This park is located on the South East side of Yuma, but is not too far away from anything you need. We stayed for a week at the first time visitor rate. The site was level and all the hookups worked well. A little smaller than some of the other Escapee parks we have visited. We camped at Kofa Ko-Op - Escapees Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The historic Yuma Territorial Prison was interesting. If you need work done checkout "Sunbum" they are honest and reasonable.

This is an Escapees Cooperative park so Escapees RV Club membership is a must. The park is very friendly. The park facilities were excellent. The laundry was inexpensive and clean. We were there at the end of the season so many members were gone or in the process of leaving. There is 75 cent ice cream on Sunday afternoon. The hookups were adequate with free cable TV. The water is very full of minerals so you may not want to wash your rig here as we did; we had white spots all over. Our Verizon signal was good here. It is a bit windy and dusty here. We would use the park again when going to Algadones, MX for dental work. We camped at Kofa Ko-Op - Escapees Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed in dry camping because no open sites. Rates were increased from last stay. We were told because dry campers use facilities. Thought that was what they pay for. We were also told to dump extra $10. Can't use own laundry either. Interesting that park model occupants can use all the facilities, sewer and water needed, but RVers have to use their laundry, and pay such high dump fees! (?money?)

Didn't feel as welcome as some other SKP parks we have been to. Would not stay there again. We camped at Kofa Ko-Op - Escapees Park in a Motorhome.

Quiet, very nice park. Friendly staff and residents. Very clean. Nice recreation area with pool. Electric fee on top of nightly fee. No reservations accepted, so you take your chances on site being available. We camped at Kofa Ko-Op - Escapees Park in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $20.00

We camped here because of the amenities this early in the season. Very nice pool and Jacuzzi. Check-in was quick and friendly. Manager guided us to our level gravel site with a large cement patio and helped us back in. They said park Wi-Fi was currently an issue and was in the process of being upgraded but our hot spot (Verizon) had a strong signal. We did hear some firing from a distant firing range as well as train whistle and the railroad is six miles away. Previous reviewer must have been having a bad day as I asked about late night noise and the manager assured me that barking dogs and partying noise was addressed quickly in the rare cases it occurred. The partying? This is a geezers park, looks like lots of 80+ years folks. Nice size back in lots with Mexican brick divider's between lots, good 50 amp power and water pressure from their own well. Very nice landscaping and very clean park with a nice little library and large clubhouse as well as friendly residents. Also a large several acre fenced dog area. We would stay again. We camped at Kofa Ko-Op - Escapees Park in a Motorhome.

The noise at this park gets worse each time we stay here. The local neighbors partied very loudly until about 1am on Friday. This park only has one (1) shower for 152 sites so plan on a wait and maybe cold water! Barking dogs can be an annoyance also. The smokers seem to not care where they smoke or who has to breath their smoke. Some of the old park models here are rumored to have mold problems but are being sold without any warnings attached. Buyer beware! We camped at Kofa Ko-Op - Escapees Park in a Motorhome.

This park was build in 1986 and has a lot of park models dating back to this time even though well maintained. Just a few lot holders put in some greenery to make it nicer. The sites are surrounded by small adobe walls which unfortunately give no privacy. Given the location, 10 miles out of Yuma we expected the park to be more quiet. But we were bothered by traffic noise, a shooting area and helicopter noise. We would rather pay for Wi-Fi then go with an internet like there, it was just a disaster. Finally we missed a recycling concept. If in the area we would stay there again because value for money is very good and the people are so nice. We camped at Kofa Ko-Op - Escapees Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We like this park because it is off the beaten path, and we can hike and bicycle without worry about traffic. The people here are not as friendly as most Escapees parks, but such is life. We visit here almost every year when in Yuma, AZ. We camped at Kofa Ko-Op - Escapees Park in a Motorhome.

Nice enough park. Wide sites and quiet! Our 1st experience staying at an Escapees park. Friendly folks. Plenty of activities if you're into that. We dry-camped in close quarters for 4 days until a site became available. The park is on the south end of Yuma. Besides the casinos, almost every thing you want is within a 10 mile drive. We would come back in a flash. We camped at Kofa Ko-Op - Escapees Park in a Fifth Wheel.

In the years since I last stayed here the management has changed and for the better. Everyone at the park was very friendly and helpful. One thing we like about this park is that it is quiet, unlike most in Yuma. The sites are large, the pool is nice and everything is very clean. Verizon and Bell ExpressVu worked very well. We will definitely return. This is an SKP member park. We camped at Kofa Ko-Op - Escapees Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for a while and were mostly happy with our stay. The only problem was that smokers would walk around the park and you got their smoke fumes in your RV also. The pool was labeled with no smoking signs, but some of the smokers paid little attention to the signs and smoked in the pool area anyway. Board members seem to turn their heads to some of the problems that exist in this park. We camped at Kofa Ko-Op - Escapees Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great park for Escapee Club members only. It is 6 miles south of Yuma and you will have no traffic noise. Sites are gravel of course which is standard for Arizona. Water pressure and voltage is good. WiFi works OK at the sites, and great in the community building. Propane on site is very reasonable. Our rate reflects a weekly rate plus electricity. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Kofa Ko-Op - Escapees Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We paid $5 for dry camping for one night before we were moved into a full hookup site. We got settled in just before a huge wind and rain storm hit the area. We were sure glad we had come in from dry camping in the Anza Borrego Desert before that terrible storm hit. We were able to have our mail sent right to the park and use their laundromat as well. Being Escapees has always been a great thing for us. We camped at Kofa Ko-Op - Escapees Park in a Motorhome.

This was the first time that we took advantage of our Escapees membership to stay at one of the co-op parks. The $5 fee was for dry camping. Our stay at this park was mostly positive. The park residents were very friendly, helpful and welcoming but the park manager was rather brusque and indifferent. We considered taking a site with hook-ups for a higher fee but the manager seemed unable or unwilling to give me an idea of what the charge for electricity might run. Surely she must have some idea of what the average charge runs at this time of year. All I wanted was a ball-park figure. Other than that our experience was positive. As Escapee members we had access to all the park facilities - pool, hot-tub, laundry room, recreation hall and library (very tidy and well organized). Wi-Fi was available in the recreation hall. We liked that the park was out of town, as we don't enjoy camping along busy streets or freeways. We would use this park again on our way through the area - can't beat the dry camping price. You do have to be an Escapees member to use this park, and no reservations are available, but if you call the park they can give you a good idea whether they will have room for you or not. We camped at Kofa Ko-Op - Escapees Park in a Motorhome.
