We camped here midweek and even though there were other campers, the sites are well spaced and not noisy. The bathrooms are new and clean. It was odd that a highway runs through the park. The ranger even provides canoe and kayak transportation. It's a half-day float trip but fun and reasonable rental rate ($30). Canoe, paddles and life jackets provided. We camped at Withrow Springs State Park in a Tent Trailer.

We visited Bentonville and it's attractions. Walton's Museum and Crystal Bridges Art Museum. Both are worth the time and they are free.

All sites are back-in except #1 and #30 which are pull through. Most sites are level or require very little leveling. Electrical and water hookups are near middle of site but most all of the sewer inlets are at back corner of site requiring extra hose for many RV's. There are over three miles of hiking trails in the park. No cell service in the CG unless hike or drive to a high point. Got 8 to 10 over-air TV channels. Site #3 has been turned into a ten spot parking lot with two handicap accessible restrooms and 10 well spaced walk-in tent sites have been added off a loop through the woods. My only complaint with this park is the garbage cans are small. This park is located off highway 23 about 30 miles south of Eureka Springs and a few miles north of Huntsville. I would not recommend towing or driving a large RV north on AR23 from I-40 unless experienced with mountain driving. Lots of up and down grades and numerous 20 & 25 mph curves. We camped at Withrow Springs State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a diamond in the ruff campsite. Used to be a well kept secret how nice this campsite is and now it is full almost all year. It is very well kept and maintained. It is in between Huntsville and Eureka Springs. You can enjoy all of the Ozark nature you want and still have nice, clean amenities at your site. Granny's Country Kitchen is close and has good homecooked meals of you want a break from campfire meals. We camped at Withrow Springs State Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Site #1 was level side to side but required un-hitching my tow vehicle to lower the front in order to get level nose to tail. Nice large tent pad, and picnic area was combination of concrete and small gravel. Utilities were very good. Bath house was a pretty good walk from the site. Toilets were clean, but showers were moldy and needed cleaning. Very muggy and hot inside bath house. Could only get 4 channels TV on antenna; mostly PBS stations and 40/29 out of Fayetteville. There is NO cell phone reception in RV area. It is a safety issue to me because you can't call 911 or any help in case of emergency, not even the ranger. In bad weather, it is touch and go if you would get warnings because of bad TV and cellular reception. The campground is quiet, with the exception of traffic from Hwy.22 spur, that runs through the park, when people are going and coming from work. Huntsville is a short drive for supplies and places to eat. Didn't try the pool, but it was always busy. Went on the War Eagle trail and it had nice lookouts over War Eagle creek. We camped at Withrow Springs State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Granny's Kitchen in Huntsville has great breakfast menu and good food. The fried chicken is very good, but skip the rib-eye. Also, try That Little Pizza Place. Excellent hand-made pizzas. Buy one, get one half price. Two small pizzas were enough to take some back to camp and have another meal. Stuffed Spinach was excellent as well as the barbecue pizza. Also had cannolis for desert and it was $18.00 for all. While in the area go to Hobbs State Park visitor's center and War Eagle Mill.

Very basic state park, not far from US412. FHU concrete sites. No cable, no WiFi, no Verizon cell signal. Fire pits in every site. March 2016 there was some site construction going on which had dump trucks going through the park during the day. We camped at Withrow Springs State Park in a Motorhome.

This was a beautiful park. Only has 30 campsites, but level and has nice place for a tent on each site. Fire ring on each site. Only problem we had was there was no service for cell phone. Senior rate 1/2 price. Very nice. We camped at Withrow Springs State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice, modern, clean-we were practically alone in the campground. Rate reflects senior discount, normally $30 for full hookups. We camped at Withrow Springs State Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful park! Stayed over New Years. Lots of hiking, very peaceful, and very easy access. The water was shut off for the season at the sites. But we were told that water was available at the visitor center at the entrance to the park. Will return again. We camped at Withrow Springs State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a great campground. The sites were large and spacious. Everything was in good shape. There were areas closed that had been damaged by recent flooding but the sites that were open were very nice. Our site had a good amount of shade. The pool was closed but our kids had fun on the playground and wading in the spring. The bathhouse appeared to be fairly new and was clean. The park ranger and park staff patrolled the area throughout the day each day. There were also park activities daily. Bring your tennis rackets, there are tennis courts available. We camped at Withrow Springs State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Our first visit to this state park. It is extremely nice. The RV section is fairly new so things are clean and very well keep. The park is small (compared to other state parks) with a few hiking trails. We did the hikes and the ranger-led programs (owls and bats) which were well done. Huntsville is close if you need to pick anything up. We will definitely be back next summer to try the swimming pool. We camped at Withrow Springs State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful state park. Granddaughters enjoyed the very nice swimming pool. Park staff and rangers were very friendly. We love this campground! Nicest state park we've visited so far. Sites are very clean and level. We camped at Withrow Springs State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice park. It has a nice pool. We stay there a lot because it is easier to get a site than some of the other area state parks. We camped at Withrow Springs State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very Nice! All sites are easy to back into. There are two pull-throughes. You can go online and reserve a spot or you can call and reserve a certain spot. Lots of room at the campsite. The office is open 7 days a week. Very nice. They have information on other Arkansas State parks. A few items for sale ice, soda etc. We camped at Withrow Springs State Park in a Travel Trailer.

We camped here while attending our daughter's wedding and were very impressed by the improvements that have been made. This is a very clean family type campground that does not cater to the loud party crowd. It has a pool with water slide that is open seasonally, and also hiking trails, fishing, etc. While it can accommodate large rigs please remember it is a campground and not an RV park so there is no cable or Wi-Fi. Price listed reflects off season rate. Also water system is winterized and limited this time of year so I suggest you fill your fresh water tank, and cell service is spotty here. We stayed a week and had no problems with this. We camped at Withrow Springs State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice state park. Quiet and secluded. Only one pull-through site. Beautiful trees, very colorful in the fall. We could not get cell phone service, and many sites could not get TV for the trees. Those with tri-pods had better luck. The rate is an average of weekday and higher weekend rates. We camped at Withrow Springs State Park in a Motorhome.
