Overall Rating:

Tombstone RV Park and Campground is sufficient while visiting Southern Arizona. It is on the way to the Caverns, Bisbee, Sierra Vista and Tombstone. Pool is nice, showers had a bit of rust to them, and bathrooms were clean. The campground has small rock as their surface, and few trees, but there is few trees in Tombstone as well. Dog park is adequate. Good source of videos to borrow, as they do not have cable or arial service. Nice items to purchase in the store/office. They have drive thru sites which is important. I wish there was more shade, but it is a good place to spend two or three nights visiting Southern Arizona. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Nice park close to all the fun things in Tombstone. The park provides a shuttle if you don't want to drive yourself to see everything (driver works on tips, otherwise no cost). Remembering that this is high desert area, there's no grass, but excellent xeroscaping with a desert flair in all the sites, and throughout the park. Sites are level and large enough for your rig and for parking your vehicle next to the rig. Plenty of room for the picnic table and hanging out with the family around the campfire ring, which is available at the office with the purchase of firewood. There is also horse camping in a separate area. Pool area is very nice, opens early in the season, but is not heated. There is a fenced dog park - again, desert so no grass, but it is nicely done in typical desert landscaping so your furry friend should be quite comfortable using it. Park is easy in/out right on Arizona 80. Lots of family friendly things to do in the park. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Boot Hill Cemetery, Big Nose Kate's (rumor is what happens there, stays there), take the stagecoach tour, don't miss the Courthouse/museum. If you love history, the Earp brothers/Doc Holiday, and the OK Corral, don't miss Tombstone! And if you are there in April, do NOT miss the largest (Yes, Guinness World Records says so!) Rose "Tree" in the world while it's in bloom. It's spectacular! Also close to Bisbee (see the mine) and Sierra Vista (shopping).

No problems with staying here. We've booked for next year. Good management, good walking trails, good pool. WiFi is better than dial-up. Verizon bars suck, I guess due to location. Location is quiet, nearby town of Sierra Vista is excellent for shopping and eating. Water froze up three times even with electric hose. Electric high at .19 per kwh. Propane convenient but at least .50 higher than other venues. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice clean rv park. It is all gravel but not really dusty. It is down in a ravine so there was no tv reception. Park is handy for visiting Tombstone and surrounding area. We can't complain because we got the last available spot in the park without reservations but it was on the end and had to park the truck across the road next to the trailer dump station. We spent 2 nights and visited Bisbee, Douglas, Portal, Cave Creek Canyon Recreation Area and Chiricahua National Monument. RV Park also had propane. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park. Clean with hook ups just where you need them. Staff very friendly and helpful. Escorted to site and guide checked on electric before he left. They have a shuttle into town and you call the office and they pick you up. All sites were gravel but very large. Very quite at night. Pool was clean and open late for swimmers. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice campground, nicely landscaped and maintained. We had a spacious, gravel pull thru. The cable tv worked okay, not great, and the wifi was spotty, but we used our own hotspot without a problem. The staff were friendly and helpful, the laundry was clean. The mountains nearby make for lovely views and nice day drives. Old Tombstone is a lot of fun and we enjoyed our stay. It is also dog friendly, although walking areas are limited since it is not a large park. We would stay here again. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

First thing is do not follow your GPS as it will take you to the south side of the town. If you are coming southbound you will het the city limits and you start down a long downgrade. At the bottom of the downgrade the park is there on the right hand side: if you start up the hill following the GPS directions you have gone too far.

The park is on the small size and the spaces are tight. Don't plan on putting out your awnings. My 34 foot rig towing a car was too big for the stop and had to be disconnected. No over the air TV signal. ATT wireless was workable, 4G but not LTE service, and T-Mobile is worthless. Don't know about Verizon.

The people there are friendly and very helpful, they will try to make your stay a nice one. Overall a nice place if you are just needing a space while visiting Tombstone, not a place I would stay if I was gong to spend a lot of time hanging out at the RV. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Flat, level spaces which are easily accessible. Pull through site but had to disconnect as was not long enough For truck & 36 foot fifth wheel Cable service was grainy. Internet works wells. Good water pressure. Small fenced dog area. Verizon service was good. They have a shuttle which will take you into Tombstone which would be helpful as parking is limited. Landscape nicely for desert area. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

New ownership and excellent customer relation. Free shuttle to the town of Tombstone. Large, clean, and level sites. Enjoyed our stay there. Yes, we recommend this park. From looking at the other parks available in town this one is the best in the area. WiFi is average to poor, dropped connection is a regular occurrence. Verizon 2-3 bars, ATT 1 bar. The park is located 2 miles out of Tombstone, however they have a free shuttle throughout the day. Check in was easy and customer service was outstanding. The park is clean and well laid out. Sites are clearly marked and fenced individually. The grounds are a little tight for moving around in and the toads need to be disconnected. Overall a great experience. Quiet and restful. The new owner is doing a terrific job. He is extremely helpful and friendly. The campground has great gravel on roads and sites. Sites are a comfortable size with longer sites for extra big RVs. New fences with little solar lights between sites make the campground look snug and welcoming at night.

There are several trails out back, great for walking or horses. also, a nice graveled dog run.

The bathrooms were reasonably clean, but new cleaners were coming on and I think there will be a big improvement. There do need to be a few more rules concerning what is allowable on sites. But, all in all, we really enjoyed this campground with friendly people and a great Christmas dinner. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

After reading the other reviews, we must have stayed at a different park. This is a typical desert park. Our site was fairly level, we had a grill but no table. There were trees around. The pool was not available but it was April and it opened May 1. Area was clean as any sandy area could be. Hostess' were very helpful and friendly. We had no problems with this park and would definitely stay here again. If you want grass, better stay in St. David down the road. We stayed here in a 38' Bighorn fifth wheel. We camped at Tombstone RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
