2nd time staying here but probably won't stay here again. Water pressure in the section we were in was terrible. Called office to complain and they sent out a nice young man and lady who proceeded to tell me it wasn't their fault it was the City's fault. No city would have water pressure below 20 lbs. We were lucky enough to be there during a Motorcycle Rally. Nothing like several Harley's riding around the campground at 1:30 am gunning their engines to hear them pop and hollering. When we complained to the office they said there was nothing they could do about it because the bikers come every year. We won't be staying here again. We camped at Hot Springs National Park KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Changed to this KOA on the fly based on good reviews. We were not disappointed. Very personable staff, sites were level, clean and had the best water, electric and sewer set-up of any place we have ever camped. You need to see it to believe it. Free shuttle to and from Hot Springs. Good camp store and the free water from the on-site spring is delicious. We camped at Hot Springs National Park KOA in a Motorhome.

This was our second time to stay at this park. It is typical of most KOA's, with good facilities throughout. There are a mixture of pull-through and back-in sites. Our site (D-8, a pull-through) was easier to enter than to exit because of a tree that limits your pull-out room. I don't recommend it for larger 5th wheels or motorhomes. The park has better pull-throughs available - ask when you check in. They have a nice pool and a playground for younger children. They also advertise a fishing pond, but in reality, it's a muddy duck pond with a fountain in the middle. The office can provide fishing rods but you have to furnish your own bait. All fishing is catch-and-release. One of the nice features is Grandpa's Grill, which provides a full breakfast menu Friday-Sunday morning. Wifi and cable reception is good. The park staff are courteous and professional. Access to this park is very easy. I recommend it for either short-term or longer stays. We camped at Hot Springs National Park KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

This park is close to Hot Springs National Park and is only a few miles from the Oaklawn horse racing track. The Magic Springs water park is only 1/2 mile away and provides great summertime water activities. They also have various rides (roller coaster, etc.).

This is a great place! We extended our stay because it was so nice. Everything is pretty close together so its easy to run out for bit to eat or activities. The bath houses are about 10 mins away and so much fun. Staff was great. We didn't have to level anything and lots of different kinds of spots to choose from. The hill to get to the campground is a bit tricky. Had to move the gear shift into 1 just to get up it, but not too bad. Lots of big 5th wheels and class As made it up with no problem. We camped at Hot Springs National Park KOA in a Motorhome.

Office personnel were extremely polite on check-in, and we were guided to our pull-through spot. Ours was far from level, and there was little room to park our truck after setting up our 33' 5th wheel. 50 amp service is good, but internet service drops repeatedly, and we resorted to our iPhone hotspots for reliability. This park is extremely crowded with RVs, tent campers and cabin dwellers. We stayed two nights, and it was OK, but we will look for another park if we return. We camped at Hot Springs National Park KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Interesting KOA laid out over a hilly area outside of Hot Springs. Full to near capacity when we arrived, but received quick and efficient service checking in and being guided to our spot. Looks like a vintage Shasta club was meeting up while we were there. It was nice not being the only small B/C coach for once! Our spot was a back-in and all the services worked great.. even the WiFi! Park roads have obviously been widened and turns expanded to accommodate today's huge rigs.. seems like it would still be tight though. We camped at Hot Springs National Park KOA in a Motorhome.

If you plan to hit the main drag, I'd recommend getting an Uber from the KOA or taking their shuttle if available. Parking and traffic can be an issue!

We stayed there in our 41 foot fifth wheel trailer. The park had a moderately steep incline getting to the entrance. Once registering, you are escorted to the lot you are staying. Had cable service, but at the time we were there the Wi-Fi was not working. Close proximity to the historic downtown area of Hot Springs. Well worth visiting. We enjoyed the Buck House mineral bath package for $71. Well worth the money. You will so relaxed afterwards you don't feel like doing anything else. The downtown area has a lot of stores to visit. The wall murals were really nice. We ate at Granny's restaurant on the main street. Excellent food and service.

Nice park with friendly staff, escorted to site and was shown all the hookups and other details about the park. Almost tipped the guy. Next time I will. Big rig friendly with only a few tight turns but overall no problems. Fitting the truck and trailer on the site was a bit tight and friendly neighbor moved their truck when I departed to make it easier. We camped at Hot Springs National Park KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for 3 nights. We had booked one of the less expensive pull-through sites, but the staff gave us an upgrade to the "garden spot", which was a really spacious pull-through since we were in the middle of the week. I appreciated their willingness to do this. The staff was friendly and helpful. The campground has the usual KOA amenities, including a duck pond and playground for the kids. The sites were all gravel but were level and easy to access. Your GPS will bring you right to their location, but be sure to enter "Hot Springs National Park" as your city/location and not just "Hot Springs" because your address may not come up if you don't. Trash containers are located throughout the park and the showers were very good. We would stay here again. We camped at Hot Springs National Park KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Be sure to check out the following tourist spots: 1. Oaklawn Park (horse racing) - in season. 2. Garvan Gardens - a horticultural garden with beautiful flowers, walking trails, etc. that is operated by the University of Arkansas. 3. Bath House Row - part of the National Park. 4. McClard's Barbecue - great BBQ restaurant - one of the best. There are also three lakes in the area (Lake Ouachita, Lake Hamilton, and Lake Catherine) that offer boating, fishing, and other activities.

We stayed in site L-4 in our 40' motorhome. The park is hilly and a challenge to navigate on the very narrow single lane roads. Even though we had a pull through site we unhooked our full-sized pickup before trying to negotiate the roads. At the office, it was a challenge to unhook since we weren't able to park on the flat or pull ahead adequately to align the bus and the tow. Our site was just wide enough to put out our slides. We could not use our outdoor TV since there wasn't enough room to place our chairs. The provided picnic table was unusable for the same reason and certainly couldn't use the fire pit! Digital cable channels are supposedly available but we couldn't find the local stations! The wifi bounces in and out even though we simply tried to read our email and post to this site. The CG is relatively close to Hot Springs. We will not stay here again. We camped at Hot Springs National Park KOA in a Motorhome.

For a commercial park, reasonably spacious sites. Great location on the outskirts of Hot Springs . Well run reasonably quiet park with clean restrooms, hot water, and good water pressure. My only complaint was the wi-fi wasn't very good, but it rarely is in a park. Free shuttle to Oaklawn. We camped at Hot Springs National Park KOA in a Travel Trailer.

While situated in a hilly area this is a very good KOA in a very woodsy setting. Good service at checkin and excellent service picking up the daily trash from bins conveniently situated around the park. Many of the sites are backin but the staff does a good job of helping you get in. The sites are fairly close together but not uncomfortably so. Good cable and the WI-FI signal was strong. Restrooms were clean. This KOA has lots of wooded trails that are great for strolling around and enjoying nature. Would definitely stay here again We camped at Hot Springs National Park KOA in a Motorhome.

In the early spring a lot of our neighbors built outdoor fires which tended to make the entire area a bit smoky. Next time we'll probably leave our windows closed and run the cooler if needed.

We enjoyed our stay at the KOA Hot Springs. It was the coldest it had been in Hot Springs during our visit. The staff was welcoming and the grounds were well kept. The laundry had plenty of washers and dryers all located inside the warm bathhouse. The restrooms were also clean and warm with plenty of showers so there was no waiting. The trails were plentiful and my kids and dogs alike enjoyed them. The dog park was the perfect touch to allow our pups some leash free play time. The sites were level and concrete slabs were at each site to allow for level lounging. The fire ring was a nice size and grates were provided to allow for over fire cooking. We will be back! This is a nice KOA. Our truck did not fit in the site with our RV, but there was convenient parking close by. During the week the park wasn't full but by the weekend it got really crowded. The location is very convenient for visiting Hot Springs National Park. We did not use the campground shuttle, but we should have. It's very hard to find parking in Hot Springs. The camp hosts were so friendly and fun to talk to throughout the week. The only reason I don't give this park 5 stars is because they charge extra for kids. There are no extra amenities for kids so it doesn't make sense to charge extra for them. In Fulltime Families (FtF) we call that a "kid tax" and try to avoid parks that charge it, but sometimes it's unavoidable. Verizon worked very well there. A really nice KOA. It's a wooded park with undulating terrain. Our site was level and the other sites appeared to be level as well. There is a shuttle b/t the KOA and downtown for $5 a person. Most of the staff was super friendly. Good power, adequate water pressure, and very good AT&T signal. We would definitely stay here again.
