We were in only for one night and didn't unhitch. Out site was level enough to accommodate that, but many others would have required unhitching due to the slope. The new section, the first loop to the left, is where we were and is excellent. The older loops are poorly planned with pull-through accommodating two campers each and utilities split on each side.
Don't use your GPS to get here. It may take you to a closed gate. Follow directions on the website. I got asked if I had a weapon or ammo by the main gate guard. Be prepared for that if you carry. The lake is beautiful. - Tidy Boy

We stayed for 3 nights at this hidden gem in the Northeast corner of Texas. The campground is located way back into the base away from the noise and traffic of this busy Army depot. It is quiet and shady with tall pines and flowering dogwood trees. We enjoyed hearing the forest songbirds after 2 months in Southern Texas.
The 50 amp sites are paved with blacktop but not level as the park is very hilly. 30 amp sites are gravel. There is a lovely dam created lake for fishing and swimming. There was plenty of space for walking and bike riding. There is a very nice playground. Kayaks, sail boats and canoes can be rented. The camp store is very small. Laundry facilities are limited and the dryers did not work very well. They said Wi-Fi was available but we never could connect. - HappiLeeRVing

Sport courts, picnic shelters and pool equipment not well maintained. Sport courts look as if they have been underwater for quite awhile and never cleaned. Did not use the picnic shelters but they look rough. There were 7 poolside loungers, 6 were broken. The back supports were broken in half on several, it was not apparent and potentially dangerous to an unsuspecting sunbather. The manager said he would address it immediately and that new equipment was on order. This was Memorial Day weekend so the order planning was too late in the season. The broken loungers were still on the pool deck as we departed a week later. - GaHoosier

Part of the Ocean Canyon network which includes Coast to Coast. As members of both, stay was "free" if you don't count the annual fees involved w/ both. They'd gotten something like 4 - 5 inches of rain during the preceding days so some sites were not in the best of shape, i.e. some were under water, some muddy, etc., but overall not too bad. Nice shower and restroom facilities. Friendly, helpful staff person. We don't golf so can't really comment on that aspect of the resort, but everything looked really nice. We would stay again. - the lowdog
Sep 2017 - $5.00
The sites were mixed concrete & grave with nice spacing in between. The wifi was good but we did not have cell phone service (AT&T). The park was very clean & well maintained. Would stay here again. - PLedet

Stop one night on lot 22, full hookup 50 amp. - Goldwinger
Oct 2017 - $35.00
This is a very nice park. Lots of pine trees, spacious campsites, nicely paved interior roadways as well as the sites. The restroom included a shower and was immaculate. If you love fishing, there is a marina on Millwood Lake. The only reason I didn't give this campground a 10 was because they don't offer Wifi or have a laundry. As a full-timer, these are very important to us. Otherwise this is the perfect place to get away from it all. - Melodycthomas

Loop B is big rig friendly and all sites level. Nice asphalt pads, concrete patios. Facilities conveniently located. Some sites prone to minor flooding during heavy rain. Loop A more shaded but would be tight for larger rigs. Would definitely stay again if in this area. Only negative would be road noise during day from adjacent highway, no problem at night. - rockhill
