The recent owners are terrible. Not helpful and not informing RV users of the problems with this RV park. No 50 amp available, septic opening for waste water is an uphill elevation. Impossible to get a good flow. Cable TV is good. WiFi is a charge and RV users are not informed of this. Another surprise. At all costs, stay away from this one. We camped at Adventure Bound Camping Resort-Tucson (formerly Cactus Country RV Reso in a Fifth Wheel.

We love this park! There has been a change in management in the last year and I believe there have been some changes since then. Management is friendly and helpful. Lots of activities and friendly campers Nice pool and hot tub. Paved roads Good laundry facilities Fitness room Large sites Trees! Quiet and clean Good wifi and TV Picnic tables Good location - desert all around but Walmart, Frys, restaurants and shops a mile or two down the road. Close to I-10 for easy exit to other places of interest. Good trails around the park Good rates We camped at Adventure Bound Camping Resort-Tucson (formerly Cactus Country RV Reso in a Fifth Wheel.

This was our second year at the park. The other residents made us feel as if coming home. Very friendly! The place is recently under new management as well as changed while we were there. The new management worked with residents to improve their stay. Size of lots need updating for new designs in trailers. We found it somewhat small for our 40 ft fifth wheel. Frequent activities such as bingo, movie nights, as well as cake and ice cream socials, doughnuts with meetings to discuss issues with the park. There are options to accommodate those with furry friends as well as not. Facilities offer 2 laundry rooms that are Cleaned and sanitized daily. Two 8 ft pool tables, library, vidios, pool and hot tub open year round. Surrounded by desert scenery yet close to Walmart and several resteraunts. We've stayed here before when it was under previous ownership and loved it. However, the ownership has changed as has the feel and service. Trash used to be taken but now you must take it to the dumpster (a long walk). The manager flies a drone over the park, stopping over RV's and campers for longer than he should (CREEPY).

To their credit, managers will guide you to your spot. After that, you get the feel you are only a source of revenue. We felt like the managers just do not like those who stay at their park. On the plus side: the people in the park are nice. The grounds are nice enough, and the air quality is excellent (except for when the management sprays weeds). This no resort far from it. Over 90% of the occupants are permanent residents. WiFi is weak. Most of the sites are crowded with belonging stored outside. Grass and weeds are high in some sites. Will never stay there again. We camped at Adventure Bound Camping Resort-Tucson (formerly Cactus Country RV Reso in a Fifth Wheel.

This place is way overpriced. I stayed 2 weeks and was charged different prices each time I paid. The office personal was not very friendly and even rude at times. In their favor, the park was clean. I was told the wifi didn't work. I will not stay here again. I would be more comfortable at a truckstop. We camped in a very small teardrop trailer. Camp staff very helpful about accommodating our group, putting me where I wanted to be, and letting us rearrange our dates. No help back-in. Many long-term snowbirds or permanent residents, most spaces reasonably well-kept. Did not feel unsafe or worried about my stuff, though I was aware people around me likely struggling financially. Bathrooms basic but clean and adequate in layout. Has a rec room. Grounds clean. Plenty of cholla (type of cactus) in the area outside the campground- watch your doggies. Gates locked after 9 pm, get a card if you're going to be out late. Many birds on the east side of the park where residents collaborate to feed them. Saw quite a few different species within a space of five mins. Wal-Mart with a good grocery just a few mins north on Houghton but otherwise you are a long way from town. Uber does serve the area however. We camped at Adventure Bound Camping Resort-Tucson (formerly Cactus Country RV Reso in a Travel Trailer.

The park is marketed as a resort, but does not have the appearance of one. Nice people, but the park appearance is rather aged and may have previously been marketed for long term residents with a collection of mobile homes also found on site. Front desk was very nice and helped with a car battery issue we encountered during our visit. Parking spaces are not angled (straight in, or 90 degree) and require extra care to enter/exit and driveways are not particularly wide. Power and water was good with no issues encountered. I would return if I was in a smaller rig (possibly a 30 ft), but a 40+ ft is not the easiest fit at this park. The park is nice for smaller rigs, but larger units may want to find elsewhere. We also stored ours at this park for 2 weeks for $20.00.

My experience here has been good. Staff is professional and courteous. I've been here many yrs I had to post this review. The east/west road leading into the park is in terrible shape....full of/numerous pot holes. I've asked manager to please fix/fill pot holes with no results. I'm a permanent RV camper at this park. Recommend corporate come and help site management to fix this problem. Thank you. We camped at Adventure Bound Camping Resort-Tucson (formerly Cactus Country RV Reso in a Motorhome.

I cannot believe this place even has the nerve to tack resort onto its title. I'm not sure if it is adventure bound resort or cactus county? Who knows both names are visible in the park. The place is borderline trailer park but not the nice kind. There are quite a few long termers with very cluttered unsightly spaces. The park is showing its age and the lack of upkeep does not help. Spaces are weedy with lots of debris from trees everywhere. The expensive 50 amp spaces seemed a lot cleaner though walking around the park. The walking trails are not safe to use due to cholla cactus everywhere outside the fence on the ground. The washers in the laundry room were gross. The WiFi works good though. Snowbird rates seem high for what you get. We camped at Adventure Bound Camping Resort-Tucson (formerly Cactus Country RV Reso in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed one night nice staff easy after office check-in. Looks like they have recently combined this park with another and ongoing improvements are going on. Snowbirds had left so there were full-time folks there, very friendly and helpful. Easy drive to service's and looked to have many large pull-thru sites. Watch out if you're walking you're dogs; the grounds are clear, but just past the property line many Choa cactus. Yes my dog Jimmy got a face full of cactus needles the locals were very helpful and gave us a map to local vet. Happy ending, would stay again. We were very pleased with this campground. It was far enough from freeway and railways to not have any noise at night. The park was very clean, well maintained and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The on-site facilities were clean and in excellent condition. We will stay here again. Nice park, secluded, and private. Gravel pull-thru with full hookups and adequate space, both in length and width. Picnic table at site. We were near the restrooms/showers/laundry room. Ladies' room clean with two toilet stalls and two shower stalls plus sink counter. A bit of a tight fit between toilet area and sinks and you must walk past this area to use the showers. Old, but clean. Husband said same about Men's area. Didn't use laundry facilities so can't comment. People in office friendly and helpful. Other campers friendly also. I wasn't able to use the park shower as they were doing some work and turned off the water, but when I peeked in I saw that it was clean, although old and obviously well used. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Adventure Bound Camping Resort-Tucson (formerly Cactus Country RV Reso in a Travel Trailer.
