Okay, the road in from the highway is steep and has sharp turns. And, there are potholes at a couple of the corners that are stressful. Go slow and drive carefully; the road is no reason to bypass this park. There are more than enough pluses to compensate: a good price, mature shade trees, a forest setting, $1.50 laundry machines, a huge clubhouse, free wifi, and great service. If you need a pull-through they have them, but consider one of the back-in slots; they have more privacy and the park is bordered by a forest. I have been on the road for six months, and this is probably the most peaceful setting I have encountered. The woman who manages the park is great, and calls to the park forward to her cell phone so she is available if something is needed. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is just an excellent park. Short but steep asphalt road up from the highway with a couple tight turns. No big deal. Asphalt interior roads with gravel sites. Pull throughs are nice and long with very good spacing between sites. The back-ins are mostly double wide so you can park your truck next to your camper. Lots of trees surrounded by forest. Very nice and helpful management. A short drive to downtown or several close state parks. I will always stop here when in the area. Rate is based on weekly rate. Note that not all sites are 50 amp. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Arkansas state parks have free admission. Suggest day trips to several parks (on lakes) that are close by.

It is a steep road but doable. The park is roomy and clean. Nothing to do at park but not far from hot springs. People were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if in the area. Very safe feeling. Go slow up the road in case somebody coming down and you will be fine. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Motorhome.

This park has great views . Drive is steep but manageable. Restrooms extremely clean. Park shows lots of hard work my owners. Game room has large TV with lounge chairs, pool table and an outside large deck with rockers to enjoy the view. Sites are gravel and very level. Great campground just 13 miles off I-30 and 10 minutes to Hot Springs. Definitely would stay here again. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Motorhome.

This is a great park that is only about 12 miles from the National Park. It is quite isolated. The road from the highway up a steep hill is about 1/2 mile long and has a couple of sharp turns but very doable. We came in with a 45' motorhome plus toad and had no problem.

The WiFi worked fine, sometimes a little slow, but adequate. The cable was a bit fuzzy, but there were numerous over the air stations that we were able to pick up to supplement our satellite.

Sites are level and spacious. All gravel. All have a nice table.

The trees could use some trimming that are around each site, but that will probably happen during the upcoming off season.

As we drove around the area, we noticed other RV parks and were were glad we stayed at Cloud Nine - price, location and setting.

If it had more amenities I would have given it a higher score. But for what you get, it is a great value. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Motorhome.

This campground is perched on top of a large hill. The winding driveway to get to the top where the campground is was a little daunting. Signs warned you to swing wide. I would really hate to meet another RV coming from the other direction, so be aware as you enter. Check in was speedy. We were given a pull through which was nice. About 25% of the sites seem to be seasonal, some neat, some not-so-neat. Escorted to the site. Cable TV worked well. We were away from the camp office where the WiFi source was, but our external WiFi antenna had no problem picking up the signal. EXCELLENT Verizon signal - 4 bars of 4G, probably because the cell towers (multiple) were on the same hill and could be seen from the site. There is a small hiking trail which is probably best used for walking dogs since it wasn't much of a hike. The rec hall was large and was set up for large groups. It had a wrap around porch with rocking chairs and swings that we made use of. In summer, there isn't much a view due to the foliage. I imagine in the fall the view is stunning. We would stay here again. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice and quiet park. Clubhouse is excellent with pool table, tv, exercise equipment and real big porch overlooking the mountains. The entry drive is steep and winding but I saw all sizes of rigs camping here. Be careful with GPS, mine showed the park in Hot Springs Village (it is not). We have stayed at this park nearly every year since they opened, and after a few hiccups at the beginning (grumpy owners) it?s a great place to stay. The manager is very pleasant and clearly wants visitors to have a worry-free stay. The park is relatively new so all the utilities, electric pedestals, water lines, etc. are first-rate, and the park grounds are well maintained and very clean. The showers are immaculate as well. There?s a community building there and often something social going on ?- when we pulled in we were invited to have cookies!

There?s a walking trail around the park and they have bird feeders around the perimeter, so there is always a variety of songbirds to watch and listen to. The park is elevated from the road, so there is little or no traffic noise and no nearby railroad. We?ve always enjoy our stays there. Be prepared for a steep climb with a couple of sharp turns from the entrance up to the park. (They don?t call it Cloud Nine for nothing.) We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Motorhome.

Sites are gravel and many have sewer connections that are raised too high. Pull through sites are easy in and out. The entrance road is steep and might be a problem if there is another vehicle coming at you. Rt 70 traffic is clearly heard during the day but is reduced at night. There is a short on site hiking trail. The park has a large club house with kitchen that would be great for groups. Sites close to the club house have the best views. Hard to justify the 11 mile drive to get away from I-30. There is no recycling. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful views! The rate is a Good Sam rate. The camp hostess is amazing! The only thing tricky is the road. We were fine with no one traveling in the opposite direction. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park. Very reasonable laundry facility. The check-in procedure went smoothly, no surprises. Pull-through sites where a little narrow, but big enough even with our slides. Paved roads and the sites are gravel and pretty much level. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very nice club house with large covered porch with rocking chairs. Large TV room in clubhouse with sofa and recliners. We would stay here again. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Motorhome.

We purchased our trailer in Illinois and were making a quick trip back to Texas. When we got to Hot Springs, we experienced trouble with our tow vehicle. Our original two night stay turned into a week. The hosts were so understanding and kind to a couple of stranded Texans. We really appreciated their help and flexibility with our extensions. This was a wonderful place to stay, quiet and very neat and clean. I was amazed at how clean the shower facilities were. The entire place was just neat as a pin. We would recommend Cloud Nine to anyone. The hosts really go out of their way to make you feel at home. We will be back. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Travel Trailer.

Friendliest camp hosts in Arkansas. Spotlessly clean and immaculately maintained. The hosts worked tirelessly to make our visit special. They genuinely care about their guests and show it by diligently working sometimes well after dark cleaning, organizing, and landscaping. Security is no problem because they keep a watchful eye on everything. Laundry facilities were immaculate. WIFI signal was strong and worked everywhere throughout the park. Originally scheduled to stay for two nights, we stayed for a full week because we enjoyed it so much. The host even bakes cakes and cookies for her guests at Cloud Nine. This park has a quiet peaceful country atmosphere surrounded by beautiful mountain views but is only minutes away from all the local attractions, shopping, and dining. We even got a phone call from the host when we returned home. She wanted to make sure that we had arrived home safely and invited us back! We will definitely camp at Cloud Nine again very soon!
