Amazing Park. All of the Arkansas Parks show their upkeep and money invested and this one is even nicer. The park sites were impeccable manicured. We stayed in Site #3, thinking it was close to the lake. It was not. But the upside, it was close to the private shower room building, close to the Store. Sites 1, 2, 3, 4 have their Pros and Cons. The Pros: WiFi from the Store. Close to Shower (not shared, private shower room. #3 is the better of the 4, Even numbers on the inside loop, Odd on the outside. The Cons: Close to front, so everyone drives by you. The park has tall pine trees, a fishing pier, and the terrain is nice, not flat at all, rolling and gentle hills. Most sites are flat (1-2" leveling), but a few would be hard to park on and place wheel chocks. All spots have paved parking for a secondary vehicle, some next to site, some across from. The area next to the paved pad is crushed rock, it drains well, all sites have a fire ring, grill, water, electric. Dump is available in the camp. The website correctly lists the power available. Some pull through, some back-in. Fishing is good, we had some luck. The store has drinks, shirts, hats, bait(s), and other gear. Rents paddle boats, fishing paddle boat, john boats with or without motors. Bikes as well. Park has a playground, volleyball court (grass) half-court b-ball, and other balls for the kiddos. The hiking trail is nice, we did the Beech Ridge Trail, 1.5m and it was a very nice walk. We didn't catch the Bald Eagle, but another camper swore they saw one dive and get a fish...I told them that they are rumored to roost here in the winter, so it is totally possible. We camped at White Oak Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Camden is just a 20 min drive, and has a Walmart and other grocery stores. It is cooler at the sites which have a more open view to the water, as you get the breeze off the lake. There is a geocache just off the 1.5mile trail so that is something else for the kids to do.

Great park. No full hookups and only two 50 amps in campground but we were fine. Great fishing. Left kayaks at shore, they were within sight of camper, 50 Ft away. Clean and super maintained camp. We camped at White Oak Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Great fishing. Fantastic trails. Events scheduled throughout month. This is one of our favorite sites now. Pretty busy in late spring and summer (fishing) and in November-early December (deer hunters). Other times the most quiet and peaceful site.

We stayed in site 19, with a nice lake view and covenient access to trash bins. When we come back, we will request site 16, 15, or 11 in descending preference - these are directly on shore of the lake or next to the docks and piers around the lake. There were paddle boats and bicycles to rent, basketball hoop and a nice playground. We camped in November and the spaces were full of groups of hunters. It was a little noisy, but the cool 50's weather and clear skies made up for some of it. Watch out for cars, they speed through the loop. Overall it was a good park, we will come back, hopefully when hunting season is over! We camped at White Oak Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stock up on groceries before you arrive, nearest town is Prescott with only two small options for food and sundries.

This is quite a ways off the beaten path but very nice park. They have a small store with minimum supplies. Employees are very nice to deal with. Park was clean and well maintained. Biggest problem was no public phone, no Wifi, and AT&T service did not exist for miles around. We had a level back in site right on a cove off the lake. We camped at White Oak Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I have camped at White Oak Lake State Park on and off since 1990. Many improvements have been done since then. This place is hard to beat as far as a place to totally relax. Cell phone service is spotty so you will not be bothered by phone call. Beautiful lake at edge of campground with boat rentals and also public boat launch. Love staying here any time I can. Site surface was asphalt, had some shade, and included a fire ring and picnic table. We camped at White Oak Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice state park. Staff very friendly and helpful, and the park was very well maintained and clean. Verizon cell service works here but not AT&T. We had no service but that was OK for the weekend. Will stay here again We camped at White Oak Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

This is a nice park but wasn't great for our needs. We travel for work, so the amenities are what we look for: cable, internet, full sewer, etc. were not available. This is a great spot for people looking to 'get away' from it all. That's not our thing, so I wasn't crazy about it. But all in all, it is a nice campground. If you just want to fish, or kick back by an open fire--this is the place. We camped at White Oak Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great State Park not far from a State Forest. Park location in a valley. No cell or wireless internet connection with major company. Walked from site about 100 ft to lake for fishing. Most visitors at this park were adult and fishing was main reason for being there. Other than the freeze for one night, could not have asked for a better visit. All park personnel very nice, polite and very helpful. Would definitely visit again. We camped at White Oak Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Wonderful, remote park. We camped during the week and maybe 10 total spots taken. Peace and Quiet. Some hiking and some wildlife. Not too much shade for most of the sites. Nearest grocery store is in Camden or Prescott, about 20 miles away, so get your food before you get there. We camped at White Oak Lake State Park in a Tent Trailer.

This is a remote campground. Don't count on your cell phone working. I camped with a group of about 10 other campers. Many of the campsites are next to the water and are large enough to get a group together by the campfire and have a great time. A pavilion is available for groups. The hiking trails are relatively easy to hike but it does get hot in the summer. Most of the trees are tall pines and don't offer a lot of shade for the camper. Plan on running the air conditioner and staying inside during the heat of the day. We camped at White Oak Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

This park is beautiful! Each site is paved, most have special space for car/truck. Each site has a smooth gravel patio that is bordered by wood planks. Each patio has a firepit, a barbecue, a shepherds pole for lanterns, and an open-weave metal picnic table. The park visitors center has minimum supplies, as well as gifts (t-shirts, mugs, lap blankets, etc.). Access roads are paved and there are several hiking trails. Park offers senior discounts. Our original time here was 4 days, but it was so relaxing and quiet that we extended for the full week. I highly recommend a stay in this park. We camped at White Oak Lake State Park in a Motorhome.
