Very clean, some trees, great staff. Can not believe the coating on the deck of the pool and in the hot tub. It is like sharp rocks, damaged bathing suit, can't shower without shoes. They closed the pool today for resurfacing, hope it is the rocks. Showers real nice. Cable limited because of Time Warner wanting you to buy a box, but still have a lot, compared to other parks. WiFi good, but park about 1/2 empty. Verizon good if you need it. All activities over by late March. We would come back for sure. We camped at Shangri-La RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed our stay here. Everyone was very friendly. Sites are gravel and dirt and very level. Utilities worked well. There are lots of activities going on here, always something to do. The one thing that struck us as being odd was that people with pets are in a separate section from ones without pets. We don't have pets, but we like to see people walking their dogs. We probably won't come back to this area but if we do, we'd stay in this park again. We camped at Shangri-La RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Yuma Territorial Prison and Castle Dome Ghost Town are very interesting. So is The Official Center of the World in nearby Felicity CA. Daybreakers Café has excellent food and service, and their prices are very reasonable.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and neat. The WiFi did not work well where we were located near the front. The pull thru site we had was level and large with a concrete patio but no vegetation of any kind. We would stay here again as an overnight stop. We camped at Shangri-La RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed here one night while passing through the area. We stayed in one of the pull thru sites up front (nearest highway). Not crowded the night we were there but can see that the pull thru sites would be very close together and tight to manuever if the campground had more people. Level site, good water, sewer, elec. Cable and wifi also worked fine. Only complaint was the road noise from I-8 freeway. We needed to run our overhead AC for white noise to sleep. We camped at Shangri-La RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is your typical Arizona campground; lots of gravel, cactus and few trees. The park office is only "open" in the morning during the summer so it is best to call ahead in the morning for a space. We lucked out calling in the afternoon because they were installing a new computer system and the manager was there that day. This park is a bit outside Yuma, but still close enough to do everything you want to do in town. This is our second visit and we would stay here again. Our rate is based on their summer 4 day rate. We camped at Shangri-La RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We used this park for a brief stopover while in Yuma. Friendly front desk, and worker to guide us to our spot. We parked in the front on one of the long pull-through sites. Even though the freeway was near, the noise soon became a "white noise" and really didn't bother us. We would stay here again. We camped at Shangri-La RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed for 2 nights. Park is clean, quiet, and close to the highway for ease of traveling if one is on the road in transit. Staff friendly and courteous. Sites were a bit close for comfort. My rating is based upon an overall pleasant, non-complicated experience. We camped at Shangri-La RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The people in the front office are nice; however, the Wi-Fi never worked and when we asked them to fix the problem no one was interested. It never worked the 4 days we stayed there. Pull-though sites are so close together that, with slides out, you have about six inches between each unit. One of the campground directories gave this park a "10" rating and consider it one of the best parks for 2011. I would really like to know what they were using to measure excellence? Another problem is the road noise and trains that pass in the night. We suggest that you try another park. We won't be back. We camped at Shangri-La RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for 2 nights while passing through Yuma. Site was very long, but narrow. Amazes me that RV sites are more than local hotel rates that do your linen and serve you a hot breakfast. Friendly staff, pet friendly and very clean. Biggest complaint was the very narrow site. We camped at Shangri-La RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed overnight in one of the pull-throughs while passing through the area. Sites are very long but narrow, so in a big rig it takes some careful maneuvering to make a 90-degree turn into the site and get lined up straight. This is primarily a snowbird park so we didn't use any of the amenities, but it was fine for our needs. Friendly people in the office, very quiet at night. Terrible campground for the overnighter. Pull-throughs are a joke. Very close with no room to walk between. Would never stay again! We camped at Shangri-La RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed at this park several times. Pleasant staff, well run. Pull-through sites for short-timers are in the front near the frontage road and I-8 but still pretty quiet. We camped at Shangri-La RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed 2 months in this park and found it to be a very good experience. The people are friendly, and there are lots of activities. Everything is kept very clean. Half of the park allows pets, and there is a great place to take your dog for a run off leash. We would stay here again. Rate based on monthly. We camped at Shangri-La RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
