We are staying here for only one night. It is a PA park. The park is close to downtown and across the bridge from Little Rock. It sits on the river. The downside, is that the internet is no good at the back end. It doesn't even show their network. The staff just says that can happen when the park is full, except it isn't full at all. I thought perhaps the tower was down. They said that they would check. We camped at Downtown Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

First, the GPS address is incorrect, the address has been changed to 50 Riverfront Dr., North Little Rock. Even with the wrong address, we were able to find the park by following the signs. This is a gated park, and the gate closes at 5:30 PM, so don't forget your gate code. The park is owned by the city, and all the employees were friendly and helpful. While we were there, the police came through at least once a day. We had a pull thru which was quite a bit longer then the length of our rig plus toad. The pull thrus are arranged so that every other rig faces the river, and the others face the flood control wall. Luckily, we faced the river. There were four connections for electric, water, and sewer at each pedestal, so there was no problems getting connected. One day, the surge protector showed reversed polarity, so I just unplugged and used one of the other outlets, with no problem. I notified the office of the problem and it was fixed by the next day. Satellite and OTA TV worked well, as did our AT&T cell phones and hot spots. Their wi-fi worked well most of the time, especially in the mornings and evenings. We would stay here again. We camped at Downtown Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Clinton Presidential Library is within walking distance, just take the walking bridge across the river. The Arkansas State Capital and the old Capital Museum.

This is really a nice urban park. If only more cities had parks like this! It is well laid out with very large sites, pull-thru and back-ins available, FHU, no cable but ample local OTA channels, friendly front office help. It's located right on the river bank (sea wall) and immediately adjacent to a pedestrian bridge to the Clinton Presidential Library that is also connected to the 15-mile Little Rock Trail. The bridges have beautiful lights at night which together with the reflections of the city lights make for a very beautiful scene! Expect urban noise from the nearby interstate and airplanes - not that bad really. We camped at Downtown Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is ample RV parking at the Clinton Presidential Library if you stop there on your way in or out. Also if you need a place to park after checking out, there are boat trailer parking spaces at the public launch right next door which may be open. Just don't turn down the ramp!

My husband and I had to stay here on two separate occasions while my father was at UAMS. It is a 13 minute drive to UAMS. This was the cleanest campground we have ever stayed. It was quiet. The people were so pleasant. I would love to come back on a happier occasion. There are bike and walking trails next door. The Clinton Library is next door. Honestly, this is the ONLY place in LR to stay if you are in a RV. I felt completely safe. We camped at Downtown Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is nothing more than a parking lot with rv hookups. It is in a beautiful setting on the Arkansas River across from downtown Little Rock. It is next to a bridge so there is loud traffic noise outside. The wifi doesn't work well and there is no cable. At $25 it's great for overnight, but I wouldn't stay longer. We have stayed here before and when calling for a reservation asked for the PA rate. Told they didn't have any remaining. Okay so we'll stay in the middle section. Upon arrival told we had a river site. Didn't ask for that and there WERE spaces in the PA section as well as the middle section. We were staying one night and didn't want to pay extra for the "river" site but that's what we had. Really didn't like the attitude of the office personnel who made it seem like we didn't have a choice. Will think twice before staying here again. Nice break from wooded campgrounds. We stayed in a Class A 43' motorhome for 8 nights to see the area and friends. Our site faced the river and downtown, great for watching the activity and bridge nightly lightshows over the weekends. Lots to see & do, many restaurants across the river in the Market place, walking-biking paths. Visited the Heifer Village near the Clinton Library, walked the Rock Island Bridge several times.

Park has lots of potential to be super nice, but as others have said, its a glorified parking lot. Nice pavilion for groups. Secured with a coded gate overnight. Gravel sites near the back wall, concrete pads in the middle and riverside sections. You can wash your vehicles/motorhome for an additional $5. Front desk staff have the personality of a rock, not rude, but almost.

Do not walk outside the park after dark. Lots of RVers seem to use this location for overnight, so the park empties out in the morning, then can be full before dark again. Will stop in again if in the area. We camped at Downtown Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Try David's hamburger joint in the Market Place: very good. See the Capitol building: very nice. Walk or ride the Dam Bridge path which is up to 7.1 miles long.

Verizon Arena a short distance away & Cirque d Soliel was performing during our stay.

As others have said, this one is all about location. Within walking distance of lots of attractions. The RV park itself is just a big parking lot. With the PA rate, it was worth the cost. It seems to be geared towards self-contained campers as there is no shade or picnic tables except in the large pavillion. Depending on your site, your hookups might be on the wrong side. Stayed right on the river. Beautiful sites at night when the lights are on the bridge. Easy to get around the city. If you are not by the river you are in a big parking lot. No shade. But the complex is gated which helps with this type of neighborhood. One real bad complaint. ANTS, tiny little ants all over. The second day we were there we were invaded by the thousands of ants. They were every place in our fifth wheel. Never had this problem before. Took one full day of cleaning everything out to get rid of them. Hope I left them behind. They had a note at the office that the ants were bad. And that's an understatement. Stayed four nights and then I wanted out. We camped at Downtown Riverside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Downtown RV park in Little Rock. Not hard to find. Cement pads, pull in facing river (extra cost) and very long pull though sites in middle of park. Rear park sites are gravel, but level. Pull through sites are N/S configuration. Good Verizon and T-Mobile Signals. No cable. Most sites satellite friendly. Areas near river to walk dog, also covered pavilion with picnic table with grass. Park has security gate. Wifi is good, even with full park. FHU's good condition. There are some overflow electric/water only sites. Bridge over river to Clinton Library is a bit far to walk. The bridge is lit at night and is a light show, very nice. Felt it was a good value for a downtown park. Many stores and restaurants short drive from park, but area can be dicy after dark, but park is safe. Very basic park, not the prettiest, but pull though sites are level cement pads and very long. If you are going to arrive after 5, you will have to call in order to get past security gate to site. The gate needs a code after hours. The washer and driers pay in advance. The park is really a large parking lot with cement pads and utilities, right in downtown near the library. We camped at Downtown Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

A rare downtown RV park. The location is the only redeeming quality since no real grounds except gravel and concrete.
