As others have noted this one is right next to the Interstate and Frontage Road and there is constant road noise. The spaces are pretty tight and getting out 36' motorhome between the concrete pad and the hookup box required care. The camp host will bring you to your spot but cannot help with backing into the space. I can't imagine why this is called a "Resort" and charging a $3 a day resort fee is a blatant rip off. Tight spaces, a small pool and spa and 3 shuffleboards isn't resort living in my opinion.

The laundry requires purchase of a card.

We are Thousand Trails members but the discount isn't much, seems like you might get a better deal using Passport America.

Won't be staying here again unless we are meeting up with friends like we are this trip. We camped at Foothill Village Resort - an Encore RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

I would rather stay on the West side of Yuma where there are more stores etc. Old Town is a neat area. Fry's supermarket is close to this resort. register for their VIP card, spend $100 shopping there and get another 10c per gallon off their already low gas prices.

Gas in Yuma is around 50c a gallon cheaper than the cheapest gas in California so make sure you fill up in Yuma before crossing the state line.

The park was adequate for a short stay. Not enough amenities for a long season stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Sites were level. Park facilities need to be updated. Close to Interstate 8 so noisy at night. We would stay here again for a short stay. Sewer connection was 30 feet from the coach connection, bring a long sewer hose. We camped at Foothill Village Resort - an Encore RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to shopping, 3 miles

Passport America rate. Very nice campground, but if you get a site out front like we did, extremely noisy. I-8 is only a few feet in front of you with no walls or anything to block the noise. We camped at Foothill Village Resort - an Encore RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed here twice and liked it both times. Constant activities if you want to be involved. Clean and well kept. Excellent pool and spa. Close to multiple shopping areas. Would definitely use again. Surprisingly no antenna TV. We camped at Foothill Village Resort - an Encore RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Park has very friendly patrons and staff. It was very clean, an excellent value. I highly recommend it, although it is dated. We camped at Foothill Village Resort - an Encore RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This park is clean, has full hook-ups and a cement pad. Those are the only positives. It's hard up against the Interstate and no picnic tables nor charcoal grill. For the price we expected more. We camped at Foothill Village Resort - an Encore RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here for 1 month. Very clean nice and warm 24hr pool and spa. Laundry very clean. People managing the park were very friendly. Well kept sites with cement pads. Only a few tables available on a first come bases. Our RV is all electric so very few sites were available with 50 Amp service. Our site did not have the 50 Amp causing us to constantly blow the breaker all hours of the day and night. Maintenance even changed the breaker but did not help. But at least he tried to help us. Activities kept you doing things if you want too attend. Pool tables and plenty of card playing tables available. Easy on and off I-8. Park located right on the frontage road so you do have the noise from the Freeway truckers. Walking distance to the mini-mall with great Fish Fry! I thought it was a nice park! We camped at Foothill Village Resort - an Encore RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Very old park, in serious need of updating. Park is too close to a very busy frontage road and I-8, extremely noisy 24/7. Staying for a week was OK but we would never winter here. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Rate reflects Passport America. We camped at Foothill Village Resort - an Encore RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The summer is here so the park is almost empty. We stayed here with Passport America and the book says it cost $17.50. But the very nice man helping us said" the fees were $20.48". We showed him our 2010 book and he told us to check in with the office tomorrow but we will be gone too early. Very nice concrete pads and clubhouse. A large laundry and pool tables and shuffleboard. Everything is well maintained except the price. We camped at Foothill Village Resort - an Encore RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Friendly staff upon check in. Sites a bit cramped but adequate. Close to freeway noise. Gravel sites with paved patio area. Utilities are at the back end of each site so come prepared. Semi-permanent residence friendly/helpful. We were here for a week and would stay here again on our way through. We camped at Foothill Village Resort - an Encore RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
