It was poring down rain when we got there about 10 pm. The owner was out there helping us set up. Now let me tell you that it was an 80 year old gentleman. He was very helpful and told us how to set up. It was our first time to stay in the camper. We are going back there in July. Very nice gentleman. We only stayed one night and left early. Our site was across from the office. What we saw was very clean. We camped at Whitney Lane RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice park to spend the night. The owner is very nice and helpful. Occasional trains but no problem. Slept good. Sites are back to back. Slide was very close to camper next door. We camped at Whitney Lane RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We stayed for a couple of days in a pull-thru mostly level site. Sites are side by side hookups, so you are close to your neighbor with space between the pairs on the other side. Laundry facilities with 4 washers/4 dryers at a very reasonable price. Owner came right over when we arrived and called, and was very nice. Quiet park and we slept well. We would stay here again. We camped at Whitney Lane RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is remote enough to be very quiet. The owner is very pleasant and loves to visit. There is a large number of permanent residents or workers here, but the park meets the needs of a camper passing through. We camped at Whitney Lane RV Park in a Motorhome.

Our second visit to this park. Owner still very friendly and helpful. Gave us one of the few sites with shade. Pull through FHU, level and easily accessible. WIFI has been added since our last visit 2 years ago and it was excellent. Many sites are side by side but not as tight as some we have encountered. We would return in the future. We camped at Whitney Lane RV Park in a Motorhome.

Older park but good maintenance. Owner is very friendly. A lot of long term renters but keep their places neat. WiFi was good and reliable. Sites were long and level. We camped at Whitney Lane RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park steps off the pages of a 1980 AAA Travel Guide. An old RV Park that is little worn on the edges but very comfortable and welcoming.
NOTE!! You must be self-contained, no bathrooms or showers.
The sites are close but not restrictive. There are two electrical boxes on each pedestal so the paired rv's are close, but there is a lot of space between each pair. There is a picnic table at each site.
We were able to leave our towed p/u truck attached. The sites are two strips of concrete with gravel and grass and mature trees all around.
Looking around we see lots of neighbors who live here, but, although there are the obvious signs of permanent residents, there are no derelict trailers.
Many rv units are showing some age but flower gardens, bird feeders, and lawn furniture abound. Everyone seems to have a happy banner flying.
Not a lot of amenities but the furnished wi-fi is outstanding. No cable but OTA antenna tv will get you the major broadcasters.
The owners are the nicest people. They run a very clean and neat rv park and are on-site to keep it that way. The lot count on the Park's header is a bit askew. We took a walk-about and accounted for about 50 sites.
This is a very nice little corner in Arkansas and a good overnight stop on our travels. We would come back.

This was the nicest small park we have ever stayed in and we have been camping for YEARS. Been in a motorhome since 1999. The layout was well done. Laundry room very nice. Owner was extremely helpful and friendly. Invited us to a local barbecue fundraiser that was delicious. Will definitely stay here again and would recommend to everyone. Yes, you could hear trains close by but frankly I liked the sound! We camped at Whitney Lane RV Park in a Motorhome.

I called on the phone and the owner said that if he wasn't there when I arrived, just pick a spot. I did. When he came by later to collect, we got to talking and he took me on a tour of all his property. Very friendly and helpful. This park had everything I needed for my short stay. It would have been nice to have WiFi, but not available. Otherwise, what more could you ask for? I will stay here again if in this area. We camped at Whitney Lane RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great owner, very friendly and helpful. Nice park in a quiet setting (except for the trains a few blocks away). Very pleasant experience staying here while visiting family. Passport America rate $12.50. Many side by side hookups but since the park was not full we had no neighbors close by. We stayed in the area next to the office but there are sites on the river available which we did not visit. Laundry very clean and reasonably priced. We would definitely return if in this area. Pull-through sites with concrete slabs, shade, picnic tables spread on 4 separate areas. The closest one to the entrance has Wi-Fi. The most enjoyable is on the river banks, under beautiful old trees. A campground for nature lovers, wishing to escape the large RV parks. The friendly welcome from the owner is a plus. For $12.50 with a Passport America discount, it is a bargain. We camped at Whitney Lane RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We liked this campground . The sites have concrete pads, level, w gravel between the pads and grass around it. All sites have trees, but they are still small. There are no showers or restroom, as the facility was built for the oil and pipeline workers who had self contained rigs. Wi-Fi worked well at our site. The owner was the most fun. He is: a retired pipeline welder with many stories and experiences. Very quiet, basic campsite. We would definitely return. We camped at Whitney Lane RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Although this is not the kind of park we usually prefer, it's proximity to Harding University, and the reasonable rate made it acceptable. When we arrived, the host met us and he is a very nice person. His first action was to offer some peaches he had with him. Normally we like state parks and corp of engineer parks, something less crowded. This park is close together but turned out to be quiet and peaceful. We would use this park in the future without any worries. We camped at Whitney Lane RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Whitney Lane RV is a friendly rural park. It is only about 4 miles from Harding College in Searcy AR, which is north of Little Rock. There is a pipeline being installed in the area and many of the campers here are workers. All occupied sites were neat. There were no poorly maintained RVs in the campground. He still maintains some short term sites. Although there is no playground or swimming pool, I did see several children in the park as well as many small dogs. Sites have concrete runner pads with a concrete patio. The interior roads are gravel. Owner lives across the street. There are trees but many are still young. The laundry room was clean and well maintained. We were here to visit relatives in the area and will definitely stay here again. We camped at Whitney Lane RV Park in a Motorhome.
