I think that many of these reviews are shills. I would not return. We inadvertently booked a site with no sewage. If we wanted sewage, we were told that we would have had to drop to 30amps, and pay and additional *$30/DAY*! Even the front desk person said that this made no sense and called the manager/owner who confirmed. $30/day for sewage is beyond ridiculous. When we left we were told that we could use the communal dump site. We get over there and we were told it was full by a really surly staffer. Most of the folks were very pleasant, our site was pretty level and under trees. Showers were acceptable - we had to use them as we could not dump. Had an indoor pool and hot tub. Laundry was $5/load. We camped at Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Fantastic park for kids. Go Kart track, mini golf, bounce area, playground, sand pit. Lots of space to walk the dogs. Two dog park areas (although they needed updating and cleaning.) On site restaurant but was closed when we were there this week. We camped at Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We took our granddaughter to this CG for a few days just before she started 1st grade. With lots of activities, this is a great place for kids. The bounce pad, mini-golf, gem mining, swimming pool, "train" ride, and other activities keep the kids delightfully busy. The main entry road is paved, while other roads and sites are gravel. The CG is situated on the side of a gentle hill and the sites, all pull-thrus, are cut into the grade. The sites are not entirely level and leveling blocks are necessary. Check-in is easy and quick. Staff are friendly and provide an escort to the assigned site. Restrooms and showers are clean and well maintained. There is a large, well-stocked campground store and a grill serving meals on selected days. This is a large, very busy CG with high turnover and lots of children. Be aware that not all the activities are included in the price. Considering this CG was awarded the KOA President's Award, there were some glaring issues. There was a large pothole right at the intersection of the entry drive and the county road. During our stay that pothole was never filled, even though it would have taken only a couple of bags of asphalt patch to fill it. That was surprising for such a busy and high priced campground. The swimming pool had a cloudy appearance as if the filtration system was not working correctly. Other KOAs we have visited recently had sparkling clear pool water. Perhaps the issue was related to the fact that this CG has no local source of water; all water for the CG is trucked in daily. If we were traveling with children, we would stop at this campground again. No children, we would pass on by. We camped at Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We've stayed here 4 times in our 5th wheel and once in one of the cabins. We've done one-nighters and stayed for a week. This is our go-to place in the Williams area. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The park has a variety of options for any wallet ranging from tent sites to teepees to cabins to simple pull-throughs without hookups to full hookups to patio sites. Some are more level than others, but we've never not been able to get level. Indoor pool, bounce mat, go-carts for on-site entertainment and this is an excellent base for Williams, the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, etc. We recommend this park and will definitely be back again. We camped at Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed one night only. West bound ramp to I-40W was closed, so if you are in a motorhome headed west after leaving, you have to detour 11 miles east to the next exit to u-turn. Pretty campground under the pine trees. Very kid oriented. Check in was easy, escorted to site. Site was level enough. All hookups were good. Had to used portable satellite to get a signal due to trees at the site. Very dusty. We camped at Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA in a Motorhome.

This was our fourth monthly stay at this park. We stayed from May through June. New management has continued upgrading the sites and amenities. Most sites are under the pine trees. The only issue we had was dripping sap from all the pines. I guess every slice of paradise has at least one issue. The staff are helpful and friendly. They now have a huge "bouncy thing". Our granddaughter and most other kids couldn't jump up and down on it enough! We camped at Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here before heading up to the Grand Canyon. This was a great KOA although we did not stay there for long. The showers were clean as were the bathrooms. The pool and hot tub open after 9am. The sites were a bit unloved so be prepared to level. I would stay here again. We camped at Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Nicely laid out big KOA with concentric circle arrangement of the sites. There are 3 fenced dog areas plus trails behind the campground. Pool is in good shape. Clean bathrooms with push button showers and sinks. Our kids enjoyed the pillow, pool and trikes. We stayed at the Flagstaff KOA as well and preferred this one. Cost was 45 during week and 50 on the weekend. We camped at Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There are trails behind the campground including a short, steep one to the top of the ridge. ADOT are currently working on the freeway (May 2018), and the westbound exit is closed. You'll need to get off at Williams, get back on 40 going east, and exit on the eastbound side.

A nice KOA and definitely good value. Sites vary in size a bit and we were lucky with a fairly large site. Not much in the way of shade but some trees. It is noisy with the highway and odd train but not horrible. Close to WIlliams and an hour from the Grand Canyon. Liked the mini golf and all kinds of kids seemed to love the bouncy pillow and playgrounds. We camped at Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Don't miss the town of Williams. Quaint, fun and some good souvenirs. If in the busy season, pay attention to the parking tips at the Grand Canyon. There are other parking lots than at the Visitor Center and they fill up later. We got a parking tip sheet when we entered the park. Park entrance fees are good for a week so you don't have to do it all in a day.

We stayed here for 3 night to visit Lake Havasu & the Grand Canyon. The site was not bad left to right, but the front of the camper was way above ground so my auto-level was useless. Good place to stay if visiting Williams or taking train to GC. There are other CG's in town that are level. We camped at Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

September 29- This KOA campground is the most kid oriented KOA I've ever seen. Mini golf, a giant bouncy thing. (I even tried it.) A spot to "mine" for minerals. There was even a go cart track. (Don't know if this was free and if there was an added cost for it.) Arcade games in the game room. Quick and easy check in. We were escorted to our site. Our site was fairly level. Lots of pine trees abound. We had a site closest to the road but it did not bother us. Breakfast and dinners available for purchase. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Nice dog area with ramps for the dogs. (Ours wasn't able to understand the purpose of the ramps even after I explained and demonstrated.) A bit pricey for what I am used to paying but we would stay here again. We camped at Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA in a Motorhome.

This is definitely our go-to RV Park in this area. Centrally located near Williams, Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Sedona. Just an all-around great place to stay. Even stayed here in the snow one year. Lots of pine trees, squirrels and birds for the cat to oogle, and very nice staff. Only problem is that they close the end of October. Love fall here. Lots of Route 66 stuff in Williams. Grand Canyon is easy drive - about 40 minutes. Sedona about 45 minutes. Flagstaff 30 minutes. There is a Camping World between Williams and Flagstaff. Very nice Safeway in Williams. This KOA is on Circle Pines Road and is about 5 minutes out of Williams. Loads of pine trees, and lots of stuff for kids. They now even have Tepees that you can sleep in with yard furniture and a BBQ.

Good park to be near to the Grand Canyon. Lot of noise from the road so take your earplugs. The sites are VERY tight so really watch out when you enter the park or leave. The employees were AWESOME and really know what it means for good customer service! We are a senior couple but there were a LOT of activities for families, and the kids really seemed to be enjoying everything! Friendly place! Wife and I just finished up a 1-week stay at the Circle Pines KOA and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We have a 40' 5th wheel toyhauler and stayed in one of their Deluxe Patio sites. These sites have a paver patio with nice furniture, a gas grill, and a built in or portable fire pit. I believe just about all of the sites in this park are pull throughs. We had enough room for the TH, our Ram dually, and our Honda trike. All roads and sites are gravel. Utilities were good. Satellite is hit or miss depending on your site because of trees. Cable was excellent. Nice shop, a little diner that is open for breakfast and sometimes dinner. Indoor pool. Laundry with 5 washers ($3/load) and 6 dryers ($2/load). Great dog park! 10 minutes from downtown Williams. Half an hour from Flagstaff. 1 hour from Grand Canyon National Park. Note they are only open from March to October. If you're a golfer, try Elephant Rocks in Williams! We will definitely stay there again. We camped at Williams / Exit 167 / Circle Pines KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
