This is a clean and well kept Park. There were several snow birds here during our stay, but no "full timers". Zip line on the premises was a good time! The area is beautiful, and the surroundings has lots of trees. I wish they would have left more trees on the premises. Spots are a little close together. A little pricey, but we would stay here again. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Excellent indeed. Make sure you get a water-front spot and you will be very pleased. A very efficient check-in at a beautiful office/store. Did not swim, but it was a wonderful pool area. Paved roads to your all concrete pad and patio with picnic table, fire ring and bbq cooking stand. Loved the view of the river and would stay again for sure! This is my idea of a great RV park! The trip into the park is through a residential area but no problem for any size rig. The park has a lot going for it: secluded, minimal lighting, waterfront, good Wi-Fi, decent cable, good water pressure and nice sized lots. The configuration of the sites was well thought out and you don't feel that you are on top of one another. Rate is based on a 7 day stay. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Travel Trailer.Undo

This is a beautiful and peaceful campground! We chose a waterfront site and it was lovely. We couldn't get satellite signal at our site because of the trees, but the cable worked fine. Wi-Fi was good. We made use of the grill and fire ring at our site. The staff was very friendly and attentive to the park and guests with on-site trash pick up twice a day. The campground is close to Garvin Woodland Gardens, which is a must see. A wind advisory for area lakes kept us from enjoying the park's many water amenities, but we will be back. This is one of the best maintained parks we have stayed at. There are all kinds of activities ranging a zip line to disc golf, even a dog park. cable TV worked just fine same with the Wi-Fi. We were there for Halloween and they had a site decorating contest and prizes for costumes. We will stay here again for sure. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Good level parking concrete pad with good location for hook=ups. Yes, they are slow with grass cutting but they did get around to cutting grass while we were there. Met the manager and he took time to talk to us while we were washing clothes at the clubhouse. Great customer service at the front desk with very helpful info about the area. We are going to check out other campgrounds that are own by this company. We will be back when in the Hot Springs area! We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This is a very nice campground with wide streets and level, concrete pads. Very professional office staff. Sites are wide with a grassy area between pads. There are no trees to interfere with satellite, and wifi worked great. We did not use any amenities. We will definitely stay here in the future if we are in the area. This is a 'Class A' RV Park - everything was immaculate, concrete slabs to park on, parking spaces so you didn't feel on top of one another. Grassed dog run. Views of the lake. Very neat, clean, friendly staff and just within blocks of residential, but didn't feel like it, and quiet/dark at night. Good Wi-Fi, cable, and close enough to town (Hot Springs) for shopping and activities. This would be our first choice if in the area again, and will be checking out some of their sister RV parks. We stayed at this park after purchasing a new 5th wheel. When we arrived, we found out that we had a back in because we made the reservation before we had our new vehicle. There was no way to change it and no one to help, so we proceeded. We were able to back it in fine, but what impressed us is that the assistant manager knocked on our door about 10 minutes after we had set up to check and see how we were doing. We were quite impressed. The park is lovely. Spaces are large and private. We enjoyed our spot by the lake for 10 days and would easily camp here again. Wi-Fi and cable worked well. Lots of places for the dog to run and we even had some turtle neighbors on a log in the lake for the entire time we were there. It was unbearably hot, but that had nothing to do with the park. It was a lovely stay! We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

We enjoyed staying at this beautiful resort, however it is not all golden. The good news is the management could fix the problems if they wanted to. You will see another reviewer said that maintenance is a problem. This is absolutely true. When we arrived most of the grassy areas between the site pads had tall grass shoots between 1 and 2 feet tall. One day during our stay I did see maintenance people mowing the lawns. However they were not able to get very much done because they were using a hand push mower. Then I witnessed two campers mowing their own grass around their sites! I talked with both of them. One guy said this is an ongoing problem and in the months he's been staying here he brought his own mower out of storage to use. The other guy borrowed the maintenance people's push mower when they went on break. One guy told me that the reason for the poor mowing maintenance is the park's mower is broken and corporate management won't let them replace it. This would be a beautiful majestic park but the mowing problem creates an eyesore. The laundry room has four washing machines, two of which are out of order. The park bathroom I used was clean and nice, one of the better I've seen. The bark park is largish, not the worst I've seen, but they have so much land here they could find a bigger and better spot. The river/lake-side location is beautiful. The pool is good-sized and warm. We enjoyed it a great deal. Another reviewer complained about it closing too early. We didn't find the dusk closing time too early. Each night we left before anyone came around to kick people out. Nice place, but either the manager isn't doing a good job, has his hands tied by corporate silliness, or both. It could be better. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.Undo

New park with paved sites. Utility hook-ups all work. Nice park for a longer stay. Landscaping could use some TLC. The grass is knee high around the site and full of bugs. Rest rooms are very nice and clean. WiFi is strong and the cable is good. We were just here for an overnight stay so probably would not return as it is a long way off of the interstate. A great campground with beautifully landscaped leveled sites. Very clean campground as the sites are cemented with picnic table on grass. Very friendly and helpful staff. Wi-Fi is the best of all the campground we've been to. Did not rate it a 10 is because two out of the four washers were out of order during our visit. This park is one of our favorites and is truly a 10 10 10, as Good Sam has rated it. Yes, the grass was a little high in places, but it rained buckets while we were there, making mowing a bit difficult. Wi fi and cable are excellent, pool and exercise room are great, room for kids to play video games; yes two washers were out of order as previous posts have mentioned, but I suspect they were fixed soon. We had to move out of our beautiful waterfront site into a pull through. We were surprised that the pull through with no shade or scenery cost more. Be sure to reserve a waterfront site ahead of time as they go fast. Country quiet but only minutes from the main drag of Hot Springs. Caution: Do not let your GPS direct you to this park. We were warned about this by office staff. It will take you places where you do not want to take an RV. Get directions from staff or use Trailer Life Directory. We have been here several times and plan to come back. Rental cabins are very nice, according to what people told us--did not personally see them. Staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. Great place to stay right on the lake. We were first time RV'rs and the staff was amazing. We arrived late, picked up our check--in packet and easily found our site along the lake. The campground offers plenty of amenities with a pool, game room, boat rentals, boat ramp and very clean restrooms with showers. The other campers were friendly and observed quiet hours. There was a previous post with some concerns about the grounds and everything proved otherwise. A great place to stay and would recommend to anyone. We have stayed here previously and really enjoyed it. On this trip the campground was not well maintained. The grass was at least a foot high at the campsites and the landscaping had not been done in weeks. Grass and weeds were out of control, and insects (gnats, flies, and fleas) were in abundance. Office and maintenance were very short handed (we were told that 4 employees had left the campground recently and not been replaced). We have serious doubts about the motivation of employees as far as the rental boats as we were told there were none available but at least one remained at the dock. We were not the only campers who were disappointed. This place is certainly not run as well as the one in Sevierville, TN (owned by the same company).
