It has been awhile since we stayed here and a few things have changed. First, the check in staff was new and confused. They were not sure about the length or amenities of the sites, so there was guesswork involved. Our first site was not wide enough for our MH with the slides out due to tree branches. We had to look at several other sites and finally settled on one that was water and electric only. Since it was only for one night it was acceptable, but not what we had reserved. The campground "guide" was a worker in a truck that would show you around, but was not too familiar with the sites either. He also acknowledged that the trees were in dire need of trimming. A decent campground, but I would not go out of the way to stay here. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

We stayed here as a gateway to visiting Meteor Crater. Check-in was fast and efficient. The park sits just off I-40 but away from highway noise. Train whistles blow nearby at all hours but, to me, are a welcome sound. The grounds are clean. The park is gated for security, a welcome advantage. Being a Good Sam Park, we took advantage of the discount. Our site was wide enough for slide outs and long enough for a RV and a toad. Level too. We would stay here again. Simple but well cared for park. Rock roads and spaces in very good condition. Very secure behind locked gate. Pull troughs are long and wide and enough room between neighbors. Very nice bathrooms and laundry. Utilities very good as well as WiFi. Quick Mart type place out front for checking in and basic food and other necessities. Five cents a gallon cash back on fuel and the fuel is the least expensive we found on I-40 coming from the west. Nice place, we'd stay again. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Although the park is located about a mile south of I-40 at exit 233, it is quiet and relaxing. We stopped here twice before for an overnight stay. This time we chose to stay five (5) nights and received a discounted rate. It has always been clean and well manicured. They have a laundry and recreation room, a store, fuel, and the most beautiful sunsets. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Park has good gravel driving surface, water pressure was 35 psig, voltage was 120 vac in my coach. There is gasoline and diesel fuel available at the park convenience store. Easy pull through sites, 1/2 mile from I-40 so there was a small amount of road noise when sitting outside and a fairly busy train track a little farther but no train horns although engine noise was audible but not loud. The park offers WiFi but is a bit weak unless you have a WiFi ranger or similar antenna for your rig. We have stayed here several times and will stay here in the future. Good park for overnight stay. Sites are level, utilities are stable, landscaping is lovely. Close to Meteor Crater tourist attraction and Winslow, AZ (standin' on the corner). Road noise and train noise do intrude. Wi-Fi availability is advertised; however, the system is inadequate to service the park. Difficult to access and the service is painfully slow. Easy off/on freeway and entrance. Friendly check in. Well maintained and manicured, good wide gravel interior roads and large gravel sites. No freeway traffic, Wi-Fi worked OK most of the time. Two large dog runs. Good value, we would stay here again. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

This park has no cable TV and no pool. It's a nice looking park that has very nice private showers and a nice fenced in dog run. The entry gate is constantly locked and is very narrow. One has to be very careful pulling an RV through it. The entire park is not satellite friendly as there are very tall trees surrounding the parks perimeter that makes picking up the signal very hard. The manager is bossy and rude and refuses to accommodate space requests, even if they're made in advance. The plastic picnic tables are cracked and the wooden ones have splinters. The hookups are in odd places with the electric being at the back of the space and the water all the way to the front! The sewer is in the middle. This park is all about looking good, but not about providing needed services. It's not a good value for the cost. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a very nice RV park. All gravel but level and large sites. All the facilities are modern and clean. Very well kept. Great place to stop for a day or two of sightseeing. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Nice clean, secure park. Quite a bit of railroad noise, but earplugs fixed that. 15 or so over the air TV stations from Phoenix. Vehicle fuel on site and nice store. Sites nice and level. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Though a decent place for an overnight, they charge too much for what they offer. The utilities are placed some 40 feet apart - with water at the front and electric at the rear-most section of the site. Sewer hook-up took two hoses connected together. The sites are level gravel pull-throughs, but absolutely no grass. Suspect that's expected for this desert area. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

We stayed here in our 40' 4-slide RV with tow vehicle. We used our Good Sam membership. Pleasant personnel and a beautiful desert park. Sites are long and wide with wide space between. Full hookups. Very quiet and well maintained. Wi-Fi OK. We would stay here again. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $38.00
A great park clean and I mean clean, restrooms were spotless, as were the sites. Close to the Crater, staff were outstanding. It took less then 5 minutes to check in. Would stay here again. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $35.00
We loved this campground! The price does not reflect the 10% Good Sams discount. Easy on and off to I-40 and close to the Meteor Crater. We stayed in Site 11. It's a gated campground. All sites are pull-through, with plenty of space for our 27' travel trailer and dually pick up truck. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The campground and store were very clean. We would definitely stay here again if we are visiting the Flagstaff area. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Restroom facilities are squeaky clean! Staff are attentive to the small things; water truck driving around just before 'rush hour' wetting down the drives to keep dust down and escorting later arrivals to their assigned sites. Larger trees would be nice but it is a desert after all. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
