This campground could use some sprucing up. The buildings, signage, etc. really look worn, but it isn't anything that a coat of paint wouldn't fix. The campground is for sale, so I imagine the owners just don't want to put any more money into the place. That's too bad because the rates are excellent and it's not far from the south rim of the Grand Canyon, so it's a good place to camp while visiting the park. We got good cell phone (AT&T) and wireless coverage (Verizon) while there. Also, the people in the office and in the restaurant were very friendly. You also get a 10% discount in the restaurant if you're staying in the campground. We'd stay here again when passing through the area. We camped at The Flintstones Bedrock City Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This park is at the junction of Route 64 and 180, about 25 miles south of the Grand Canyon Visitors Center, much closer than Williams. The price makes it a good value for the area. The staff were friendly and helpful. I didn't stay here but stopped on my way to the Grand Canyon for information. If in the area again I would stay at this campground. There is a Flintstone theme park, gift shop, restaurant, showers, grocery and laundry. Sites appeared to be spacious, on grass and fairly level. We camped at The Flintstones Bedrock City Campground in a Motorhome.Undo
