Overall Rating:

Nightly rate based on monthly stay. We camped here for one month while exploring the area. The park is a little bit outside of all the Hot Springs action but the monthly rate cannot be beat and if you don't need to sit on a lake or if you don't need a swimming pool - why pay for it? The park sits at the top of a hill and the road leading up really needs some repairs. The interior roads are a bit narrow and backing our humongous 43-foot fifth wheel into our spot was not fun but once in - we loved it. There are lots of trees and shade as well as a hiking trail. No fenced-in dog park but dedicated space to walk your pups. Nice clubhouse with pool table. Park is very well maintained by two VERY nice ladies. No propane on property but available about 5 miles down the road. Yes - we would stay here again. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Definitely visit the historic downtown Hot Springs and Bath House Row at Hot Springs National Park. While in the downtown area, eat at The Ohio Club for great food with a side of gangster history. Garvan Woodland Gardens is another lovely place to visit for lots of nature and gardens and for $5 you can bring your dogs. Mr. Whiskers serves excellent catfish. Enjoy Hot Springs!

We have been stopping at this park since it opened and it has always been predictably very good. As others have noted, they don't call it Cloud 9 for nothing. It's quite a climb, and the access road winds a few times, but the elevation gets you away from all the road noise. The Wi-fi is OK, but there is a cell tower right beside the park and the Verizon signal is great if you have your own hotspot. Good satellite reception too. It's worth a detour off of I-30! We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed 3 nights. Rained all the time but we were glad to be high up with no trees to fall on us or flooding from rivers. Very clean and they had an awesome rec/meeting room with great covered patio overlooking nice scenery. Was a bit of a steep hill to get to the campground, but we had no problems. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Park sits on top of a hill so access is via a paved but winding up hill road. Once there the views are great and parking is easy. Park has quite a few longer term residents but everything was neat and clean. Super nice clubhouse. Cable TV has 15 channels. Wifi is somewhat spotty depending on where you are in the park but Verizon signal is strong if you have your own hot spot. Very quiet park. Site is level but dips down at the front so depending on the length of your unit you may encounter a tire off the ground to be level. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Motorhome.

Only stayed one night. We had been scheduled to come in early for a rally but rally was moved and we had mechanical issues so we did not need all the early days. The office was very good and did a full refund. The sites are gravel and close together. Our 50 amp power had a weak breaker but since it was for one night did not go through hassle of reporting, just used one AC. I would stay again. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Stayed a month, rate was 425.00 including electricity. Site was long level pull thru, gravel, about 30 ft wide. Small laundry 3 washers, 2 dryers, 1.50 per machine. Cable limited to 15 channels, most were clear, a few snowy.Internet was good for first half of the month, then very iffy after. Big clubhouse with a library to swap books. Quiet at night, your a few hundred feet above the road. Long steep driveway to enter and exit. Owner was terrific, always trying to help. Small park with no other amenities. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Travel Trailer.

Rate was $185/week (Good Sam rate). 10 miles from downtown Hot Springs. Quiet, well-kept park with quite a few permanent residents. As others have mentioned, the driveway is steep and twisting, but safe - we used a semi to pull our 44-foot fifth wheel up the incline with no problem. Just swing wide and go slow. Asphalt road, gravel lots. Spring mornings here are beautiful -- lots of birds, mature trees, and a walking trail. $1.50/load to wash/day - nice commercial machines. No fire pits, but you can bring your own as long as it's covered. Manager/staff are nice and always working hard. We enjoyed our stay and would stop here again. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very quaint but super clean and well organized. Clean and well working machines in laundry. Club room is phenominal- lost of space, slightly elevated area as stage, exercise equipment available, full size kitchen for use, pool table. Winding uphill road to get to park but well posted signs for wide turns. sites are all gravel but plenty of grass around park for dog walking, roads are paved. This park has great views . Drive is steep but manageable. Restrooms extremely clean. Park shows lots of hard work my owners. Game room has large TV with lounge chairs, pool table and an outside large deck with rockers to enjoy the view. Sites are gravel and very level. Great campground just 13 miles off I-30 and 10 minutes to Hot Springs. Definitely would stay here again. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Motorhome.

It is a steep road but doable. The park is roomy and clean. Nothing to do at park but not far from hot springs. People were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if in the area. Very safe feeling. Go slow up the road in case somebody coming down and you will be fine. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Motorhome.

This is just an excellent park. Short but steep asphalt road up from the highway with a couple tight turns. No big deal. Asphalt interior roads with gravel sites. Pull throughs are nice and long with very good spacing between sites. The back-ins are mostly double wide so you can park your truck next to your camper. Lots of trees surrounded by forest. Very nice and helpful management. A short drive to downtown or several close state parks. I will always stop here when in the area. Rate is based on weekly rate. Note that not all sites are 50 amp. Arkansas state parks have free admission. Suggest day trips to several parks (on lakes) that are close by.

Okay, the road in from the highway is steep and has sharp turns. And, there are potholes at a couple of the corners that are stressful. Go slow and drive carefully; the road is no reason to bypass this park. There are more than enough pluses to compensate: a good price, mature shade trees, a forest setting, $1.50 laundry machines, a huge clubhouse, free wifi, and great service. If you need a pull-through they have them, but consider one of the back-in slots; they have more privacy and the park is bordered by a forest. I have been on the road for six months, and this is probably the most peaceful setting I have encountered. The woman who manages the park is great, and calls to the park forward to her cell phone so she is available if something is needed. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is a great park that is only about 12 miles from the National Park. It is quite isolated. The road from the highway up a steep hill is about 1/2 mile long and has a couple of sharp turns but very doable. We came in with a 45' motorhome plus toad and had no problem.

The WiFi worked fine, sometimes a little slow, but adequate. The cable was a bit fuzzy, but there were numerous over the air stations that we were able to pick up to supplement our satellite.

Sites are level and spacious. All gravel. All have a nice table.

The trees could use some trimming that are around each site, but that will probably happen during the upcoming off season.

As we drove around the area, we noticed other RV parks and were were glad we stayed at Cloud Nine - price, location and setting.

If it had more amenities I would have given it a higher score. But for what you get, it is a great value. We camped at Cloud Nine Park in a Motorhome.

A wonderful park. Less than a quarter mile off the main highway so it is quiet. Weak WiFi. I saw comments about how difficult it was to drive up to the park, but I had no problem pulling a thirty foot travel trailer and I saw some very long motor homes. Definitely take in the bath houses and their history. Great stores selling various types of rocks. Also make sure you take in the Anthony Chapel located at the Garvan Woodland Gardens. Cost is $15.00 with a guide $30.00. We took the guide with the golf cart and had a wonderful time.
