They do a poor job of telling you when you make a reservation that dogs are to not to be walked in the campground and must be taken outside of the park in the 90 degree heat to do there business. This was a very long 7 days
Lots of activities but we were only given a sheet of paper with food specials in the restaurant.
Friendly residents but staff did not reach out to us - you would think that a person with a newer MH and car would be sought out to return as a snowbird resident. We camped at Westwind RV and Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

Your basic large, rectangular, Arizona rv/resort park with graveled level sites, good utilities, cement patios, security, paved roads, daily activities and golf course. Sites are interspersed among park models with one section of park set aside for those with pets.
Good location, friendly people, great rate and quiet. Will definitely return on next visit to Yuma! We camped at Westwind RV and Golf Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a large park geared for retirees, mostly snowbirds and mobile homes. Everyone was very nice -- I had four men (too many!) try and help me get into my site. The park is kept up well and is very clean and neat. There are tons of rules which appear to be enforced with enthusiasm. They make you wear a badge when you're out in the park, which I find a bit much. I didn't find it very relaxing, but you might. We camped at Westwind RV and Golf Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
Yuma is an RV epicenter. There's a fair amount to see and do in Yuma. Start at the Visitors Center at the Quartermaster State Park -- an amazing resource. Downtown is fun on the weekends. Martha's Gardens date farm is a nice place to visit, be sure and order a date shake. Tons of shopping -- Yuma Palms is a ginormous mall, and there are many others. Not a very scenic area, but interesting.

This was our second time at this park. Both times we have come in on a 4 day special. It is an okay park. It is always difficult to get into your site. They have palm trees planted in the worst spots and it is hard to maneuver into your space. The roads are not real wide. Once in the site, there seems to be ample room. It is gravel with a concrete pad. The amenities are nice. The park is clean and fairly quiet at night. We got one night free WIFI, then paid $3 day. If you like rules & regulations, you will like this park. Don't have your dog on any streets that are not designated as "pet streets". Men... don't ride your bicycle without wearing your shirt. Don't walk between other peoples spaces to cut to the next street. What a bunch of nags. Can there be any more intolerance even when you are not bothering anyone else? You can't be respectful enough for some of these people. We camped at Westwind RV and Golf Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Lovely park with good security. Very friendly folks upon check-in / checkout, and very helpful through our week-long stay. Park is well-maintained with lots of full-timers (park models everywhere!). There were so many BC & Alberta RVs there, we were beginning to wonder if there was anyone at home keeping the doors open! Only negative, if there was one, was the unreliability of the internet access. Unless you log on early in the morning or very late at night, good luck. Anytime I see Tengo Internet as the service provider, I cringe! My hubby runs his business while traveling, so internet is rather important. We've often resorted to packing a laptop to a restaurant with wi-fi in order to do what needs to be done. Loved this resort & wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends / family. I really want to give this park a 7 but just can't do it because of the unfriendliness of the annuals, the staff, and the security personnel. The park is predominantly Canadians, and they must have felt they were "taken" when they purchased their annual sites. Golf course is just a half a step above putt putt. Different activities depending upon the color of badge you are required to wear. I violated one of my rules and booked sight unseen for longer then two weeks. They were having a half price special so we stayed there for Nov. and Dec. We were looking for property to purchase, and every time I came close to being interested in a lot or park model there, they did something to chase me away. My favorite was when security stopped my wife who worked 27 yrs in L.E. for not using her headlights on the golf cart during the day. Rate reflects the 1/2 off monthly rate. There are too many newer and nicer parks in the Yuma area. We will NOT be staying there again. We camped at Westwind RV and Golf Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

This is their summer rate. The facilities are top notch. Not a lot of shade and a bit like a big parking lot but it is super neat place to stay. Mostly for long term snowbirds here. Well maintained lots easy back in, beautiful pool and spa. Clean spacious restrooms and showers. Awesome exercise room. We were practically the only ones there this time of year. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. We were only passing through for one night but I would definitely stay again. We camped at Westwind RV and Golf Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Nice place, stopped for the 30% off 4 day special and ended up staying over a month. If you play golf it is right here. Cafe was OK, fish fry pretty darn good, nice little bar looking over golf course, pool nice bathrooms laundry all good. Great Fry's Food just down street. Some noise from freeway but if bedroom slide had not faced it probably wouldn't notice it. We camped at Westwind RV and Golf Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Rules, rules and more ridiculous rules and lots of picky people to whine about anyone violating a rule. There is only one entrance & exit to the park. Could be a major disaster if there is a gas leak in the park but every day it is a disaster trying to get out of the park for sightseeing or shopping, etc. The cafe onsite is horrible. The burgers - where's the beef? They are full of filler (sawdust maybe?) The breakfasts are not too bad but they don't cook it "your way". You get what they want to make. Soda costs $1.95 for 22oz. but most of that is ice. At a Friday night dance the same soda is $1.25. Go figure. They tell you on the website that the site rental rate does not include electricity. What they don't tell you is, that it also doesn't include trash, water and sewer which comes to about $30.00/month extra. One of the many amenities/activities listed is lapidary, but there were so many people already participating, we were not welcome to participate. We camped at Westwind RV and Golf Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This would be a great camp for full or long term campers but if only staying a week or a few nights and internet access is important to you, then give this place a pass. They advertise park wide Wi-Fi but there is in fact no access anytime of the night or day nor is there a hotspot. The excuse they give is people using skype, but in fact they just don't have enough band coverage. Full timers are advised to purchase a private internet pkg. So that shows its an ongoing problem. Staff and all the campers were very friendly and welcoming. And one frustrating issue that is no fault of the resort, be aware that your GPS may not take you to the correct address. This is the worst park in Yuma. Over priced, heavy with rules and hidden charges. At check out time you find out about a charge of 30.00 for garbage and water, the garbage is self serve and always full. The water is salty and undrinkable. There is also a charge of 10.00 for them to read your meter and a added charge of 10 kilowatt hours if the read the meter the day before you leave. Anybody can do better at any other park. Many improvements to this park and under new management (Friendly). The facilities upgrades are wounderful, Pool & Hot tube have recently been resurfaced and the Pool deck was completely redone. The Golf coarse looks great. the Ballroom has had a major face lift. We would stay here again when in Yuma. We camped at Westwind RV and Golf Resort in a Motorhome.Undo
