This is our second time at this "resort". They have added two areas with cover that consists of solar panels. Now if you park under them and face west you have cover for most of the day but in the late afternoon and evening the sites in the back rows benefit not those parked underneath. Sites are gravel with a small patio with a table and chairs and a blacktop pad for your tow vehicle or toad. Sites are real spacious but there is a bit of space in between. There are orange trees at most sites. This park is huge and there is noise from the AF base but its not bad. There is an onsite restaurant which we did not try as it seemed to be lacking in service. The bathrooms, laundry and pool were kept clean while we were there. The dog park is huge and kept cleaned and bowls for fresh water for the dogs and poop bags are available. Our dogs loved it. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Our second stay here. Very clean and well maintained sites and grounds. Convenient to many areas to explore. Friendly staff from check in to grounds staff. Train noise can be a bother to light sleepers as I am. We will return. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Motorhome.

We pulled in a bit early and the staff was OK with it. I told the girl who checked us in how long our RV was with a tow car and asked her if we should unhook the car to pull into the pull thru spot. Huge mistake not unhooking the car. We tried to pull in and got stuck in between the hedges on each side of our spot. Since we couldn't back up, we blocked the entire street to unhook. We really like the dog park for the pooches. We did hear the trains quite a bit. It's a perfect spot to watch the Air Force jets early in the mornings doing their training. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Motorhome.

Pima Air and Space Museum was really great. You will need 10 days in advance notice to visit the Boneyard as it was changed the day before we got there.

Top-notch, reasonably-priced KOA! Very large park with great amenities, the best of which is a number of sites under cover - what difference in the desert heat! The only downside to the covered sites is that a roof-mounted satellite dish won't work, but cable with a limited number of channels is free and works fine. Good BBQ restaurant on site and small but interesting gift shop. Exceptionally well-tended grounds with lots of small trees and shrubs. Very nice patio sets on concrete patios. Easy access from I-10. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Motorhome.

One of the best RV parks we have stayed in. The only complaint this trip was that both pools were murky and closed. Staff attributed the condition of the pools to heavy rains. Being a pool owner living in Florida where we have super heavy rains that force us to frequently drain our pool, I am skeptical if the staff's explanation. However, the three nights were were there it did rain. The last night there we experienced heavy rains that turned the dog walk area near the front entrance into a pond. The Pima Air and Space Museum is very close by and worth the visit. Arrive early if you want tickets the Aircraft Bone Yard on Davis Monthan Air Force Base. Take the 22 mile scenic drive up Mt. Lemon. A relatively new Costco and Super Walmart share the same spread out shopping campus about 3 miles away from KOA. In the event the KOA's pools are closed during your visit, there are two public pools close to the by; the Sunnyside Pool and the Quincie Douglas Pool (this pool has a big slide and high dive and is adjacent to Costco and Super Walmart. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Motorhome.

Excellent grounds and amenities. Most sites can accommodate Big Rigs however quite a few are not as level as they should be given the overall good quality of the sites. Campground/KOA rules prevented us from upgrading our site to a level pull through. We will not stay here again in our Motorhome due to the lack of customer service. This is a beautiful park, well-kept with large level sites. We had table & chairs plus a patch of grass and surrounding by hedges for privacy. The wifi worked really well. The staff was friendly. It's in a good location convenient to the freeway but no noise. The only "noise" were the jets from Davis-Monthan which were very cool to watch. The only negatives were the smoking and laundry room. The laundry room had about 12 washers; 4 of which were out of order and the others were taken up by people who hadn't retrieved their laundry after more than 3 hours. We had to remove the wet stuff to use the washers as did other people. They have a great system where you can use a credit card to start the machines and if you enter your cell number it will send you a text when the machine is done! Although there is supposed to be no smoking by the pool employees came out to the area to smoke. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This RV park was a wonderful surprise! Many different types of sites to choose. We parked on the grass sites for our dogs. It was perfect! Best dog park we have ever encountered in our 11 years of raving. Staff was friendly. Extremely well manicured and clean. Will be back! We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Motorhome.

Near to Tuson, we visited the Tipton misleading site, the airplane bone yard, Suargo National park and the mission. All were great. We also visited Lady Days RV, next door, and La Mesa RV. Just looking!

This is not your average KOA. It raises the bar that they should all try to measure up to. Sites are spacious. Interior roads are paved. Wi-Fi and Cable available. Concrete patios with picnic table. Graveled pads and off-street parking. If the weather is hot, consider one of the sites under the solar panels as they provide nice filtered sunlight. One of our favorite parks in the Southwest. Always clean, well-kept, and all utilities work without a hitch. Good WiFi, and we especially enjoyed the pool and hot tubs in the early evening. It was the end of May, and beginning to get really warm. Highly recommended. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Motorhome.

Great park. Staff helpful & friendly. Sites plenty wide & long. Easy access to I-10. Most sites are pull thru with gravel drives & concrete patios with table & chairs. Paved roads. Power fine, water pressure a little low. Didn't use wifi. WILL return when in Tucson again. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice facility. The fitness room is really good...that makes two so far this trip that have really impressed us with the quality and variety of their equipment. Nice laundry... all the amenities looked good. WiFi worked well in my site, about 4 spaces down from the office. I suspect that it may even work well further out. My antenna was picking up multiple TV channels, but I didn't spend a lot of time exploring them because cable is included. Cell service was good. Shopping is nearby. Gravel sites with concrete patios- with table and chairs. All nice and clean. We had one of the sites with grass. That and a lemon tree made the puppy feel right at home. Refreshingly, I could carry my pup into the office at this KOA - that is welcome because sometimes you just need to pop in to ask a question or get something from the store. Our site was nice and wide, but as I recall from a few years ago, even the back-in site we had gave us ample width. We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Motorhome.
