Winslow address is a little misleading - park is about 20 miles west of Winslow. The meteor crater is about 5 mile south of the park. Many more water/electric spaces than full hook-ups. Two very clean off-leash dog parks. Pull thru spaces are wide. Showers are the best we have encountered -private rooms with sink, toilet, and shower. Discount on gas for rv'ers staying at the park. Store/office does not sell beer or wine. We'd stay here again. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Every park owner should look at this park to see how to lay out for space. This place is wide, level and easily accessible. Noise from I-40 is very minimal. Landscaped nicely. Well staffed, fuel and grocery, professional in look and operation. Meteor Crator natural wonder down the road. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This is a very nice park we used for a night stopover while heading east. It is close to I-40 and we did hear a little noise from our spot. Quick, easy check in and easy pull thru site. No cable, but plenty of over the air channels, WiFi was practically useless. Laundry is $1.75 per load, but does close at 7:30 pm. They offer discounts to Meteor Crater, which because of time couldn't visit, and really take care of people that stay there. If we were passing though again we would definitely stay. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Anyone looking to build an RV park could take a few lessons from this place! Incredibly well laid out and very spacious for maneuvering large rigs. Level gravel sites. Mature trees planted on the west end of your site so you get evening shade on your rig - great idea for in the middle of the desert as shade is a premium plus! Very close to I-40 but you experience minimal noise - it is almost equivalent to a white background noise.

The on-site convenience store provides fast check-in along with discounted gas/diesel for registered RV park guests, and discounted entry into the Meteor Crater landmark that is 5 miles up the road.

Easy access to Winslow so you can stand on a corner and take it easy should you be so inclined. We stayed 4 nights - went to Winslow, Meteor Crater, Painted Desert and Petrified Forest. Also, only about 30 mins into Flagstaff if you want to see that as well. We will 100% stay here again if we come back to this area.

Do note - the WIFI is included, but your phone will struggle to hold the signal. Laptop held it fine but the phones had a hard time. Still overall it is free and provided so I'm not complaining. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Great RV park, spacious, and very well maintained. Bathrooms and showers in great condition. Our site was a bit unlevel but that's not unusual at a lot of RV parks. We leveled our trailer without any problem. Wifi was great while we were there. Lots of attractions nearby. Wish they had propane for sale. Gravel site. Will definitely be back. On the way to Meteor Crater, sitting in the very barren, high desert plateau of northern Arizona, is this tidy little park with tall, green pine trees, big, lush Cottonwoods and a picture perfect lawn inside the entry drive. The office has a little store and a gas station, which is pretty handy considering how remote the location, and the staff are really nice. All the sites are pull-through, each flanked by a big tree on both sides and you have lots of rate options within the park. Some sites are 30 amp, some 50 amp, some water & electric and some water, electric & sewer. Each extra adds a few dollars. Our rate was at the bottom, I think, since we use 30 amp and didn't need sewer since they had a very nice dump. The restrooms and showers are combined into a half dozen private, clean bathrooms with a toilet, shower and vanity with sink and mirror. I did not use the laundry but there is one. This park was so well planned out, right down to a really well done pet walking area that I would have given them a 10 except for the fact that the sites are too small to set out rv rugs, chairs and tables and the concrete picnic tables at each site are typically uncomfortable. Also our site wasn't level without blocks and I saw leveling blocks in all the sites surrounding us. All in all, this is a beautiful park. Meteor Crater is well worth seeing and I definitely recommend it. I will mention we did make reservations and that is probably necessary, due to their small size. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

This park is obviously at the entrance to Meteor Crater, but the Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert are both within range and from here the Grand Canyon should be your next stop.

Reasonable RV spaces with very clean individual rest room/shower rooms. No problems with hookups and close to the crater. Would stay here again if in area. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Located right off the I-40, it is gated and neat. The staff that checked us in were very friendly. Our site was level with large evergreen trees between the sites. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Don't bother going to the Meteor Crater Monument that is 6 miles down the road. The $20 entrance fee was too expensive for what we got although it was interesting to see the size of the crater.

This place is a gem. Well laid out and maintained. Very secure. Excellent staff. Easy turns. Large sites. Utilities very well organized. Nothing near by but they have their own convenience store and service station that has diesel fuel. Quiet and away from the crowd. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Stock up with groceries but stay awhile. See the meteor site.

Rate included $2.00 surcharge for 50amp service and was water and electric only by request. Park is pristine, well taken care of. Sites were gravel, level and pull-thru. The park is associated with and well suited for any visit to the Meteor Crater. Some road noise due to proximity with I-40.

The staff makes this park. Simply outstanding in local knowledge, funny and cheerful. They really take care of you. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit Meteor Crater, 8 minutes away. If have not already done so, be sure to visit Winslow (approximately 18 miles east) with a stop at the Standing on the Corner Park. There are also some ruins in the area, didn't research or visit so unable to provide information.

Very nice park, clean and well maintained. Lots of dirt though. The dog run was the nicest and largest dog run we have ever seen. We would definitely go back. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Meteor crater is short drive down the road. Park is just off interstate, easy in and out. entire park is dirt/gravel streets.

we stayed here for one night. I was told that this was a good sam rate but it seems to be the normal rate. My only problem with the site was the electrical being at the far rear as you entered. I had to extend our electrical cable to its fullest and even then our tow vehicle stuck out about 3 ft. Since this was a slow season, there wasn't much traffic so it was okay. other than this, this was a nice overnight stop. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park with wide gravel spaces. Spaces are a bit off level in some areas and the electrical hook up is at the rear of the space. Water and sewer are about 1/3'rd in from the back and located well. Many trees that could block your satellite reception, but do provide shade and privacy. Discounts offered for many organizations and you do get a discount on fuel. My only complaint is the droning noise from the sewer system pump that is a low base and penetrates your coach in an annoying way. We were in space 24 which is close to the unit. If you want peace and quiet don't accept a space near that area. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Definitely go to the crater visitor center as it's very well done.

Long, level site with plenty of room to stay hooked up to the tow vehicle and room for our additional car. Roads within the park are very wide and easy to get around on. The grounds were very well cared for and clean, with the exception of the bathhouse - we used the one nearest the office while we were there, and one shower did not drain at all and there were quite a few bugs and spiders. (We went around 9 pm and that could perhaps have been the reason.) The park is not really close to anything, but there is a store/gas station on site with a pretty good selection of items. We camped here in a 42-ft fifth wheel. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
