We stopped here for one night. The rate we paid is for 50 amp service, which is $2 extra, and the Good Sam Discount. The park is right off of I-40, with easy access to the highway. The park is partially gated, with an entry gate at the office, which is located in the Mobil station. There is also an entry and exit that lead to the dirt road south of the park. The interior roads and sites were gravel, and it looks like all the sites have trees. The wi-fi worked well, as did the satellite and OTA TV. We didn't use our cell phones, but we did notice that we had a strong signal. The connections were easy to locate and had no problems getting connected. We only had electric and water. We would stay here again overnight. If we could get full hook-ups, we would stay longer, to explore the area. When staying here, you get a discount on fuel and to Meteor Crater. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here one night while en route to Grand Canyon National Park. I spotted this campground/RV park a year ago and it looked nice. Pretty secure as a pass code to open the main gate is required. We got an end site and that gave us more room. Friendly staff. Well stocked store and gas station is on premises. Well-maintained facilities and sites. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 2 nights in a pull-through site. We stayed here so we could see the meteor crater. It was awesome! It was full every night but very quiet. They have a nice little store. Staff was friendly and helpful. The sky was so dark you could a million stars. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

September 28- This place is truly an oasis in the desert for a weary traveler. Trees, well maintained lawns and grounds. Level sites. A large dog exercise area. Rec room with a big screen tv and a Foosball table. Clean individual bathrooms with showers. They provided $2 discount coupons to the Meteor Crater just a few miles to the south of the RV park. .05 discount/gallon on fuel for your rig. We would stay here again. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

One of the best maintained parks we have stayed in. Clean, organized and well managed. Utilities in good shape. Nice convenience store onsite. Staff was friendly and efficient. Only issue were trains at least hourly. A nice park if you want to get away. Almost 5 stars but.... those trains. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

They gave us a pull through W/E only FHU sites were all booked. Dump station available. Some grass and small trees. Views of the mountains. Sites are level and gravel with stone sitting areas and picnic tables = dusty. There's a small store and clean individual bathrooms with showers. They have 2 dog runs. Wifi and Verizon good. Gated with entrance code. Free coffee. A few nice tent spots. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park would be a 10 if they had cable. You can only get about 5 air channels, and they were spotty at best. However, that said, this is a great park. A few miles from Meteor Crater, which is a must see. Right off Highway 40 with easy on and off, spaces are large, long enough for our 36-foot 5th wheel and truck, which we didn't disconnect. Only stayed one night, but stars are amazing. We had to level a bit, but only one block high. Just a really great place to stay for a few days or overnight. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Picked this RV Park because we wanted to visit the crater, which was just 5 miles up the road. Check in was easy and quick. Discount tickets were provided. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, but the one the next morning, was the opposite...felt like we were bothering her. Mobil gas station on site and they give a discount to those who stay in the park. Site was fairly level gravel. Electric was fine but water pressure was a bit low. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

A great park. Every site is a huge pull through. Although they are limited in the smaller number of sites for full hookups, the rest of the sites have water and power but you have to use the dump station on the way out. Very spacious and always nice to stop at. Good internet, you can get lots of tv channels on your antenna. Quick and easy access from the freeway, which you can hear, but it's far enough away to dampen the sound. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a good place to overnight. Aside from Meteor Crater and a gas station, there is little for miles. The park has gravel roads and sites with the sites of average width There is a large dog area. My problem was with the staff. There was a tree in the way of my satellite. They refused to let us move despite many open sites. I turned the coach around in the site to avoid the tree and the security man said they didn't want the coach in backwards. Since I was only staying one night, I was finally allowed to stay in backwards. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Right in the middle of basically nowhere is this excellent park. I-40 has exit there, so access quite easy. Large spaces, good utilities and good scenery make this park good to stay at, but the bathrooms are the icing on the cake. Individual lockable compartments with a shower, toilet, and sink are a real pleasure to use. Only drawback is that each compartment could be cleaned a little better, but they are still one of the best around. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Go stand on the corner in Winslow, Arizona. This town about 15 miles east of park. A little touristy, but provides good opportunities for shopping, eating, gas, etc. Good buffet at casino a few miles west of park towards Winona.

We stayed here for one week in September. The best part (for us) was walking with the dogs and exploring old route 66. We liked the individual bathroom / showers, and we really loved the apple tree (pick your own!) The management was helpful in every way. The location was off of 40 so a bit noisy, but we got used to it. Gorgeous sunsets. A bit windy for the awning. We had a pull-through site with water and electric. We will likely stay again next time through. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

We ran and walked along route 66. My husband rode his bike over to Two Guns, a ghost town nearby. We did not get out to Meteor Crater, but heard it is spectacular.

What a surprise this park was. Tree's for shade, level sites, good power and water pressure. Used our satellite and had no problem. Friendly staff. Was cool in the morning and evening. Park offered a small discount both on fuel at the local station and a visit to Meteor Crater. Would stay here again. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.
