Rate includes a Good Sam discount. Found it very pricey for what you get for an overnight stay. And Wi-Fi wasn't even included. It's a gravel lot, pull through, full hookups, where everyone else just walks through. We arrived on a Sunday, office is closed on the weekends, no info about Wi-Fi etc. Pool area etc seems dated, but clean. We would not return. Easy to access park with big enough sites. Very dated but very clean and the staff was fantastic. Didn't try the $6/day Wi-Fi but the supplied cable was so snowy it was useless. Cable hookup old, frayed and barely working. The one thing that will keep me from returning is the road noise. We stayed in the pull through sites, which are close the Flying J and highways. Sleep was impossible. Early morning or late evening showers are impossible, as the restrooms are locked up overnight and can not be used. We camped at Caravan Oasis RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

First know that wifi is not free, $6 per day with better rates for longer stays. We are staying for 2 nights on the way from Prescott AZ to San Diego for Xmas. This is a mostly permanent trailer park (huge) with snowbirds...overnight spots are in a large parking lot area with gravel, not near the freeway which is good. Clean park, very nice people, employees. There is a fenced area for dogs to use which is near the overnight spots & great for our 2 dogs. Hookups are old but work ok & there were only 2 other over night visitors, so we had our pick of spaces (pull through)and lots of room. Some have tables some don't but you can move them if needed. Office closes early and we just drove in & security checked us in at the spot we picked-very helpful. This place is really not typical for short stays but it seemed to have the best reviews so we picked it, quieter than other parks which we saw with over night sites very close to freeway. No trees/shade, didn't use facilities, looked like a nice pool area. We camped at Caravan Oasis RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Rate reflects weekly Good Sam rate. Thought it might be less as the season is over, but not. .We stayed in the overnight or weekly area, pull through, all hookups, all gravel. Verizon works well in 4G. As we were here by ourselves, we had plenty of room. Laundry (takes prepaid cards only) and pool very close. Pool is great for actual swimming, open 'til 10:00. Pets are welcome; waste bags all over, and an off-leash and dog wash area close by. Cable has about 12 channels; networks come in better off of the antenna. We were there for dentist visits in Mexico. Security folks and office very welcoming. Definitely a snowbird park, as are all the Yuma RV parks. Given the number of RV parks in Yuma it was a bit difficult to pick one out based on location as a lot of the parks are literally located down one strip. We chose caravan oasis based on its reviews and we were not disappointed. Like most parks this one is huge, over 500 sites - a good mix of permanents and snow birders, all very friendly and welcoming. The office staff are delightful and there are lots of activities each day, including a wonderful water aerobic class conducted by some of the volunteers - excellent classes! Great exercise room, not that we got to use it but lots of equipment in it. The laundry facilities are clean and there were even clothes lines - it was so nice to be able to hang our laundry out for a change rather than having to put it through a clothes dryer. (Nothing like sun on the sheets ! ). We companion camped and we probably would have given this park a 10 if the pull through sites weren't located in the same area as the over night stays, basically in a gravel car park. There were lots of other spaces available that have concrete pads etc as long as you don't mind backing in rather than pulling through. Traffic and train noise were minimal - train noise seems to be a real issue in some other parks. We would recommend staying here. Rate is based on a weekly rate. This is a nice park. We are staying here for a month. There are 3 types of sites to choose from for your rig. Also have a section for overnight or short term stays that have electricity, sewer, & water. Showers could be renovated but are sufficient. 2 Nice pool areas with hot tubs, volleyball, pickleball, and shuffleboard courts. Also lots of activities in the rec halls. Paved streets with gravel sites & concrete patio. We will definitely be back. We camped at Caravan Oasis RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.Undo

We stayed here for 3 months while on assignment. My husband loved all the adult activities like pool tournaments, darts, etc. But they have nothing for kids other than the swimming pool which is heated and very nice in Jan & Feb. I was rather upset though when the manager asked my husband if our 2 yr old was "house broke" before we could get in the pool. Had to explain to him about swimmers diapers. This is the only reason I gave the campground a 9. The showers and bathrooms were good but beware of the hot water in the bath house by the dart hall as it fluctuates when people are washing clothes in the laundry mat. We would stay here again. We were located in the overnight parking area - no trees, etc., but all services worked well. However, we had to buy temporary Internet access service - might have been $14 for a week from Jabba Communications. The park is located outside the west edge of Yuma proper but there are several stores available locally there. The border crossing to Algodones Mexico is well east of Yuma a few miles inside the California border. Despite being situated in an open gravel area, all park services were close by and available to us as overnights. Very good staff assistance. We camped at Caravan Oasis RV Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Rate reflects monthly fee reverted to 2-weeks fee. Made our reservations by phone with down payment for what was to be a 2-month stay. Balance of first month fee was paid at first of previous month (Nov for Dec). Office was not open on Sunday the day we arrived and was escorted to site by supplemental staff. On Monday we reported to office to learn for the first time that they required a photocopy of each driver’s license as well as copies of ownership papers for the truck and 5th-wheel and the insurance card. As our Provincial issuer of the driver’s license specifically stated that it was unlawful to allow anyone to copy the license we refused. We were told that everyone staying in the resort more than 30 days had to do the same and that all these copies were held in a 3-ring binder in an unlocked cupboard. These were then apparently shredded on leaving. Since our driver’s license also had our signature, vital statistics, and photo we saw this as a great risk for identity theft should someone break into the office and take all this data. When asked why they needed all this we were told it was to help police in the event we got in an accident and both burned beyond recognition, they could then refer to the photocopies and contact relatives (which in fact do not contain relative or contact info). The police should be able to use the license plate number on the 5th-wheel. We offered to show them the info which they could make note of. The Office Manager was very obnoxious and rude when we stated this requirement was not stated when the reservation was made. If it had, we would not have made the reservation. We stayed 2-weeks to eat up our non-refundable monthly fee. We checked at several other resorts, and they do not have these requirements. In almost 3 years of full-timing across USA and Canada we have never encountered this; the only thing we have had to provide on occasion is our license plate number for one or both units. As for the resort, there are good and plentiful amenities. Some sites have permanent park models and others full-time trailers. A few had a lot of tattered furniture outside. While we rate the Resort a 4 it is only because of the friendly residents (8) who raise it from a 1. We would not stay again. We camped at Caravan Oasis RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

The rate reflects the monthly rate plus 16 cents per kw hour for electricity. There was also a $12.50 service fee on the electric. Wi-Fi was available at an extra charge. Free cable TV was available, but we didn't use it so can't say if it worked. We were told we had to pay for a deluxe site due to our size, but the site was barely deep enough for us. It was a FHU site, but only had 30 amp electric. It was a little wider than an average site, but by no means a large site. This was a large resort with over 500 sites including park models and RVs. Some of them were quite old. The park was pretty well maintained. It was corporate owned and the majority of tenants were Canadian. Amenities included 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, shuffleboard, horseshoes, volleyball, putting green, billiard room, mailboxes, a small exercise area and a clubhouse. There was a full calendar of activities to participate in. Most all were at an extra cost from 25 cents to play shuffleboard to $5 for some meals. Overall, people were friendly. We enjoyed our stay, but think it was a bit overpriced compared to some other parks in the area. We probably wouldn't stay here again. We camped at Caravan Oasis RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Clean park but not very friendly. Wi-Fi was extra and was lousy. They parked us with the park models instead of the RV section and the neighbors complained about our dog. We stayed one month but only because we booked ahead of time but did not like it. We would not go back to this park. We camped at Caravan Oasis RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

We made reservations several months prior to coming to Arizona and had to pay the full month's fee in advance. We were to arrive Jan 23. On Jan 9 my brother passed away and we had to call to cancel. The park would not refund any of our money nor give us a credit for another time, even considering the circumstances. WE DID NOT STAY. We camped at Caravan Oasis RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
