Stayed for one night. Very easy access off I-40. Spaces and roads are gravel. This is a "big rig" friendly park. All RV sites are pull thru and appear to be able to handle the largest of rigs. Sites are spacious and level. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a week while waiting on estimates for damage repair from a shop in Flagstaff. The staff is excellent. Frank moved somethings around so we could stay in a FHU site for a week without having to move and even blocked out a couple extra days in case we needed it. The park is good with adequate space between sites, some shade trees, solid electric, and water. Sewer seemed to run a bit slow when dumping our tanks but it worked. Sites are level and gravel, sand, dirt, and dust. A concrete patio would make these sites much better. Wifi is typical campground slow but we got good Verizon 4G. No cable but local OTA stations with an antenna or you can use satellite. They have two good size fenced dog runs that are again - dirt, sand dust. There is a nice store and fueling station on the grounds and you get a $2 discount to see the crater. It is an OK place to stay a couple nights and see the local sites, but other than the crater, there's NOTHING here. We had to stay a week because everything in Flagstaff was full. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cute, clean, well planned park. The attendant in the check-in/store was friendly and very helpful. Discounts at every turn. 2 gravel dog parks, no thorns in the dog park but some walking to the park. Private shower/bathrooms. Wi-Fi was OK, chromecast didn't connect but phones did. Well stocked store, no alcohol. The crater site was a must see, lots of stairs and walking, wear good shoes. Crater staff was extremely friendly. We would definitely stay again. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed 10 days while exploring Flagstaff and Sedona. Roomy enough for our 40' and trailer. Staff is terrific. Helpful and friendly. Nice grassy areas here and there and a decent dog park. Staff rakes each site after person leaves so next occupant has a neat spot. Restrooms were clean. WiFi worked fine. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Winslow address is a little misleading - park is about 20 miles west of Winslow. The meteor crater is about 5 mile south of the park. Many more water/electric spaces than full hook-ups. Two very clean off-leash dog parks. Pull thru spaces are wide. Showers are the best we have encountered -private rooms with sink, toilet, and shower. Discount on gas for rv'ers staying at the park. Store/office does not sell beer or wine. We'd stay here again. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park for overnight or to do day trips. You can visit Grand Canyon, Sedona, Jerome, Meteor Crater, Winslow, Flagstaff and Casino by staying at this park. Price is very reasonable, facilities very clean and sites have adequate spacing. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Every park owner should look at this park to see how to lay out for space. This place is wide, level and easily accessible. Noise from I-40 is very minimal. Landscaped nicely. Well staffed, fuel and grocery, professional in look and operation. Meteor Crator natural wonder down the road. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park we used for a night stopover while heading east. It is close to I-40 and we did hear a little noise from our spot. Quick, easy check in and easy pull thru site. No cable, but plenty of over the air channels, WiFi was practically useless. Laundry is $1.75 per load, but does close at 7:30 pm. They offer discounts to Meteor Crater, which because of time couldn't visit, and really take care of people that stay there. If we were passing though again we would definitely stay. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Anyone looking to build an RV park could take a few lessons from this place! Incredibly well laid out and very spacious for maneuvering large rigs. Level gravel sites. Mature trees planted on the west end of your site so you get evening shade on your rig - great idea for in the middle of the desert as shade is a premium plus! Very close to I-40 but you experience minimal noise - it is almost equivalent to a white background noise.

The on-site convenience store provides fast check-in along with discounted gas/diesel for registered RV park guests, and discounted entry into the Meteor Crater landmark that is 5 miles up the road.

Easy access to Winslow so you can stand on a corner and take it easy should you be so inclined. We stayed 4 nights - went to Winslow, Meteor Crater, Painted Desert and Petrified Forest. Also, only about 30 mins into Flagstaff if you want to see that as well. We will 100% stay here again if we come back to this area.

Do note - the WIFI is included, but your phone will struggle to hold the signal. Laptop held it fine but the phones had a hard time. Still overall it is free and provided so I'm not complaining. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Great RV park, spacious, and very well maintained. Bathrooms and showers in great condition. Our site was a bit unlevel but that's not unusual at a lot of RV parks. We leveled our trailer without any problem. Wifi was great while we were there. Lots of attractions nearby. Wish they had propane for sale. Gravel site. Will definitely be back. On the way to Meteor Crater, sitting in the very barren, high desert plateau of northern Arizona, is this tidy little park with tall, green pine trees, big, lush Cottonwoods and a picture perfect lawn inside the entry drive. The office has a little store and a gas station, which is pretty handy considering how remote the location, and the staff are really nice. All the sites are pull-through, each flanked by a big tree on both sides and you have lots of rate options within the park. Some sites are 30 amp, some 50 amp, some water & electric and some water, electric & sewer. Each extra adds a few dollars. Our rate was at the bottom, I think, since we use 30 amp and didn't need sewer since they had a very nice dump. The restrooms and showers are combined into a half dozen private, clean bathrooms with a toilet, shower and vanity with sink and mirror. I did not use the laundry but there is one. This park was so well planned out, right down to a really well done pet walking area that I would have given them a 10 except for the fact that the sites are too small to set out rv rugs, chairs and tables and the concrete picnic tables at each site are typically uncomfortable. Also our site wasn't level without blocks and I saw leveling blocks in all the sites surrounding us. All in all, this is a beautiful park. Meteor Crater is well worth seeing and I definitely recommend it. I will mention we did make reservations and that is probably necessary, due to their small size. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
