Very clean, pleasant RV park convenient for trips to the Grand Canyon NP. The entire RV park is concrete with gravel between the sites. Well lit. Walking distance to Williams, and a great Safeway supermarket 2 blocks away. There is a dog kennel behind the office for those taking the train up to the park. Looked alright but we did not leave our puppy there. No dog park but a narrrow area to walk dog. We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Gift shops in a Williams were great. Restaurants average. It plenty to choose from. We ate at the diner which was pleasant. The Safeay market looks small but had everything we needed including ready cooked meals and a Starbucks.

Wow we really enjoyed our stay, this was the cleanest park we have stayed in, every person we encountered working at the Park, Hotel, Stores and Train Depot were absolutely friendly and helpful. Lots of things to do, there is a Brewery next door with excellent food, a short walk from the park to old RT 66 in downtown Williams and of coarse the Train to the Grand Canyon, we felt it was to pricey so we choose to drive. You have full use of the hotel facilities which include an indoor heated pool, hot tub and exercise room. There is a nice laundry room centrally located in the RV park as well as cable TV and WIFI all excellent. The prices in restaurants down town are expensive so we ate at the old DQ, the food was good and ice cream better at half the cost. We will be staying again. We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park, paved sites, good utilities. Great bathroom, laundry, and shower, among the best we've seen. Sites were paved, but could have been a bit more level. Right adjacent to the railroad tracks with lots of overnight traffic, and close to an intersection so the horns are always blowing. Good access in and out. Watch for the check in office across the street. Waze will take you to the wrong location. Wifi was great, cable was good. We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great stay. A great campground especially for the Passport America rate. Sad to see the big fire pit not working, but great to see the BBQs working. They changed the shower heads since last year, this is great! We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

A nice park that is clean, big-rig friendly. The roads are asphalt and the sites are spacious. The only issue we had was with the slope of the sites. We were able to level after multiple tries using blocks on the front of our rig, but felt the park could have done a better job leveling the sites. We spoke with other folks in 40+' motorhomes and they were all dealing with the same issue. The location is great. It is just a two-block walk from the Route 66 shopping area and right next door to the Hotel and Raliway. The hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub that is a nice size and a short 5 minute walk from the park. The sound of trains does come through the park, but it never disturbed our sleep. We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Convenient to Williams and the Grand Canyon Railway. The railway is a fun way to see the Grand Canyon without worrying about the drive and if that is part of your plans, staying in this park is definitely convenient.

We stayed here 6 nights to visit Grand Canyon NP and the Sedona/Flagstaff area. The park is a little under an hour to the South Rim Entrance of GCNP. We had a pull thru site which provided plenty of room for our 5th and truck. This is a well kept facility. The only downside is it is surrounded by train tracks on two sides which are very close. The trains were very active. Most every night and all thru the night the train horns would blow several times so if you are a light sleeper this may not be the place for you. Otherwise, good place within walking distance of downtown Williams, Safeway, and a brewery which is right across the street. We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Grand Canyon NP-took us two days to do the South Rim. We did some hiking in the canyon as well. Sedona is a beautiful town worth a visit. Take 89A through the canyon to Sedona-very scenic but not RV friendly.

This park is right next to the BNSF main line so there are trains and whistles both day and night. It is all asphalt and gravel and fills up nightly. It looks more like a large parking lot than a campground. FYI- The cable TV is not available if you have an analog TV according to their instructions. We could not get any cable so they sent a man out who checked the connection which was OK. It turns out that even though our TV is digital and 3 years old the digital tuner is just for over the air stations and not QAM compatible- a quick trip to WalMart for a digital converter and we had good cable. (We only ran into this situation 1 other time in a 3 week trip). I am not sure if I would stay here again but that would depend on what else was available. We'd call another park before making reservations here and they were booked and recommended this park. We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Motorhome.

High marks for location because it's right in Williams, AZ, walking distance to a Safeway and the old downtown and not far off the interstate. That score is offset by the noise from passing train horns at night due to numerous grade-crossings nearby. Interior roads and pads are paved with average spacing, no shade and nice utilities. CG offers coax connection to cable, WiFi (was sometimes hard to get connected) and 4G on Verizon. Also you have laundry, access to the hotel's fitness & pool, and they do recycling. Nearby activities are too numerous to count. We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice clean park. Sites are asphalt and level. Full hookups including 50 amp. Staff is very friendly and helpful. WIFI works well along with cable TV. A little bit of train noise but it did not detract from the stay. They have a kennel but no dog runs. Spaces are a little close together but not bad. Hard to find if using N Grand Canyon Blvd address as listed with reservation. Use the Franklin address much easier to find.

Quiet, family friendly RV park, occasional train on tracks, not enough to discourage park. Well maintained, clean and classy with a shuttle service to all areas of the Grand Canyon Railway & hotel businesses. Shuttle service is fast and friendly. Restrooms, showers and laundry are clean and in good condition. All services are within walking distance from park. Easy in and out of all spaces. Question how some many reviews are as high as they are. Sites are very unlevel as I saw at least 8 motor homes with front tires of the ground. If you like being woke up at 3 a.m. in the morning then get ready as from 3 till 6 you will hear trains. If you like people leaving at 6a.m. get ready as the site are that close. People constantly walking thru site . If you like all of this then you will be happy. Overall place could be a 10 if they didn't place some many site together. The place was not that clean except for the bathhouse and showers. Excellent water, sewer and electric. Cable was good and did not use Wi-Fi. Good place to catch train to the Grand Canyon. Finally if you decide to stay DO NOT GET SITES 313 314 or 315 as this is the sites that everyone uses all time of the day and night for the short cut to the restroom and grills!!!! Tips for other Campers:

This was far from the most difficult tight turns in a park I have ever navigated, but still when you are paying and rating a park this high your standards are higher. A bit confusing check in. Signs can confuse. I almost made the mistake of pulling on a 5 ton limit bridge by missing the turn and had to quick disconnect the car and back up. Then the arrows in the check in area were going the wrong way, and so on. But this is a very nice park and they charge a lot for it.

Easy access, wide roads and right off freeway so convenient. Very clean and all hookups worked well. Watch the step off as concrete if quite a bit higher than gravel and you could twist and ankle of worse easily. You can walk to the Grand Canyon railway, a must see experience. Good location.....a few blocks off of Route 66 and 60 miles south of the Grand Canyon. The railroad track was right behind us, so you could hear the trains VERY well. The park is clean and convenient exit from I40. Asphalt pad is about 4 inches above the gravel picnic area, so be careful when stepping down off of it.
