Overall Rating:

Basic park that is good for an overnight stay when passing through. Pads are gravel and sand with plenty of shade. The park is big rig friendly. The park owner met us, guided us to our site, and helped us to park in the best place for our hookups. Owner is super nice and friendly. Plenty of grassy areas to walk your dogs. Our site was level front to back and side to side. RVs are placed facing door to door but there was ample room between RVs with plenty of room between slides. Very quite in the park. Weaknesses would be lack of amenities such are cable and wifi. Our site, number 7, had the sewer setting up higher than our sewer outlet on the RV making it very difficult to dump. Nice basic park for an overnight stay. We camped at J.B.'s RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Great place for an overnight! The guy checking us in was friendly and helped us into our spot. Very shady - which was nice. Easy access on/off I-30 but no traffic noise. Site was very level. We camped at J.B.'s RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Small campground in a wooded area, run by a very nice man. 9 Long pull through sites with electric & water that are great for an overnight stay. Good 50 amp service. Didn't have cable but we received good local broadcast TV. We had to do a little leveling of our TT. There are long term renters in the back section of the park. Park is rustic and nothing fancy. We'd stay here next time we are passing through the area. We camped at J.B.'s RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

A decent place to overnight, lots of trees, kind of a "woodsy" park. Access from the interstate is easy and it is far enough away so as not to have any road noise. There are several long term residents at the rear of the park with short stay sites near the front. The sites and roads are gravel and easy enough for a big rig to navigate. There are several trees and most sites might have satellite reception issues with a rig mounted dish. Verizon service was good. We were meet by the owner when we drove up, he showed us to our site and helped us get parked. The restrooms, showers, and laundry are all in a common building that would be considered basic but adequate and clean. When needing a place in the area, we would stay here again. We camped at J.B.'s RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The most disorganized camp I have ever stayed at. The reservations were kept on a desk pad that was too full. I had reserved a pull thru with full hookups, got a spot on the parking lot with water and electric because he couldn't find his note. Plastic picnic table had a hole burned in it. The camp appeared to be mostly permanent residents. Will not be staying here again. We camped at J.B.'s RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Definitely a no frills RV park, but all the basics are here. Not far off I-30 but in the woods with no detectable traffic noise. Friendly management and efficient check in. Restroom facilities are not "brand-spanking-new," but are clean. The front of our pull through was sloped upward towards the trailer, which caused us some difficulty in re-hitching. I would call this an excellent option in this stretch of highway for an overnight stop. We camped at J.B.'s RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Good overnight spot. Pull through spaces were very long and lots of room between sites. Utilities a little far from the camper, we needed to use our 50 ft long water hose. Not all pull throughs have sewer, some are W & E only. Dump station is a little tricky to pull through but worked fine. This RV park is a perfect one day drive from Austin, Nashville, or Saint Louis. Location is near freeway but not a lot of freeway noise. Reasonably close to Hot Springs, About 40 Miles from Little Rock. Stocked fishing lake. TV reception is OK with antenna. We camped at J.B.'s RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stopped here for an overnight stay to get off the road during an excessive heat spell. There are a few sites that are reserved for transients that are passing through the area. Best to call ahead if you are planning to stop here. We used the 30 amp electric/water site and just used electric. The park was adequate for what we needed. We would normally boondock on a travel day like we had, but it was too hot to do so. We camped at J.B.'s RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a truck stop nearby if needed. We stopped at the Pilot just north of the campground right off I-30.

Stayed here one night. Easy on-and-off I-30. Lots of seasonals in park, all congregated in the back of the park. Transient sites are pull-throughs near the office. Level, gravel lots, with some grass between sites. Wooded lots--would not be good for satellite reception--but we did pick up several over the air TV channels. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. No credit cards--cash or checks only. Would recommend for an overnight stay. We camped at J.B.'s RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

If you need a quick place to spend a night or closer access to Little Rock, one would manage fine here. We stayed one night but had a large mainly level, gravel pad. We chose not to have sewer connection but they were available. Quiet wooded location with many permanent, non-intrusive residents. Management was kind and checked on us after finding location to see if our needs were met. No amenities except laundry which looked clean and presentable. Did not use restrooms. It had rained and continued to do so during our stay but we were safe and were able to maneuver the grounds easily. Used antennae for tv and had good reception. Do not know if wifi was available. We camped at J.B.'s RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Good!

Arrival: Fairly good on/off I-30 access. The road to the park itself is a little bit tough. There are more permanent than temporary residents. Once we were in, the camp host did an awesome job getting us to our site.

Roads: It's just off the road and easily accessed... just the 300' between the main road and the park brings on caution.

Sites: Most of the temporary spots are pull-throughs with plenty of space. They are relatively level but unimproved.

Restrooms: Average. You have to walk through the laundry to get there, but they keep the entire area reasonably clean.

Cost: $26 cash for water and electric. No real discounts.

Local Area: Truck stop right across the freeway... and that's it.

Internet: None. Cell reception is good -- right next to the interstate.

Other: Dump station is off-road. Usable and adequate, you just have to look for it. We'll be back if the trip schedule makes it ideal for the overnighter. We camped at J.B.'s RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

If you are wanting a safe, secure and quiet site for an overnight stop after a long day of driving, this is the stop. The place is a trailer park about 1/2 mile off the interstate. The owner is super friendly and helpful. RV sites are close to his house up front of the long term people. If you are looking for a super duper 1st class campground then move on down the road cause this ain't it. It's perfect for a great night of peaceful sleep while traveling. Tips for other Campers:

If you are wanting a nice place to eat all but one restaurants are 10 miles away in either direction. There is a truck stop cafe across the highway. We ate there. Nothing to write home about. The food was okay. Typical truck stop fare. Will help lubricate your arthritic joints if you know what I mean? Fried and greasy, like us folks 60 and older grew up on. I wanted to eat in the trailer but wife ain't a cheese and cracker person.
