We were very impressed with the amenities and cleanliness of the park. The construction (they are adding 100 sites) did not impact our experience at all. All roads are paved, level concrete pads and all sites have a grill and fire ring. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Travel Trailer.

Second time staying at this campground. A bit pricey. Still impressed. Paved roadways, concrete level pads. Good spacing / grass between sites. Some trees. Picnic table, grill, and fire ring at site. Highly recommend a site on the water. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

A really terrific campground, very well laid out and maintained. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We were here with about 60 other units and the Campground handled everything very efficiently. Water pressure was find, 15, 30 & 50 amp electrical was fine, and sewer was slightly uphill but not an issue. The site had a level concrete pad with table, grill and fire pit. We had a back in site that was very easy to get into and nothing close to be in the way. The roads in the campground are all paved and easy to navigate. Hot Springs has a lot of road construction so the directions provided by the Campground website would not work. GPS is often wrong in Hot Springs so we got lost. Did find a 10'3" railroad bridge in our way. I suggest you call and get verbal directions or use phone GPS. Nature trail is nice, Yurt area well done, and Tent Camping had wood floor/bases. They are adding another 100 spaces to this campground. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Fifth Wheel.

Staff not helpful, so much construction going on in the park, it has lost its resort feel, noisy and dust everywhere. Not pet friendly as they state. RV sites are beautiful, but staffing and construction ruined the trip. Rates are too high for staying In Construction zone. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $72.00
Overall Rating:

Perhaps it was the time of year we visited but we felt the daily rate of $72 was substantially unwarranted. There were two RVs in our group (one waterfront one not) and neither of us would return considering several outstanding state parks in the general area.

Park was clean and orderly. Staff was helpful when booking and checking in. Staff especially accommodating when last minute changes needed to be made based on other Texas/Arkansas parks were closed (flooding) on our route.

I was unable to speak to the office on two occasions. 1) Determine check-in time (pre arrival either by website or phone (went to voicemail) and 2) A strange, urgent email that was sent during our stay half-composed (Phone went to voicemail).

Construction noise, dust, and kids driving golf carts too fast was noticeable during our stay. Trash pick up at the site was a nice perk. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful resort right on the river. We had a nice long pull thru that was concrete, level and plenty long for our 42' 5th wheel. Free wi-fi and cable. Nice pool area, disc golf, zip line and water craft rentals. They are currently adding about 100 new sites. Nothing to complain about here at all. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Fifth Wheel.

Very large sites that were paved. A lot of the sites were pull thru and were able to accommodate large 5th wheels and HDTers. Clean restrooms. Site surface was a concrete pad and featured a fire ring, picnic table and patio.

It was interesting to see the 'yurts', it was a great concept. We had an enjoyable week at this campground. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The surrounding area of Hot Springs was great for rambling and the bath houses were fantastic. About an hour away was the Crater of Diamonds (no we didn't find our riches) but it was a fun and muddy day. There are great places to eat in Hot Springs. I also enjoyed the Gun Cave: a great place to visit and very educational.

One of the nicest parks we've stayed at. Very Clean, well groomed grounds. Very pretty waterfront setting. Staff was friendly and very helpful. All roads and pads are concrete. Pads are level. Good Wi-Fi and cable. A bit on the pricy side but will stay here again and would recommend this park to anyone. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is the best in every way. Easy to find, excellent roads, and only 4 miles to the town of Hotsprings. We got a site on the river, beautiful view, shade trees all along the river sites. All the sites have plenty of room, with level pads. The place was maintained, looking new. The pool was inviting but a little cold for us. We even played on the 9 hole disc golf course they have, and saw some deer! All the people working here were very helpful. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Travel Trailer.

Pricey, but we did choose a site right on the water. Paved roads throughout. Sites, on angles, acceptably spaced from each other. Picnic table was showing some age. Grass between sites. Trees sparse, except for sites by the water or on the outer edges of the campground. Overall, clean presentation though. Dog friendly. Pleasant staff, always seeming to be making their rounds in golf carts. Trash picked up twice/day at site. Firewood available for purchase. Enjoyable stay. Would stay here again. This is an incredible, luxurious campground. The sites are spacious and level. Amenities abound everywhere: the pool, the lake, the indoor spaces, the pavilion are all A+! The bathhouses were as nice as a luxury hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful. This is a premium experience in every regard. The route to get to the park takes you through a residential area, but fear not the signs will lead you to the entrance. We had full LTE cell service (AT&T) and the wi-fi was good also. We would definitely stay here again and would look to get a waterfront site. We stayed one night in site #92, a pull thru site with full hook ups. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Travel Trailer.
