An older snowbird park that has been well taken care of. Staff friendly and helpful. Park is located convenient to freeway but surprisingly quiet. A good location to explore the greater Tucson area. Will stay here again whenever in the area, We camped at Mission View RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

First time at this park. It is in a mobile home park near the rear. We stayed a month to explore the area. Nice size spots, all gravel and real level. Plenty of space between spots and plenty of room for your toad. The spots are spacious but the backing in part is a little hairy. They have put the hookups a little close and backing you have to be right next to the water to park. Pay attention if you visit there. Nice people and had plenty of activities to attend daily. No internet to speak of or cable. We really liked this little park and will return. We camped at Mission View RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

The park is older and showing a little wear and tear but the spaces are large and have concrete patios. The electric and water are good. The laundry is a great value at $1 a wash and .75 to dry. The pool is nice and the grounds are well kept. The work out equipment is varied and decent. The park is not in the best part of town but there is some security. They have lunches and dinners several days a week and some events like shuffle board and the Christmas dinner and the New Years party were good. The WiFi is a notch below dial up. My big complaint is the hot tub, one of the things I feel I paid for, did not work the entire month I was there. I tried 3 times to tell them what was wrong with it, and it was a very easy fix, but the management did not even have the decency to come out of the office to talk to me for 5 minutes. Also beware, the electric here is somewhat expensive. 0.2175 for first 50 kwh, then 0.1275 next 150 kwh, then 0.09 for over 200 kwh which would have been OK and reasonable but then they added an adjustment charge at the bottom of 0.03 for all 530 kwh for some reason???? that kicked the bill up by $15.90 which made it the most I have ever paid for a months electric in an RV park. We camped at Mission View RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

This is our second trip to Tucson and there is a lot to do here. Great restaurants, museums, historical sites, art galleries and parks.

If you venture to the top of Mount Lemon the restaurant, the Iron door, across the street from the ski lifts is excellent.

If you like local art don't miss Tubac or the art galleries on the north east side.

We were looking to winter in Tucson for the mild winter climate. While researching, for a destination, I cam across Mission View. I noticed it's location close to the international airport and called to ask about the noise. I was assured that "we occasionally hear some jets in the afternoon but it's not bad at all" I had asked because to get the quoted rate, I had to pay the entire 5 months up front. We had arrived on Saturday, were escorted to our site by a very helpful staff member and felt like we had made a good choice. Monday, when the office opened, I paid the balance of our bill. Tuesday morning at 05:00 we were literally vibrated awake by F16 jets from the Arizona Air National Guard that used the intl airport to train F16 pilots. When I called the office all I got was "you were told that the rate was non refundable. All in all, the park is nice, has large spaces is a semi gated community and has a lot of activities. I just feel misled by the noise issues. Would I return to the park? Only if I was forced to return to Tucson because the noise comes with the town. My rating would have been a 9 if we didn't have the noise problem or had been warned. Understand that this is not your usual airliner or civilian aircraft noise. These are fighter jets taking off in multiples with afterburners lit, it is very different than your normal aircraft. I rarely notice a commercial takeoff anymore. It is also at all hours, even 1 am or 3 am. This is the most affordable park in Tucson with amenities just be aware you will not get your money back if you can't sleep. We camped at Mission View RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Price reflects weekly rate with Passport America. Snowbird park full of friendly people on the edge of the desert. Wide sites, some shade. Easy on/off interstate between the mission and a big casino. Great base to explore the area. Will stop here again, great value for the money. We camped at Mission View RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

We were impressed by this park. Although a large park with a sizable mobile home community, the RV section has comfortable sites, a concrete patio, and picnic table. The facilities are extensive, there are numerous planned activities, and the residents are friendly and welcoming. The WiFi, as in most busy parks, had too little bandwidth and too many users, and was generally only working during midday. Excellent Verizon cell/data and very good OTA reception. A big selling point is the convenience to I-19 and the main areas of Tucson. The neighborhood north of the park is not the best, but the park's security is very good. The aircraft noise from Tucson International is mostly from military Air National Guard flights, and is not present every day. Overall one of the best parks we've stayed at in the Tucson area. We camped at Mission View RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

All level gravel with concrete patios, good hook ups, no cable, good OTA, spotty wi fi, strong Verizon. Wide streets and spaces. Indoor heated pool and spa. This is why came to this park. Not new but clean. Very nice office staff. Close to I 19 for easy access to Tucson. Indian Casino 5 blocks away, less taxes that you pay because of Reservation. Tips for other Campers:

Mission Xavier de bac, right down the road. Watch the Video first in a room with seating. Eat the Navaho Tacos that the Indians make out front around lunch!!!! I would go back just for that. Another good place. To eat he Imdian Fry Bread tacos and dessert!! Little place but good. Our second favorite find was "Bread and Butter Cafe". You have to go here. Open from 5am to 2 pm. Home cooking, plenty and reasonable.

Overall a nice park except Tucson Airport jet takeoffs from about 8 to 9am were very loud. Main annoyance were the number of unattended owners barking dogs as their owners went sightseeing. Good showers/restrooms, and wifi but a wifi extender is recommended. Very friendly neighbors in the whole park and a nice pool. Overall very good location for Tucson sightseeing. Staff is very efficient and friendly. We camped at Mission View RV Park (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

Nice wide gravel back-in sites with concrete patio, paved area for parking toad and bright night light right at door for front door motorhomes. No fenced dog park but overall pet friendly. Friendly campers with activities. Paved roads, clean gravel and concrete patio contributed to great cleanliness. Private bathrooms with sink, shower and toilet. Nice indoor pool and spa. Good wifi. There is cable but over-the-air seemed to have as many or more channels. Quiet within the park with security patrol during the night but some aircraft noise during the day. Back-ins are 90 degrees to the road and space between patio and sewer connection is fairly tight. Escort is concerned about sewer connect so can have you rub tires on patio if you don't have another guide on passenger side. It was in the 20's at night when we stayed there and bathroom interiors were pretty cool. Finding a nice, reasonably priced, pet friendly rv park during the winter in Tucson for a short stop over seemed to be a challenge but this park fit the bill. Rate was with Passport America. We camped at Mission View RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

We had planned to stay in Tucson for 3 nights, however we arrived at the park with a broken windshield in our motorhome. We called the insurance company as soon as we noticed the crack (Sunday); received a CSR response on Monday. Short story, on Christmas Eve (11 days later) the installers arrived with the windshield and had it installed in short order. During our unscheduled stay, the staff and volunteers at Mission View were so helpful and worked with us on a daily basis to extend our stay and make our visit a nice one. We found the park on RV Park Reviews and are so happy we stayed there. Nice, large lot with paved patio and picnic table, and convenient to many attractions. Definitely recommend and would enjoy staying in this park for a season. We camped at Mission View RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for 1 week using the Passport America rate in March. (Many AZ parks will not do that until April.) It is nicer than what we expected. The airport is not that close so any noise is usually distant. There are permanents here but there is an entire area for RVs so you are with other shorter stay people. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The indoor pool was very nice, again better than expected. The sites are large with cement patios and hookups are easy to reach. We would stay here again and would tell our friends to stay here also. We camped at Mission View RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

This park honors the Passport America rate for an entire week, so we stayed 7 days @ $19 per night, which was a great deal! The park is a mix of park models, some permanent residents, lots of winter visitors, and "just passing through", like us. The site was level, power and water were fine. The sites are gravel and each has a concrete patio. All are back-ins. We were escorted to our site. Some sites were kind of tight width-wise, situating the rig between the concrete patio and the sewer. So if this is a concern for you, you might want to preview your site. The interior roads are wide, so that's not an issue. This is not a "resort level" park, but they have a great clubhouse with an indoor pool and hot tub, billiards, library and community area. Lots of activities and everyone was friendly and welcoming. We'd actually consider returning for an extended winter stay. The laundry room was a bargain at $1.00 wash and $.75 dry. Park is located in south Tucson, so a bit of a drive into the main part of Tucson, but a nice compromise if you want to head south to Benson, Tombstone, etc. We camped at Mission View RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
