All open spaces with a patio. No WiFi. OK park for the money, main problem is noise. You are right next to the landing path at the airport. Because of this it is very noisy, We would not stay there again. Also asked at the office about posted activities and she couldn't answer any questions even basic ones like how much it it. No picnic tables. - newbies2016

This is an update of my January, 2016 review. Manager was very friendly & helpful at check in. This park has been purchased by Colorado River Adventures & effective 2-1-18 will become a membership only park. I was told at a CRA sales presentation that the park would only be allowing members of CRA, Coast to Coast, RPI, & AOR. Apparently there will be no public rates or spaces available after 2-1-18. The park is all paved roads & gravel sites. Power pedestal is located at rear of sites, W & S are on the side of the sites. Sixteen channel cable tv works well. There are no sports channels available. CRA was in the process of adding a lot of landscape rock & metal art around the park during our stay. Rate shown is based on a monthly rate that is no longer available. We would stay here again when in this area. - c lewis

Gravel sites, cement patio, WIFI is TERRIBLE. Don't depend on it. We had a tower on our site but no service. Tengonet says the park doesn't want to pay for more service. The park says Tengonet is no good. We have been in other parks with Tengonet and got excellent service, but never here.
The park was recently sold so is no longer a Sunrise park. It was sold to CRA. We still got the Sunrise benefits. The check in was friendly. The cable is OK. Gives a few channels. The sewer drains on lots of the sites are approx. 10-12" above the ground so to drain your sewer you have to keep lifting up the drain hose in order to have it drain. There doesn't seem any good reason for them to be so high. The new owners are doing a few things to make the park more attractive, but have yet to change the showers in the club house to make them "private." The showers and restrooms could use some better attention. - traveling

Very run down. Most sites not level at all. We had RVD14 which did not look level because it had an uphill and downhill to it with a very level top! It was also a corner site with palm trees and bushes so very nice. - Merry Camper
Jan 2018 - $30.00
Rate for full hookup is $30 a night, or $415 a month. No weekly rate. Longer term camping is in the ABCD sites ( reservations online). Dry storage of an RV/ trailer is $100/mo, outside. Rebuilding the park office right now, temp office near the day use area South of the camp sites. Good water, electric, and sewer. At site B55 the sewer is located at the center of the space, near the power and water. Good walking trails along both sides of the river; about a mile to the casinos, several fast foods, a Sam's Club and Home Depot. 4 miles to a Safeway. Airport is less than a mile. That can cause daytime noise in the summer when the Navy has primary flight training in Bullhead. Good fishing along the river, the park extends to the tailwaters of Davis Dam. Striped bass and trout. Fishing platforms extend to the river. A buoyed swim area ( no lifeguard ) and boat launch, as well as open swimming in the day use areas make this a busy area in the summer. - starsekr
Jan 2018 - $25.00
This is an okay park. $25 for W/E sites (no sewer) but these sites are furthest away from Hwy 95. Showers and restrooms dated but clean. Good hookups but no fire rings. This could be a really nice park if they cleaned up a bit. Five dollars cheaper than Big Bend of the Colorado and at least you get a view of the river. - MSSW

We stay at a lot of government campgrounds and love them. This one may be the exception. First, there are two kinds of camping here: RV park and Campgrounds (no hookups). 3/4 of all the Campground sites are blocked off and in the two loops that are open the sites are very small. Our 40' MH had trouble squeezing into the larger ones. There is a lot of road construction going on which is a good thing to see but there is only one road in and out and there are 30 min waits going in each direction. The oleander bushes really need some trimming. Verizon service is OK 4G for data but only 1X for my 3G phone. - rhianna
Dec 2014 - $5.00
$5 per night (using the Golden Age Passport, $10 without) was for a mostly level site that was surrounded by a generous area of sand/gravel and beautiful desert vegetation including large oleander plants, which offered privacy for each site. Each primitive site has a concrete picnic table and fire ring. This campground is located on the outskirts of Bullhead City where every amenity is available. Our site had a 360? view of the surrounding valleys and mountains. Lake Mead National Recreation Area offers plenty of outdoor activities including hiking and biking trails, rock climbing, boating, fishing, hunting, and picnicking. AT&T and Verizon service were three ? four bars of LTE. There were over 20 OTA TV stations and we received many radio stations including HD stations. - DD Rolling Ranch

This park is partly a mobile homes park and has RV sites as well. We used this park as a planned overnight stop and were satisfied with it. Personnel was friendly, facilities were clean and it was quiet in the night. The RV sites are all gravel and arranged in a circle with no trees or bushes so there is not much shade or privacy between sites. There is one or two grills on the lawn in the middle of the RV sites circle. I wouldn't come here to spend my holiday, but I definitely would stay there again for an overnight stop or two. Oh, there's also a store in the park down at the lake shore that has some basic supplies. - Chbronson
