2 Parks near Omaha, Arkansas
Jun 2015 - $10.00
Rate reflects discount with Golden Age card. Small park, lots of trees for shade. Roads and spaces are asphalt, will need moderate work to level in most. 50Amp works well, water pressure ok. There is a dump located in the campground. Easy enough to haul a tote for longer stays. There is a minimal of COE staff presence here. Only saw a ranger twice, once on Friday and once on Saturday as a "drive thru". Rules are not enforced when it comes to parking, number of tents/units on a site or number of people allowed on sites. There is a marina with boat rentals and a small store. There is a small swim beach but other than that, not much to do on the park itself. Walking and biking are challenging due to hilly terrain. Spaces are generous enough with room to park 2 cars on most. Smaller than average patio areas marked with stone blocks, they offer picnic tables, lantern pole, prep table and fire rings. Park had attendants while we were there who man the station Thur-Mon and clean the restrooms/showers. There are 4 individual restrooms with showers for the park. Grass had not been cut in a while when we were here, about 6-8 inches high, if you chose to walk through it, you got ants, chiggers and other critter bites. Branson MO is just 15 miles up the road if you need restaurants and entertainment. - Fixn2gocamp

Very nice small Corps park in wooded setting. Our Verizon cell and MiFi worked fine, but we couldn't get satellite at our site. Looks like a few sites could. For some reason we couldn't get local stations either. Not too far from Branson (about 15 miles). We would definitely stay here again. - fulltime.petes

This was a very nice campground. The sites were paved and level and most were easy to access. The camp hosts were friendly, helpful and quick to take care of an electrical problem at our campsite. The campground itself is quiet and peaceful. There is a nice marina within walking distance and a nice swim beach/day use area as well. The scenery from the marina was beautiful!! The bathrooms/showers were clean and well maintained. We would stay here again!! - RN4ustat

We are new RV'ers on our first trip. So when calling ahead we asked for an easy pull-through. Upon arrival the owner showed me around to several easily accessible sites and gave me my option. Most sites were shaded and the park was very quite. We paid for 5 days and was then informed that paying for 5 days entitled us to 2 more free days. Something that proved very useful when one of our tires went flat.
We stayed there while visiting Branson, MO each day. It was very convenient. The main building was small and older but easily met our needs with a fair amount of free DVDs to sign out.
I will definitely recommend this park to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing stay. - TunkPA74

This is the best park I have ever used. The park is only 20 minutes from Branson, but is far enough out that it is away from the noise and crowds. It is very clean and well maintained. The sites are wide and spacious with more than enough room to maneuver my 40 ft 5th wheel. The park is grassy with numerous flowerbeds as well as a pond with a pavilion. Access is very easy. It is less than a mile off a four lane highway via a paved road. A friend was there with us. When he was getting ready to leave, the living room slide on his 5th wheel would not retract. Even though it was a Sunday, and Father's Day, the owner of the park, who lives on site, came to the RV and made the repair. No one could ask for better service. The only thing I could even think of, that might be a small negative, is that the roads in the park were a little rough. We will definitely stay here any time we are going to Branson. - voyager536

Stayed 1 night in motorhome. Rustic, peaceful country setting. FHU gravel sites, not completely level. The cleanliness "good" just means it is not manicured. It is kept up and the new owners are working very hard to fine tune their CG. - D Curf
