This appears to be a pretty old park. There are very few sites with full hookups and none of those are pull-throughs. The price we paid seemed high for a short back-in site with no sewer. The roads are narrow and the turns rather tight. It was fine for a one-night stay but I wouldn't care to stay longer. The wifi is inconsistent. They have a nice store with some cute gift items, and it was refreshing to find that a few of those were made in the U.S. I guess the proximity to the Grand Canyon is the reason the park survives. We camped at Grand Canyon / Williams KOA in a Motorhome.

This campground is NOT FOR MOTORHOMES. If you have a diesel pusher, carry an air filter. The dust is so intense, it covered my tow vehicle and completely changed the color of my rig. The site they gave me was so unlevel, my front to rear, including tag, we're off the ground. Not good for jacks. Many MHs had boards under their tires, some jacking them up 8" above grade. Since the campground less than half full we manage to move to identical site next door. Managed to get my rears on the ground, front in the air, I decided it was ok for the 2 nights, until the manager showed up. He said I had to go back to my original site or leave. I told him I couldn't level and he said "It's the Grand Canyon, dirt is what you get." Disgusting campground and service. Would it hurt to hire a guy and a bobcat to level the sites? Evidently they don't care. Read other reviews. If you have a camper or 5th wheel, maybe you will be ok. Still a filthy place. We camped at Grand Canyon / Williams KOA in a Motorhome.

Great park to head to the Grand Canyon south rim. It is a KOA park, so you get KOA quality. That being said, we had a good FHU pull thru site that was level with a fire ring and grill. Hook up connections were easy access and worked fine. Cable was not that good with few stations and not very clear. We used our Sat system. DW took a shower in their facility and enjoyed it. Good pressure, plenty of hot water and no charge. Our issue was the rocks the park is graded with. Seemed like lava rock or similar. Our dogs paws were a bit chewed up where he didn't want to go for any walks. We took him to GC national park and he was walking and running around with no issues. Back to the park, and he wanted nothing to do with it. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We camped at Grand Canyon / Williams KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

About 5 miles + from Williams. They do have a store there with some supplies, but not much else around so get anything needed ahead of time.

The facilities at this park are actually OK. The park was less than half full. We had one of their premium, FHU, pull through sites with minimal (less than 20 channels and NO weather channel) cable TV. Our cost was less that previous reviews because the season is winding down. The Wi-Fi was OK with just a couple short disconnects. The big problem for us was how un-level the site was. For the most expensive sites, the drop from right to left was the worst I have experienced in years. After 20 minutes of trying to find a sot on the sites where we could possibly get reasonable level, we gave up, We went back to the office and got another site. The new site had the same slant but was doable with a couple boards. The fact that they even assigned us the first site and then seemed put out that we found the site unacceptable, lowers the "service" ranking. 2 hours later they put a rental RV in the site we rejected. All you had to do was look at their Class C to see that it was on a terrible slant all night. The bathroom and shower facilities are completely inadequate for a park that is often full during the height of the season and has so many many non-sewer sites. In addition to the usual bath facilities in the main building there are several satellite bathhouses, but they are small and not all of them have showers. They did have a dumpster for recycling. We camped at Grand Canyon / Williams KOA in a Motorhome.

Red cinder and very uneven sites. Our self levelling wouldn't work without another 4 inches of packing on some of the legs. Junior at check-in didn't give out full info pack and when asked about visiting the Grand Canyon I was told to drive straight up the road! Laundry a huge disappointment. Not enough machine and they don't perform well. However the park is ideal for visiting the Grand Canyon but take a Papillon Helicopter, it's fabulous! We camped at Grand Canyon / Williams KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Our very first visit to the Grand Canyon and could not get into the National Park, so we found this rv park down the road in Williams. Beautiful town up in the mountains. The only downside was the Cable and WiFi were very fuzzy/spotty or just did not work at times. It was clean and neat and beautiful scenery. We camped at Grand Canyon / Williams KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This is a large park, all rock and gravel & not level. Lots of overnighters & right on highway going to Grand Canyon so always noisy. They had only a couple brochures available on the park & staff couldn't help with bookings. The grounds were clean but bathrooms were not. Considering the number of people using the facilities, staff needsto check & clean them

more often. This park is way over priced for what you get. We camped at Grand Canyon / Williams KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very good park for visiting The Grand Canyon if you can't get in to one in or near the park. It's 45 miles to the Grand Canyon entrance. The park is clean and groomed. Sites are iron ore type rock and are fairly level. Wifi signal is fair depending on where you are and how many people are using it. Park is busy. Lots of overnighters. We would stay here again if we couldn't find something closer. We camped at Grand Canyon / Williams KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice campground. Lots were spacious and offered some shade. Site surface was gravel and featured a fire ring and picnic table.

It was a little far from the Grand Canyon (about 46 miles one way) but very near to Bearizona, which was a fun place to visit. Our site was very spacious. Very family friendly. We camped at Grand Canyon / Williams KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Flagstaff was about 30 miles. Grand Canyon was 46 miles so it was a haul to get there. Bearizona was a drive through animal park with bears, wolves, bison and other animals. It had an awesome raptor show. I highly recommend.

Good spot to visit the Grand Canyon. The park is sort of like a parking lot but that's OK it is meant for short term stays, people always coming and going. Sites were big wide pull-thrus. Hook-ups were well placed and modern.
Would stay again. We camped at Grand Canyon / Williams KOA in a Motorhome.

I felt this camp was a bit over priced for what you get. It is an adequate stopover while traveling or on your way to the Grand Canyon (which is 55 miles up the road). Other than a fire ring and picnic table, there is no camping ambiance. Sites were very level with a split rail fence and small tree separating sites. We have four slides and had plenty of width. The roads and pull thrus were easy to navigate in our 40' fifth wheel. The campsites pretty much face the road leading to the Grand Canyon, so there is a lot of traffic going past during the day. We had the impression from the website that the office staff would help with railroad ticketing and Grand Canyon excursions, but they said they didn't have any information. The WIFI was weak and our AT&T signal was mostly out of range. We camped at Grand Canyon / Williams KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Plan your meals and bring food with you. The Safeway nearby in Williams is pricey and produce is not too fresh. There are nice restaurants with good food in Williams.

We stayed here while exploring the Grand Canyon, Williams and Sedona. Upon arrival we noticed a sign that due to the temperature at night the water would be shut off. That's fine but when they said it would be off from 7:00 PM to 9:00 AM we started asking questions. How can they charge for water and shut it off for over half the day? Especially when the temps weren't below freezing until after 10:00 PM. Obviously they do it before they leave for the night and turn it back on when they open up in the morning. Then once we got to our site I saw the spigot is heated so why would the water need to be shut off? Talking to the guy next to us who checked in shortly after us, he knew nothing about the water and no one in the office mentioned anything to him. So in the end, they didn't even shut off the water.

Sites are so close to each other you can hear everything neighbors say or do. Not to mention some of the rudest neighbors we've experienced at a campground. Even though many spaces were open they kept putting new check ins next to us. Over six days we had four different RVS in one spot next to us. We will never return to this KOA and recommend you look elsewhere. We camped at Grand Canyon / Williams KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
