less than the rate we quoted. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

New owner and his crew (posse) are outstanding. Old KOA but sites have been realigned to be bigger. Easy access for motorhomes with toads. These people really care! Shuttle to downtown and back was wonderful. Easy access to propane too! We will come back here. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Allen St. is great, gunfights after dinner. Decent prices. Tombstone is a treat.

This is quite simply a great park when visiting the Tombstone area. We can't say enough about their owner, manager, and staff. Friendly, attentive, and very helpful. This park used to be a KOA and has been transformed since last fall into a park with wide lots, crushed gravel, and no dust. Everything is clean and organized. The park offers a free shuttle to town any time during the day which is very convenient. Town is about 1/2 mile away and when your ready go back to the CG, they there in 10 minutes. We planned on staying three nights but due to a flat tire stayed 1 more night. We had issues getting the tire off even with a AAA service tech and the manager offered some additional tools we needed to accomplish it. They do have a dog park. We would definitely recommend this park. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Shuttle is 9-5 Sunday to Thursday. Til 8 on Friday and Saturday

First the good. The park was quiet while sleeping. The check in was easy and smooth. The sites are a decent size.

But there are a lot of full timers and for the most part, their sites are marginally kept up. But there are lots of barking dogs and workers start their trucks very early in the morning and leave them running for 20 minutes. The full timers walk through your site without a thought to privacy. The bathrooms are relatively clean BUT extremely dated and run down. We were basically disappointed and will not be back. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Tombstone is interesting.

Very friendly. The only park that has enough room for 40 foot RV's. We needed shuttle late on New Year’s Eve. They went over and above to take care of us. Too far to walk into Tombstone but the shuttle works great, just not after 9 PM. If you want to enjoy the night life you need to ask, no guarantees. Nice pool closed in winter. Rec. center still being worked on. Nice park. New owner still working on it. It will just get better. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Never thought I?d go to Tombstone (has actually turned out to be fascinating), but arrived in the evening December 3rd, and pulled into Tombstone RV Park just south of town. I?m not a townie RVer?I need space, and this place has it. Spacious back-ins and pull-throughs, separated by kinda-cute corral rails. After hauling through the cold Midwest in late November, this was respite at it best. Hot clean showers, laundry, and big skies with mountain views. I?m in the hospitality business, so I know it?s people that make a place. There is a new proprietor, since September 2014, and he is the perfect RV park host. Conscientious, friendly and accommodating, as are the rest of the staff. I talked to him quite a bit about ?the biz?, and he has been working his heart out (the place wasn?t exactly pristine when he bought it). In fact, if you visit reviews on rvparksreviews.com, you?ll notice the huge difference in what people are saying since he took over. It?s amazing what he has accomplished in 3 months. If I weren't such a rolling stone, I might just stake my claim here. The monthly rates are amazing. And if you want to hit the saloons in Tombstone, just minutes away, the park has a shuttle to town (and more importantly, back). I totally recommend this place for short or long-term stays in Tombstone. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Historic district a must. Go see the rose tree....largest in the world, covers 6000 sf. Miles of trails to explore behind property.

The new owner is doing a terrific job. He is extremely helpful and friendly. The campground has great gravel on roads and sites. Sites are a comfortable size with longer sites for extra big RVs. New fences with little solar lights between sites make the campground look snug and welcoming at night.

There are several trails out back, great for walking or horses. also, a nice graveled dog run.

The bathrooms were reasonably clean, but new cleaners were coming on and I think there will be a big improvement. There do need to be a few more rules concerning what is allowable on sites. But, all in all, we really enjoyed this campground with friendly people and a great Christmas dinner. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Dollar store just down the street is good for sundries, milk.

A very nice RV park in the desert. All interior surfaces are red pea gravel which drains quickly in the event of rain. The sites are spacious and level, separated from each other with post and rail fences. Interior roads are wide enough to provide comfortable site access. Several sites have mature leaf trees which provide shade and there's landscaping with native (non-prickly) plants as well. The park is visually very appealing. There's a fenced dog run of a good size; dogs must be leashed but can be walked throughout the park. The restrooms were very clean. The facilities are dated but in excellent working order with plenty of hot water and great water pressure in the showers. Before we checked in, the owner drove us around in a golf cart and pointed out sites which would be suitable for our outfit, allowing us to select the site we preferred. There's a club house which he plans to remodel and make available for community functions; laundromat, heated pool. And a free shuttle service to Tombstone and back. We definitely will camp here again and highly recommend the RV park. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

  • Tombstone is a great little tourist town with lots to see and do, especially if you are interested in Western history. Also, it is close enough to Bisbee - where there isn't much of anyplace to camp, unless you can go with only 30 amp service. Very friendly staff. They offer a free shuttle into Tombstone, which is nice. There is a corral for those that bring horses, clubhouse and small store. We would (and will) stay there again.
