The park is beautiful and tucked out of the way on Beaver lake. We were there for the turning of the leaves and were not disappointed. Pros: Quiet solitude, Beautiful scenery Cons: No wifi, Cell coverage poor for anything except the big 2, People don't pick up after their pets (not a fault of the park) We camped at Beaver Lake Hide A Way Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great park purchased by a married couple with adult children living on site. New owners after War Eagles 2017. They are taking concrete steps to remove old units and clean up park. They have access to lake with a dock if you have a boat. They don’t have a boat ramp, but you can launch boat elsewhere and likely rent a stall in their dock. We camped at Beaver Lake Hide A Way Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

It's a hide away far away from anything. All of the sites are really close together so, don't fart too loud or you might get a noise complaint. The lake shore is a long way down a steep hill. If you need wifi you better use your 4g up. It seemed dog friendly unless you have young big dog who is hyper, didn't seem to matter that the dog was leashed and always under watch. The water at the camp sight is nasty like salt and sulfer, I didn't care to run it through my camper. When it rains there are large pools of standing water everywhere and you are on wet grass/mud to track into your nice clean rig. I would rather spend a little more at a corp campground instead of ever going back. We camped at Beaver Lake Hide A Way Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice campground. Clean pool, very clean restrooms and shower rooms, clean laundry. Cute little store with all necessities plus. Very friendly staff, refreshing to get that down home welcome that the south is known for. Great lake access. Beautiful lake with good fishing. Driving in from Rodgers Bentonville area is a beautiful drive. Primitive sites are shaded most of day and right off the river. Playground, pool, and rec area my girls loved playing and swimming. We have found our new stop when we visit. We camped at Beaver Lake Hide A Way Campground & RV Park in a Tent.

Gravel sites but level. Big enough for a 40 ft and car. Wifi is commercial, don't bother unless you are in a site near the repeater modem, if the camp is full you don't get a signal. Pool was closed, but looked okay. Close to the War Eagle area and we came for the shows so would probably stay again. Management is friendly and helpful. The entire park is dirt/gravel, which makes it very dirty. The road is supposed to be one-way with a 5mph speed, but nobody seemed to obey this (direction or speed). There were people staying there long-term (1 month) and I think people that live there full time as well. People seemed friendly. We paid for 5 nights, but left after 1. We asked for a refund, they were hesitant. We arrived July 4th, which was a Wednesday this year. They tried to say we don’t normally do refunds on a holiday weekend. Helllloooo: it is the middle of the week, not a weekend. My husband is in a wheelchair. He went most of the way down the road to the boat dock in his electric wheelchair and got stuck and could not get back up, so we told them the park is not friendly for him, and they refunded us a couple of nights. We were fine with that, and moved about a mile up the road to another Campground. (You can read my post about them on this site as well.) The nice thing about this park is the pool. We did not actually visit it, but it was hot out, and a lot of people were using it. They also have some cabins, (that is what they called them, but looked more like mini-apartments to me) for rent. They are right by the pool. Each one had a patio that overlooked the pool. From their map, they have other cabins and cottages, but I did not explore the park and see them. They had a laundry facility, but we did not visit that. There are also hot showers available, but we did not use those. Our site was # 3. It had some shade, and our slide-outs and awnings were actually into the tree branches. We are 43’ and were pulling a trailer, and we were barely able to fit into the spot without disconnecting. At the end of the one-way, where you turn to go the opposite direction to pull into your site, it is very tight. He told me in the office, "You will have to swing real wide." We had to swing as wide as possible but not hit other vehicles and children’s bikes, and then back up a little, turn the wheel, and complete the turn. And then there was a truck pulling a boat coming towards us, as well as another car, and the car looked at us like we were in the wrong! There are no scenic views from this park; it is in the middle of the forest/woods. They do have a store inside the office with some provisions, but no fresh food, just snacks/toiletries/camp items. This park is far from any thing, so come with plenty of groceries and any other provisions. The closest grocery store (Harps) is about 10 miles, but that is about 25 minutes. The roads are very windy and it takes a long time to get anywhere. The closest restaurants are about 6 – 7 miles and about 20 minutes. Corona (Seafood & Mexican) is okay. Sam’s Olde Tyme Hamburgers was good, great chicken friend steak! The water on the lake is very clean and clear. Great place to boat, jet ski, and play in the water, but not accessible from this park. The guy told me they are waterfront, but you have to go down a very long, steep dirt road to get to the water, which consists of a boat dock for about 6 or 7 vessels. The water is very low right now, so you have to walk on some rocks to get to it. We won’t be back here, unless they do something to improve the dirt/dust/roads. Overall Rating:

We stayed here for the 2011 BBB rally. The cons of the park are that it is difficult to find, even with a GPS (may have been user error), the road to the park is winding for pulling an RV, the restrooms are not clean and kept running out of toilet paper, and there are not that many trees. Pros are the very friendly staff, the winding road was fun and nice on a motorcycle, the park is quite, and it is a short walk to a beautiful view of the lake! I would say we enjoyed it the most because there were a lot of nice roads to ride the motorcycle on around this campground, without having to go into Fayetteville. We will stay somewhere else for the rally next year but we did enjoy our stay here. We camped at Beaver Lake Hide A Way Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

I arrived at night so picked my own spot which was level. Looked like most of the RVs were permanents. Area well kept where we were parked but around the office there was a lot of trash and old rigs stuffed with junk. Otherwise agree with the previous reviews. Unless I was there for fishing I probably wouldn't make the drive to get to it. We camped at Beaver Lake Hide A Way Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Highway to campground is hilly, curvy and narrow. Campground is not very well maintained. Sites are gravel/grass and there seems to be a good number of seasonal/permanent campers. Owners were friendly and helpful, but because of the condition of the campground and the access road, we would not camp here again. We were charged for full hookup but when we went to use the sewer it would flow onto the ground. Told the manager this and he said "We will look into it." Looked like most of the people there were permanent residents. Would NEVER recommend this to anyone or ever go back there. Out of the way and off the beaten track - the 14-mile road in is twisty, hilly and a slow trek. Campground is clean. Combo asphalt and gravel road. Sites are level, although mostly a mixture of gravel and grass. Excellent friendly owners and staff. One draw back is the distance to Rogers shopping, traversing the 14-mile road every time you leave the park. Close to Eureka Springs, Bentonville and even Branson, MO for day trips.
