A nice, well maintained campground, specially if you travel with kids. If they would clean the restrooms more often I gave the campground one point more and if they would have any informations about good sam discount on there website or on the door or in the office at the checkin they could have again one point more. Also at the reservation via phone and at the checkin in the office nobody asked us for a discount card, so we thought that they didn't accept any. Later I checked the good sam website and was very surprised that this resort is a member of good sam. So I had to walk to the office the get my discount, not very customer friendly. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Catherine's Landing as part of a RV group. They have a wonderful open pavilion with nice restrooms and a nice swimming pool. The electric volts are 120+ on each leg. The cable was very good (not HD). All the site pads are concrete (ours was level) with paved roads in and around the park. Garbage pick-up twice daily.

The office closes too early at 5PM. We arrived a couple of minutes later, literally 5:05 and the doors were locked with our late arrival package outside in a cubby hole. We called before closing to double check the directions as we were slightly confused and the clerk said we close in 2 minutes. (We were just down the street). I would never run a RV park that way, I would always welcome my customers. When we drove in, after a few minutes, we saw a lady leaving the building. We just happened to catch her as we had questions. She gave us a few pointers... (Best to unhook at front rather than at site, etc.).

Later office hours would be nice as sometimes you don't realize that you need a cooking item until dinner. Well the office is locked tight at 5PM and the nearest grocery is pretty far away. Otherwise, everything else was very pleasant with our group. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Beautiful RV park with paved roads and sites. Very clean and well cared for. Most sites are pull in or back in. Very little shade except for those sites which back up to the lake. The sites are well spaced with plenty of room between sites. Very nice camp store and reception area. Nice pool and patio area adjacent to the office. There is a huge pavilion for activities if it is raining. Frisbee course and a walking path are well cared for. At the end of the park there is a boat ramp and plenty of parking for boats. Swimming is allowed in that area. Party boats, canoes, and kayaks are available for rent. A zip line business is within walking distance. While we were there it was very quiet. Other than boats and the pool, not much for kids to do. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

Absolutely lovely park. Large level concrete sites w/FHU and cable. Beautiful pool and access to lake/river for boating, kayaking, or fishing. Nice helpful staff. Large restrooms/showers (shower curtains could have been a bit cleaner). Dog park and playground. Only small complaints would be terrible location of fire rings (way too close to rig), and our picnic table had rotted wood on bench so not very useable. Would most definitely stay here again. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

New park, office very busy on phones so had to wait, very accommodating, clean park, nice doggie park, store pretty well stocked. Trash pickup very punctual. Trees small which is good for satellite, bad for shade. would stay there again. We looked around at all of the parks in HOT SPRINGS vicinity and this is the best park in HOT SPRINGS! Stayed April 2016 but that was not an option on the date of stay. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

We stayed 2 nights here, and were very happy. I had reserved a back in slot, but at check in I asked if there were pull through spots available. The front desk changed me with no problems. Our site was level, concrete, roomy and clean. The only downside to the site was the sun. Our door opened to the evening sun, and it beat down on us during our stay. Would have been better to get a site facing the other direction. The amenities at this campground are impressive. Pool, playground, pavilion, camp store, firewood delivery, trails, etc. I would have given it a 10 except for Wifi, we were never able to get connected, could never get to a log in screen even. It was quiet at night. Would look for campsites from this parent company again, very impressed. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed for a month begining in Mid-Feb until Mid-Mar. Very quite and clean ground. Twice daily site side garbage pickup. All services and cable included. Concrete pads with picnic tables, grill and fire rings. Clean and spacious restrooms and showers. About 5 miles away from major shopping or downtown Hot Springs. Would recommend and will stay again. We stayed there month. Staff was exceptional in keeping the park clean and cared for. They were very attentive to any request we had. It is on 640 acres with a very nice waking/jogging trail that is about 2.5 miles long. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $40.00

We have stayed here twice, once in Oct. 2016 and Jan. 2017. The sites are level concrete pads with asphalt roads. Good WiFi. cable. water and sewer. Swimming pool which we didn't use is large and clean. When we were here in Oct. there was a Halloween party for the kids and a wine tasting for the adults. Needless to say we enjoyed the wine tasting better. The staff is very friendly. While here in Jan. we needed to stay an extra night because of snow and there was no problem with the stay. It is an easy drive into Hot Springs and there are several grocery stores and a big Walmart nearby. Also many restaurants to choose from. You will need to drive to these as they are about 2 miles away. There is also a boat ramp here. Very quiet and CLEAN. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Go to the Buckstaff Bath House in Hot Springs...it is an experience. The Hot Springs National Park is also interesting. There is a "Gaming" parlor at the race track with many slots and table games. Good Restaurants in town. The Pancake House serves until 12:30...large, delicious breakfasts. The Ohio Club looks interesting but was closed in early Jan. for vacation. Did not eat here but everyone says it is good. Several shops and museums. There is a free parking deck across from the bath houses.

Not sure what happened to this place. The first time we were there it was amazing, quiet, clean and wonderful. This last time it was a living nightmare. We got stuck with people next to us who were screaming, yelling, harassing us when they discovered we complained. And it never stopped. Also had people flying drones over your head at 11pm taking pictures. Dogs barking non-stop. The place just turned into the Wild West. It was crazy. Tried to spend as much time on the trails as possible but at night - whoa. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Fifth Wheel.

Take advantage of the zip line, hiking trails, boats for rent and frisbee golf. There are too many drunks screaming around a fire at their RV to hang around for long. Wow.

This is a beautiful campground. We stayed in a waterfront site, quite pricey for this time of year at $59 plus tax bringing it to $65. The waterfront sites are very spacious and if it was warmer it would be nice to sit outside and enjoy the view. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

We stayed here a week for Thanksgiving. This is a very nice park. It has beautiful level sites with fire pits and grills and the entire park is clean. The cables and WIFI both worked well. The only negative I can say is that if you are coming from I30 and traveling on 270 west, don't make the turn onto Catherine Heights Rd. Go past that and get onto 70 and take that way in, especially if you have a big rig. The roads are tight and a lot of low tree branches. Like I said you can't go wrong staying there, the campground is beautiful. We would like to try this place out in the summer months. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Fifth Wheel.

First this was the most expensive place we have stayed at. That being said it is a beautiful Very clean park. Nice wide asphalt roads, concrete pads. Ours was not quite level, sloped down to the river but not bad. Ours was a "water front" site, so more money. But we had some shade, the pull throughs in the middle of the park have zero shade. Lots of elbow room between sites. Our truck was angled up to the road when the trailer was where I wanted it. We were 50 amp and it worked fine. Water was good. Cable tv, mmm , not great , snowy, but it was there. I believe they use satellite. Wifi is slow but was very reliable. At&T cell service is one bar, maybe 2 if you act like a scare crow... The employees were nice. The fellow campers were the best we have ever experienced ! Very friendly and nice, but not overly so. I think everybody we met walking the dogs said hello with a smile. Talked to our neighbors from TX and AL alot. This I would say is a 'higher' end rv park, but by no means snooty... They have boat rentals, zip lines, hiking trails, but we didn't use them. Maybe next time. Overall we really liked it. Lots of grass to walk the dogs, (on leash of course) and a "ok" fenced dog park. The web site says its on Lake Catherine, but its actually a decent size river. Several places on the bank to fish if so inclined. Unless you like hilly winding roads with very narrow bridges, stay off Hwy 7 coming from the north. You Do Not want to meet a log truck on those bridges... We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Fifth Wheel.
