Check in was at the Service station. Laundry room and lounge were spotless, so I am sure the bathrooms probably were also. Site layout was real nice and plenty of space between sites. Had to unhook toad as site was long enough for 42 foot motorhome and room in front to park the truck. Chose to stay in W&E site only, didn't need sewer for one night. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Remotely located but adjacent to I-40. Staff is friendly and helpful (Thanks). After hours enter on the south side of the park, off the dirt road (Old Rt 66), pick a spot, and register at the domed gas station in the morning. The park, gas station/convenience store, and meteor crater itself are all owned by the same family.

All sites are pull thru. Everything is gravel, but neatly manicured with gravel "islands" separating the sites. It looked like any rig over about 60 feet would have to disconnect to fit. Water/Sewer/Electric hookups were well laid out, modern and neat. There are two GIANT dog parks on site. The low electrical "hum" that another poster spoke of exists. It's on the north end of the park, and might bother some. I couldn't hear it at site 51, but it was obvious near the dog runs. Overall, a nice quiet location. We would return. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice at check-in although took a bit of time as attendant is also running the gas station. Very narrow access gate area that they opened to let us in. Wide sites with easy hookups. Nice dog park area but very disappointed that it was not lighted at all (we like to be sure that all gates are secured and no issues with fence before allowing our pups to use) so when we arrived at 6:00 pm we had to use our own flashlight and park was rather large. A light would have been awesome. They offer discounts on park entrance and also on gas. We will visit the park tomorrow. Would stay again if in the area. Easy access from freeway. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Park is easy on/off from I-40. Big parking lot for check-in. Park is gated (gate is not real wide) and the office closes at 7:30 PM. Once checked in, you get a gate code to use as needed. Our spot (#59) was wide, with trees between spots. We had a clear view of the West, very nice. You can see interstate traffic but we did not hear it. We would stay here again. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Excellent park with spacious gravel sites that are long and level. All sites are pull thru and can be FHU or electric and water only. Gated access. Two dog parks. No cable but plenty of station available with your antenna. Picnic table at each site. Gas station/convenience store on site. Close to Meteor Crater Historic Site. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is one of the nicest parks we have stayed at. Multiple individual bathrooms were very comfortable but hot water and water pressure were better in the newer north building. We were in site 15 and had good sat tv service as well as 27 local tv stations. Sites are very good size and park is large. Nice grassy picnic areas and welcome shade. Good dump station too. Kind, competent staff and gas station/convenience store on premises. Altitude 5600 feet so can get below freezing in Nov. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Meteor crater 5 mi south of park/I40 is touristy and very expensive ($18/adults) for what you get. A real cash cow for family owners. If you are there on Thanksgiving, make a reservation at La Posada Hotel about 20 mi east in Winslow (or eat in the bar!) It is a little pricey at $28 but very tasty and hotel history is interesting.

Very nice RV park pretty much in the middle of nowhere. Many sites have only water and electric but there seems to be at least a row of pull thru sites with sewer connections. The place is nicely landscaped (for a desert RV park) with some trees. The park is gated and secure. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

First time we stayed here I thought it was a great place. We stayed here in early October and were assigned a spot at the end or south side of the park. There is some sort of a utility fixture there that sporadically and loudly hums and vibrates all night. That plus a lot of early morning train noise made for a long night. We got a 40' coach towing a CRV and the pad was long enough to to stay hooked up But I did run over the wood borders to get out of the spot. Stay up towards the club house if you can. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Meteor Crater RV Park worked well for us as an overnight stop between Albuquerque, NM and the Phoenix, AZ area. The park is laid out well and we had enough room in our site to leave our tow vehicle hooked up. When we checked in, which must be done at the adjacent gas station, there was only one staff member trying to handle all the traffic for both businesses. The RV park entry gate had to be remotely operated from the gas station and appeared to be somewhat narrow for big rigs. We did not have any trouble getting through however. Park WiFi was pretty typically slow, so we utilized our Verizon phone hot spot sucessfully. TV was antenae only, but worked pretty well for such a remote location. We were able to pick up 4 to 5 digital channels. Our site was attractive and featured several small shade trees. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

THis is a nice park with a convenient location being right off I40. There is a large parking area for check ins, which most places do not have. THe staff in the office/gas station/convenience store are a bit overwhelmed when they have store customers plus check ins. Maybe we just caught them at a time they were short on staff. The store and gas station are handy. Park is nice with wide enough roads for big rigs to maneuver. Our pull through was wider and longer than average. The meteor Crater itself is 4 miles down the road and definitely worth the visit. We will certainly stay here again. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.
