September 28- This place is truly an oasis in the desert for a weary traveler. Trees, well maintained lawns and grounds. Level sites. A large dog exercise area. Rec room with a big screen tv and a Foosball table. Clean individual bathrooms with showers. They provided $2 discount coupons to the Meteor Crater just a few miles to the south of the RV park. .05 discount/gallon on fuel for your rig. We would stay here again. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

One of the best maintained parks we have stayed in. Clean, organized and well managed. Utilities in good shape. Nice convenience store onsite. Staff was friendly and efficient. Only issue were trains at least hourly. A nice park if you want to get away. Almost 5 stars but.... those trains. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a good place to overnight. Aside from Meteor Crater and a gas station, there is little for miles. The park has gravel roads and sites with the sites of average width There is a large dog area. My problem was with the staff. There was a tree in the way of my satellite. They refused to let us move despite many open sites. I turned the coach around in the site to avoid the tree and the security man said they didn't want the coach in backwards. Since I was only staying one night, I was finally allowed to stay in backwards. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

Right in the middle of basically nowhere is this excellent park. I-40 has exit there, so access quite easy. Large spaces, good utilities and good scenery make this park good to stay at, but the bathrooms are the icing on the cake. Individual lockable compartments with a shower, toilet, and sink are a real pleasure to use. Only drawback is that each compartment could be cleaned a little better, but they are still one of the best around. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Go stand on the corner in Winslow, Arizona. This town about 15 miles east of park. A little touristy, but provides good opportunities for shopping, eating, gas, etc. Good buffet at casino a few miles west of park towards Winona.

What a surprise this park was. Tree's for shade, level sites, good power and water pressure. Used our satellite and had no problem. Friendly staff. Was cool in the morning and evening. Park offered a small discount both on fuel at the local station and a visit to Meteor Crater. Would stay here again. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

We booked a reservation at this park because it was a convenient stop between Albuquerque and Phoenix (not wanting to arrive in Phoenix during; 1. the rush hour, and 2. the heat of the day, Summer 2016). What we found, instead of pure convenience was, very easy on/off the I-40, nicely marked entry, friendly registration, nice, well stocked store, and an oasis of trees, shrubs, and well thought out and executed RV Park plan. We had a nice wide spot, near a dual dog park, with wide (gravel) roads, and gravel sites (well maintained and delineated by landscape timbers. We also had the best wi-fi we have encountered in the 6 weeks we were on the road, which includes parks costing 2-3 times as much. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

If you have the time I suggest a trip to Winslow ("standing on the corner"), and The Turquoise Room at the La Posada Hotel, a true gem in the desert.

Great value for an overnight stay. Park is very secure, and utilities are excellent. Wi-Fi is free and good. Over the air TV, all the major channels. This part of Arizona is hot, hot, hot in June. Site was level and gravel, showers and restrooms very nice. Meteor Crater Park is great for a half day visit. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Long way from any major shopping. Is a gas station at the park for minor things. Meteor Crater Park is really worth visiting. Have been standing on the corner in Winslow, Arizona.

This is a great RV park right off I-40. Good for a night if you're just passing through or a few nights if you are visiting Meteor Crater, Winslow or Flagstaff. Sites are easy to get into, level and well-spaced. Only minor negative is there isn't much shade...but, this is the desert and they've planted some trees which is much appreciated! The bathrooms were amazing - individual bathrooms with a sink, toilet and shower - exactly what you would find at home. You get $2 off your admission to Meteor Crater and discounts on gas at the gas station out front. We would definitely camp here again if passing through. Meteor Crater is a fun stop, worth a couple of hours of your time. It's a little bit pricey ($18/person) but you do get a $2 discount for two adults if you are staying at the RV Park. The facility is really nice and very informative.

This is a beautiful park except for virtually no TV. As usual, trees block any satiellite from being used and no park cable available either. Why any park owner in this day and time would block signals from the south with trees amazes me. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed for 2 nights as a stop over. Did not expect much but was pleasantly surprised. The service was quick and friendly. The park was secure, spacious, neat and had a good view. The sites were gravel as was the roads, but they had grassy spots with park like amenities. We received discounts to Meteor Crater Natural monument and also to the gas station. We would stay again. Service at this park was terrible. One staff member was rude when we wanted to extend our stay by another day. We had already paid for one night, but she wanted to pay for it again in addition to paying for the 2nd night. The so-called "free wifi" is a joke. They tell you not to stream movies, and I was happy to comply, but they still shut us down because we checked our email a couple of times. The restrooms were very clean and the park was kept nice and tidy, but in my opinion, that does not make up for rude comments and attitudes from staff members or for shutting down an Internet connection when we followed their rules. We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Motorhome.
