We stayed for 2 nights as a stop over. Did not expect much but was pleasantly surprised. The service was quick and friendly. The park was secure, spacious, neat and had a good view. The sites were gravel as was the roads, but they had grassy spots with park like amenities. We received discounts to Meteor Crater Natural monument and also to the gas station. We would stay again. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Service at this park was terrible. One staff member was rude when we wanted to extend our stay by another day. We had already paid for one night, but she wanted to pay for it again in addition to paying for the 2nd night. The so-called "free wifi" is a joke. They tell you not to stream movies, and I was happy to comply, but they still shut us down because we checked our email a couple of times. The restrooms were very clean and the park was kept nice and tidy, but in my opinion, that does not make up for rude comments and attitudes from staff members or for shutting down an Internet connection when we followed their rules. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

We were impressed with the efficient check-in and loved the appearance of the entire park. The hook-ups were well maintained and located exactly where they should be. All spaces were raked flat and easy to get my 36ft fifth wheel into. The proximity to the meteor crater and Winslows Route 66 attractions make this a perfect base camp. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stopped here to visit Meteor Crater. What a surprise! It is in the middle of nowhere, right off I-40 and we expected a "parking lot". Instead it is a lovely gated park, FHU, landscaped, and immaculate. The weather got a bit too windy to chance driving so we were happy to stay extra days. The sites are perfectly level and large. Open view with pretty sunsets while looking at snow capped mountains far in distance. Would have given 10 but no amenities - pool, etc. very nice staff. Would definitely return. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

See meteor crater down the road - take the guided tour but be prepared for wind because of location. Stock up - closest town is Winslow 18 miles away. Walk old Rt 66 - unpaved next to RV park - history!

An overnight stop heading west in a level gravel pull thru with 30amp power and water. Dish is hit and miss with the trees, but we were ok. The park is far enough from I40 to be quiet. There is a store and gas station on the premises and they offer discounts to Meteor Crater. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

If you have not been to Meteor Crater, check it out. The La Posada Hotel in Winslow is a wonderfully restored Harvey House Hotel from the railroad heyday and the food is top notch. Some fun history here, also Standin' on the Corner is a must for your picture collection.

This is a great park for a night or two depending on what you want to do. Meteor Crater is on the road to the park and just a few miles away. Also the historic La Pasado hotel is in Winslow. This is a must see is you like historic places. The campground is immaculately maintained. Well kept up and the sites were large and spacious. Less than half mile off the highway and you would barely know it as there was virtually no big rig highway truck noise. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area and need an overnight spot to stay. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Definitely go to Winslow and stand on the corner. Walk out the South Gate of the RV park, turn right and walk down the dirt road (vehicles not allowed but foot traffic fine per sign). This is old Route 66. The view of the snow capped mountains is great and you can say you walked Route 66!

We were passing through, just needed a convenient place for the night. Were very, very pleased with this little park and will return. Very quiet, everything worked, level site, no woodsmoke, good security. The staff was friendly and efficient. We will be back. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

If you've never done it, take the time to visit the meteor crater. At the height of summer when many sites in Flagstaff and Williams are crowded, this would be a good base to explore north central AZ attractions. There is no shopping nearby besides the small park store so plan ahead.

We stayed in site # 24 beside the RV park at the very end. We were pleased with the level pull through sites & a dog park, laundry, private shower rooms if needed, Rec room & store. The park had security gates. The only negatives -no lighting in dog park areas & dogs can go under divider/fence in the dog park & a loud humming at end of park- close to dog park coming from the waste management area( no smell, just regular humming) we became use to it after the 1st day & also our site did not have a working landscape light. The negatives were minor. This is a excellent park for a pivot point to the Grand Canyon, Winslow & other must see sites. Employees were very respectful & helpful. Super clean & beautiful view of the stars & sunrise/sets. We stayed a total of 4 nights. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Check in was at the Service station. Laundry room and lounge were spotless, so I am sure the bathrooms probably were also. Site layout was real nice and plenty of space between sites. Had to unhook toad as site was long enough for 42 foot motorhome and room in front to park the truck. Chose to stay in W&E site only, didn't need sewer for one night. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Remotely located but adjacent to I-40. Staff is friendly and helpful (Thanks). After hours enter on the south side of the park, off the dirt road (Old Rt 66), pick a spot, and register at the domed gas station in the morning. The park, gas station/convenience store, and meteor crater itself are all owned by the same family.

All sites are pull thru. Everything is gravel, but neatly manicured with gravel "islands" separating the sites. It looked like any rig over about 60 feet would have to disconnect to fit. Water/Sewer/Electric hookups were well laid out, modern and neat. There are two GIANT dog parks on site. The low electrical "hum" that another poster spoke of exists. It's on the north end of the park, and might bother some. I couldn't hear it at site 51, but it was obvious near the dog runs. Overall, a nice quiet location. We would return. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice at check-in although took a bit of time as attendant is also running the gas station. Very narrow access gate area that they opened to let us in. Wide sites with easy hookups. Nice dog park area but very disappointed that it was not lighted at all (we like to be sure that all gates are secured and no issues with fence before allowing our pups to use) so when we arrived at 6:00 pm we had to use our own flashlight and park was rather large. A light would have been awesome. They offer discounts on park entrance and also on gas. We will visit the park tomorrow. Would stay again if in the area. Easy access from freeway. Park is easy on/off from I-40. Big parking lot for check-in. Park is gated (gate is not real wide) and the office closes at 7:30 PM. Once checked in, you get a gate code to use as needed. Our spot (#59) was wide, with trees between spots. We had a clear view of the West, very nice. You can see interstate traffic but we did not hear it. We would stay here again. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.
