We have been coming here for three years and the place is going downhill more each year. There are many activities, a Woodworking shop, Lapidary, Ham Radio, Pottery, Pool and Billard Tables, Cards, weekly Bingo and other games Bridge, Texas Hold 'em, Cardo etc. They have Bocci & Pickle ball and one pool 2 hot tubs. They have 2 dog areas one is complete the other one was fenced in December and forgot about by the park since then with no safe agility training in working order. Now for the negatives. The pool seems to break down each year, this year it happened twice for a total of about 20 days out of service. The power rates are in addition to your monthly rate and are exorbitant including a ridiculous fee of $10 pr site each month to read the meter. The garbage cans are overfilled each week with mountains of trash piled around the dumpsters at least twice a week. Until this year you could always reserve the following year at the same rate you pay this year, if you stay three months and leave a deposit of one month for the following year. No more, now they will charge you whatever rate they dream up for next year. Last year their were 2 rate increases for those who own park models here. As the rates continue to rise, the park owner continues to cut back staff and hours. There is no snack shop, store or restaurant here. Food trucks come in about once a week. The first time we stayed here we gave it 10's, since then the overall rates go down each year. Even though we have reservations for next year, we may not return until the Cheap Skate Owner dies or retires, haven't made up our minds yet. We camped at Rincon Country West RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Our plans changed and we were lucky to get a place as this was the only campground that had 2 nights available on short notice. We checked in at 5:05pm and the office closed at 5:00. Therefore, we had to check-in at the gate with the guard. The guard was extremely polite, however, he didn't explain how to park on the site. We did what we thought was right and woke up the next morning with the neighbor's truck parked under our living room slide. When we checked in the guard said we had to go to the office the next morning to finalize check in and paying. I had no problem with this, but the office didn't open until 10:00am and we had morning plans. So we left for our activity and then checked in when we returned about 11:00am. That was OK. However, the neighbor had complained about how we parked. So we had to bring in our 4 slides so that we could move the coach over about 4 feet. The office has a flyer about how to park, however, the gate either doesn't have that or the guard forgot to give it to us. It would have been nice to have known their parking rules prior to actually parking. For such a large park it was surprisingly very quiet at night as far as people and pet noises. It is in the flight path of either an airport or an airbase. But, the planes didn't bother us. The streets are paved but everywhere else is pea gravel. All of the sites and all of the landscaping. Even the doggie park is only gravel. The gate is manned until about 11:00pm and even though it is so large, we felt very safe. We camped at Rincon Country West RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

I sampled several commercial parks in tucson this season and this was the best. Sites are average size for commercial parks. I was in #69, part of the dog owners area and backed in to rear fence with housing behind. I dont tow. This was the friendliest park I visited, absolutely wonderful people. Nice dog areas, a long walk bike path right nearby, pretty quiet except for occasional jets. Only thing I'd like is a way to get from one dog section to the other while staying within the park. I plan to come back next year. We camped at Rincon Country West RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

The nightly rate I posted is based on what we paid for the 2 weeks we stayed. This is a nice park, not to far from I-19 and I-10, but far enough away that you don't get the traffic noise. What you do get is the sound of planes flying overhead, usually during the day, because of the proximity of the airport and the air force base.

The people, employees and other tenants, are friendly, with lots of amenities, and things to do. The park is gated, with a manned gate during the day, and an access code, for when the gate is not manned.

The interior roads are paved, and the site we were on was gravel, with a concrete patio, and a picnic table. The connections for the electric, water, and cable TV are at the rear of the site, with the sewer on the side. One note, when backing in, watch for the sewer connection, as some of the sites are narrow. Also, we had to use our 5 foot sewer hose extension, to connect, as the regular hose was too long.

We had a tree in front of our patio, and they do not allow parking on the street at night, so we had to park our toad by the patio, putting it close to our neighbor's rig. We had some packages delivered, while there, and the FedEx trucks came right to our site. We would stay here again. We camped at Rincon Country West RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

A very clean, large RV resort style park. We camped here one week, so rate reflects weekly rate. Good Sam will not give weekly or daily discount. People were very friendly, laundry was excellent with three laundry locations. Pool was very nice, good rules on locations. You could wash your RV once while there. Attended a few functions, weekly activities. Grocery stores near the park were not the typical nice ones that we were used to in AZ. Had to drive to others further away, the close ones were a little seedy. The only complaint I would have is this is the noisiest park I've ever stayed in anywhere. Continuous planes going overhead up until 11pm or 12pm. One night we had helicopters continuously flying around and around at 10pm. Quieter during the day, so take a nap, you'll need it if your not used to the planes. Very good security w/entry gates, guards, high fences. Occasional food trucks stop to offer goodies for consumption then or later. Saw a Schwann's truck driving through one night. Weekly Farmers Market was small but very good products with the few that were participating. We camped at Rincon Country West RV Resort (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

We were pleasantly surprised to find an RV Park for people over 55. We leave our pets at home with a sitter when we travel, so we were happy to stay in the No Pet section of the park. We didn't hear any barking dogs.

We had planned to stay for 4 nights, but after the first night we extended that to a week. This is an unusually fun and social RV Park. Everyone was so friendly and there were so many activities. We play pickleball. There are 8 courts. We even got a free lesson. We are going to stay at least a month next time.

Check out their web site to see all of the amenities. It is a gated community with an 8 foot fence all around. They have 24 hour security. We saw some of the cameras in the park. I am an older woman and I felt safe walking alone at night.

It is quiet except for occasional traffic noise. I don't know why because it is quite a distance from the freeway. It is on the airport flight path, and we heard some planes. Some were military. They seemed to stop at night. I don't like noise, but this didn't bother me. We camped at Rincon Country West RV Resort (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice park, with very nice people. Unsure of exactly how many sites they have...but it is a BUNCH. Lots or park model homes. Lots of activities. Used one of the 3 laundries and it was clean and had plenty of coin operated machines. A lot of the folks we met, spend the winter here and have been coming for a decade or more. After two days, we understand why. We camped at Rincon Country West RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

A typical snowbird park with many park models, but a nice large area for RVs. Paved roads with some sites mostly gravel but with a concrete pad. Our site was concrete next to a lovely grassy area. Lots of amenities like spas and a heated pool. The restrooms in the NE part of the park are individual with showers included. We loved it here and would stay again. The park is well maintained and has many activities and clubs. It is in a good location (close to downtown, the Desert Museum, etc.). However, park security has become a serious problem this year with a large number of bicycle thefts (39 recorded with and estimated total of 50 to 60). Park management has done nothing of consequence to increase park security even though the county sheriff has identified the park as being one of the worst locations in Tucson for bike thefts. Be warned that if you stay here and have a bike you need to lock it up using hardened chains and U-locks. We are reconsidering staying here next year because we are beginning to not feel safe. Stayed for the winter season after a visit last year, and we were pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed it. Some of the most friendly people around, lots of activities to get involved in. However, the biggest issue was an ongoing problem with bike thefts, despite warnings to lock them up. Also, the continued air traffic from both the local air base & airport flight path made us consider other sites. However, this is still the best park in the Tucson area & we'll return next fall. We had a large pull through site with grass & a tree most of the season until we chose to stay a month longer, then we were moved to a gravel site with concrete patio. WiFi was slow at the peak of season, but best to have your own jet pack if you count on internet access. We will definitely stay again. We camped at Rincon Country West RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

We have been coming to RCW for 12 years. In most regards, it is a great park. Lots of activities and friendly folks. The problem is that in the 2014-2015 winter season, there has been an epidemic of bicycle thefts and management has been very slow in addressing the problem. My estimate is that over 50 bikes have been stolen. It appears that an organized crime ring is being tipped off by an insider and then coming in at night to steal the targeted expensive, high end bikes with professional burglar tools. Other snatch and grab thieves are coming in through gaps in the exterior fence. So if you come to this park, be prepared to exercise extraordinary measures to secure your person and property. We camped at Rincon Country West RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Our rate reflects the monthly rate of $679 divided by 30 and does not include cable or electricity. This is a great park with lots to do. I give an 8 because 10 would be near perfect and this place has some deficiencies. The worst thing here is the internet! Most long-term and park model folks use something besides the "free" tengo net which is slow and undependable at best. The 2nd problem seems to be security. During the month we visited several expensive bicycles were stolen several weeks in a row, with thieves cutting the lock cables. With this, the park seems more worried about people hanging a towel from their awning than addressing serious night security flaws.

All that said, you will not find a park with more activities than this place. Poker 6 days a week, ping pong, ham radio, shuffle board, pickle ball, lapidary and jewelry making shop, wood working shop, knitting, needlework, quilting a library, weekly entertainment, weekly bingo, hot tubs, pottery, swimming, water polo and aerobics and the list is endless. We will definitely be back and plan to stay longer and take more advantage of the things offered here. We camped at Rincon Country West RV Resort (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

Note: rate reflects monthly rate (does not include electricity). Large 55+RV park with many park models and dedicated RV areas. Sites are mostly gravel back in sites with large cement patio. Streets are paved and the park is generally well maintained. Washrooms/showers/laundry facilities are very clean. There are many activities and the park has a welcoming feel. It is located in an area that offers convenient access to Tucson's extensive bicycle trail system. Unfortunately it also appears to be home to an organized "bicycle theft group". Stories circulating in the park are that 50 plus bicycles were stolen during the winter season. Many of the bikes were high end bikes that had cable locks cut by the thieves. Management needs to conduct a thorough review of their security measures. As in many parks the free "Tengo internet" is inadequate.

Security concerns are making us consider not returning to park. We camped at Rincon Country West RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.
