The only thing we did not like about this park is the closeness to your neighbors. The pull-through sites were lengthy, but the RV next to us pulled in late at night, and in the morning we looked out our window and their slideout was only inches from our slideout...windows were facing each other. On the other side though, that person pulled up and it was fine because he was well away from us. The water and 50 amp electric was good, sewer hookup was in a good location. There are about 1600 sites in this park, which are mostly park models and homes, but where we were directed was called "the gravel pit" with no trees or landscaping. There were hundreds of vacancies, yet they bunched us together as I said, which I thought was ridiculous. There is a lot to do and the people were very friendly. The 3 pools and 2 spas were great, with one pool being reserved for adults during most hours. One pool is covered. One of the spas is also covered. There is a small bar and grill and store on the premises, and the happy hour was nice. The rates had just gone down for the summer, so even its the resort fee and all the extra taxes for pool, etc., it still came to $26 a night. Very hot when we were there, but with the 50 amp service we were able to run both air conditioners. We camped at Voyager Resort & RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here a week under our Thousand Trails membership. Only had to pay the $3 a day resort fee. Nice park. Large park. People seemed nice. Lots of activities and amenities (pools, pickle ball courts, etc). Some sites are gravel and some are asphalt. They escort you to your site after check-in. Power was good and water pressure was good. Would definitely stay again if in the area. We camped at Voyager Resort & RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Excellent amenities! Lots of activities. Nightly rate above is based on our 2-month charge. However, DON'T MAKE FRIENDS and want to come back to your spot for anything less than 3 months! They WON'T take reservations until at least after April 1, and they will give the spot to three-monthers over you, in a heartbeat. Never patronized a business that would not jump at the chance to have customers, much less returning loyal customers!!! Insane business practices. We camped at Voyager Resort & RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

LOTS to see and do in the Tucson area. Tombstone. Biosphere II, Old Tucson Movie Studio, Sonora Desert Museum, Titan Missile Site, Tubac, Davis-Monthan AFB (The Air Force's "Boneyard") and Pima Air Museum, U of A, lots of shopping, restaurant choices, desert activities, and even a snow ski area just north of town (extremely short season).

We stayed at Voyager for almost two weeks in our 45' fifth wheel while visiting friends in our old "home" from 30 years ago. While we didn't partake in the activities, there was certainly no shortage of things to do if you so choose. On the southeast side of Tucson, the park was quiet and away from traffic hassles. We loved the Happy Hour every day, and the food was quite good. Try the fried green beans! Everything was clean, and the annual residents and everyone else we encountered were very friendly. We really enjoyed our time here, and will definitely return. Rate shown is for TT/LT coupon for a week and 20% off daily rate due to being Leisure Time owners (affiliate campground membership that Encore has purchased). We were given a double pull-through and were able to park the Freightliner behind our 45' fifth wheel. We camped at Voyager Resort & RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Go north on Kolb road for multiple choices - grocery, Costco, shopping centers. Just northeast of the resort is Saguaro National Park - East. Nice loop drive, and admission is good for 7 days, so you can check out the West park too.

Disclaimer: We did not know this was a 55+ park when we booked. We booked 3 nights here in an RV spot to house hunt (moving to the area soon). I can tell you this place is not the place for short stays or overnight stops. It is a retirement community which also has RV spots. Nothing wrong with that. But it's website is a tad misleading there. It also has many of the same amenities a typical RV resort has such as activities, showers, laundry, even a massage service. The property was well kept and the pull through sites were fairly typical of larger parks. We told the reservation clerk on the phone that we would be arriving after hours. The very nice clerk assured me security would escort us to our spot. When we arrived, we rang security at the gate as instructed. The guard arrived, and told us we were not allowed to go to our spot until quiet hours were over the next morning and we would have to dry camp in front of the office even though we had already paid for the first night. This was definitely not what we were told when we booked or we would have gone elsewhere. The day shift security was extremely rude the next morning when we went to check in. We asked for a full refund and went to another park. We camped at Voyager Resort & RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Begin with some of the most friendly and helpful staff we have encountered in six years. Large RV/Park Model, 55+ park, paved streets and RV sites are mostly gravel/rock with concrete patios and plenty of space for parking tow vehicle or toad. 9 hole par 3 golf course. Neighbors were friendly and welcoming. Electric and water at the rear of the site, sewer near the middle. CTV $2.97 a day, found excellent antenna HDTV. This park is a fairly long drive to fuel, groceries and restaurants. On site restaurant (okay, but not great) and hotel. Long list of activities scheduled, including bus tours. We will return when in the area. We camped at Voyager Resort & RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The on-site restaurant was mediocre at best. Our dinner was scarcely warm when delivered to the table and pricing a little high. Shopping is some distance away, fuel minimum 4 miles. There are two COSTCO inTucson, Super Markets are 7 to 12 miles, depending on your preference.

Pool had bad alge with NO warning. Remedy was to load up with chems and not drain & acid wash. Cheap fix if you wish to call it that..... All day NO power! Park decided to do some maintenance to the power supply @ beginning of peak season??? Front desk/check in people are great! But, you can't help to see their hands are tied! GM on the property seems to not want to be involved? As a CEO of a company, my business would loose boat loads of customers with this service...... Perhaps the best years are behind it? Beautiful park and the staff was very helpful getting us into our space after spending 11 hours on the road. If you arrive on a Friday the restaurant serves a wonderful prime rib dinner. Make sure you stay longer then one night or you will miss out on all the activities they have to offer. We camped at Voyager Resort & RV Park (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent one night here because of the easy on and off the freeway. Huge pull through sites, but had to use blocks to level. The RV sites are in the middle of a very large modular home community. Didn't use any of the facilities. Price listed is with PA discount. We camped at Voyager Resort & RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

There are many benefits to large RV parks. Voyager is no exception. They have just about any amenity one might want. There are clubs, workshops, sports, shows and lots going on. There are also so many people that it's like being in a small town.

We had stayed previously at the same RV Resort. In those previous visits we really enjoyed being at the park. This time it was different. We ended up in the pull-thru section. Our site was level but our neighbor had his wheels up off the ground trying to level. The RV sites are so narrow in this section of the park that there is no patio. There is a small section of concrete next to your site that's no wider than a sidewalk. That's your patio! In other words, we had none.

We were reprimanded the first night for putting out our awning because it encroached on a empty neighboring site. The awning might obstruct an incoming RV.

That same night we lost electricity twice and the next day the water pressure was almost non-existent. We had registered for seven nights but ended up staying four. We would have to think twice before we return in the future.

The site fee is $45 a night and even though lots of activities are at this park, the RV site itself is poor. Having a patio and being able to sit outside is important. We camped at Voyager Resort & RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

This was our second stay at this park. The short-term parking is in a gravel field but the park has pull-thru sites with concrete patios. The park has lots of services, activities including 3 pools and an on-site hotel. The hotel is a good services if you are there for the winter and want a place for friends and family to stay when they visit. We camped at Voyager Resort & RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Mega size resort. Every type of hobby shop and activity you can think of and then some. On site barber shop, bar, and store. Sites are a little tight and there is nothing to isolate you from your neighbors as far as privacy goes. 3 pools, 2 spas, and an excellent well equipped work out room. Just a little big for our taste as it seems the larger the park the less friendly the RVers. Its probably just us. As a side note, we are seeing fewer Canada plates in the parks this year and it seems this is reflected in the park rates and the acceptance of PP discounts. We camped at Voyager Resort & RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
