Friendly staff but the sites were so close I literally had to crawl under my neighbor's slide to hook up my sewer hose. The laundry was clean and adequate. I only stayed one night and wouldn't want to stay any longer. We camped at Tier Drop RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

We stayed here for one night while traveling through Arizona. The RV park was a very convenient on and off from I-8, so it met our purposes perfectly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were provided with a level, pull-thru site which made it very easy to set up and break down quickly. The site, and all of the area around the site, was gravel. I wouldn't want to stay long-term in a site like that, but for an overnight stay, it was acceptable. We would definitely stay here again, for a night or two, if we were traveling through the area. Not all that happy here. Site was gravel parking lot with very tightly packed neighbors. Needed to keep window shades pulled on both sides and back for privacy. No antenna TV. They did have an excellent pool. Probably would not stay here again. We camped at Tier Drop RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Great park full of friendly people. This is the second time we stayed her while just passing through. This park has lots of friendly fun-loving people. The office staff is always helpful and they always seem to have sites for those passing through. Last year we stayed an extra night because the pool was great and so were the people. This time we have to leave after one night but have spoken to many people in the few hours of daylight there, compared to many other places. I would recommend this for those looking for sun, warm weather in the winter, some interesting places to visit in the Yuma area, or just passing through. Extremely nice check in people. We have stopped here twice as an overnight. It is very easy to make this an overnight. Very easy big rig park. This is mostly a park model place, but lots of short term spaces too. The short term spaces are rock. There is a pool, hot tub, and other outdoor recreation facilities. This is on the other side of the mountains just east of Yuma. There are large farms in the area so some green. If spaces were paved and Wi-Fi worked well I would have rated higher. My wife got the Wi-Fi code but still did not work. We camped at Tier Drop RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Good overnight stop for us. Did laundry and the facility was nice. As can be expected many seasonals. The RV area is just a huge gravel lot with no site plan. Works as we just pulled in and didn't have to unhook the tow. If there was Wi-Fi we never found a server. AT&T worked fine though. Would stay again. We camped at Tier Drop RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a large park with lots of park models. We were placed near the edge with full hookups. No defined area at our site, number 39. No picnic table or other usual conveniences here. The pool and hot tub are beautiful. Good laundry facilities here. Our neighbors decided to set up their "party area" near the front side of our coach and partied on, but retired early, much to our relief. Quiet at night, with the same trains we heard when we were at Salton Sea SRA, but one gets used to the sounds. A beautiful desert area with mountains in the distance. Much more private than the parks in Yuma and much more affordable. We camped at Tier Drop RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $25.00
Our second visit to Tier Drop Park which has become our favorite stopover place on I-8. People in the office are top-notch and very friendly. We were warmly welcomed even though staying only one night. Our price was based on a special promotional rate for overnights. Lots of very neat and clean long-term spots (some with park models) with flowers and palm trees. A very large transient parking area with excellent, modern utilities. This is desert so expect a gravel parking area but it is very level and offers huge campsites. We drive a 45 foot motor home and tow a Jeep so we were very pleased. Would have been great for a longer stay and sightseeing. Wellton is close enough to Yuma and other attractions and desert recreation and has all the conveniences you will need. This park would make a great rally site for groups. Our only complaint was that it had already gotten too hot for April and we had to use the AC. A little shade would have been nice but never necessary until summertime. Great sunrise and sunset views. We will always come back going either East or West.
