Second time staying here. Old well maintained COE campsite. sites are reasonably spaced out with hard surfaces, tables and fire ring. Stayed in site 109 right on the water (Beaver Lake). Little tricky getting in to site. Went in forward so that door on waterside and backed out. Great value if you have park pass. We get 50% discount as Senior so $13 Per night for water and 50 amp.Winding road to get to Camp from Rogers, AR. Good road but slow. We camped at Horseshoe Bend COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Dogs allowed. Regular cost is $20 per night with America the Beautiful pass it was $10 per night. Water and dump station available to fill and empty your tanks. Only electric at site. Overall it was a peaceful, relaxing long weekend. I would recommend. Site 98 is long enough for a 20' trailer with parking to the side or near by overflow parking. Not having water and sewer connections at the individual site was the only reason for not giving it an overall rating of 10. We camped at Horseshoe Bend COE in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed 4 nights in this campground. The site we had chosen which we thought had a view of the lake from the site map on the website unfortunately had trees which blocked the view. However, many sites had spectacular views of the lake. The layout is kind of confusing with small roads interspersed through the campground. This is an older COE campground but overall well maintained and very nice with large trees and electric and water hookups. We would definitely return. We camped at Horseshoe Bend COE in a Motorhome.

I was so surprised by this campground. The sites were in huge disrepair. Asphalt was crumbling. The bathroom was despicable . We opted not to take a shower. We tried to use the toilets elsewhere. The campground is in huge need of repair. I have never been to a COE campground in such a state of disrepair. The sites allow 3 tents which is a lot of people per site. It is very noisy. Most sites are very unlevel. We camped at Horseshoe Bend COE in a Travel Trailer.

We camp at Horseshoe Bend monthly. We love the walk up sites with views of the lake. Great fishing on Beaver Lake, playground for the kids, and pet friendly. Holidays usually sell out months in advance. Holidays have been very noisy and partiers seem to go all night. If you like something quieter look at site 96 it's by itself. Showers and bathrooms are clean but haven't been updated in many years. Also not enough bathhouses for the number of guests. Four showers all together. Parking lot near swimbeach, some lifevest are available, and sand for the kids to build castles. Tent sites available right along the water. Some of the sites have been updated recently and some have pads that are crumbling. Not many have water on site. None have sewage. The peninsula is nice for the kayakers because of the nice shoreline to launch. The main lake is non stop boat traffic. This is a place you can build family memories, play with the kids, fellowship with friends, and throw sticks for the dogs to fetch. Deer are everywhere so enjoy the wildlife. Monte Ne Chicken is the best. We camped in a travel trailer. We camped at Horseshoe Bend COE in a Travel Trailer.

Another beautiful COE Campground. Site 159 had a Great Lake view lakeside. Electric only was a downside. Got a satellite view for TV. Verizon 4G LTE worked well. Long site with picnic table on slab and fire pit. Another trailer on one side only which was great. Would definitely return. We camped at Horseshoe Bend COE in a Travel Trailer.

Clean park with great views. My electric cord wouldn't reach the plug in so the camp ground loaned us an extension cord. The people who run this park are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this park to all. We camped at Horseshoe Bend COE in a Tent Trailer.

Nice Army COE park on Beaver Lake. As others wrote, some sites are small, but others very spacious. The lady at the office gave us some suggestions and let us go pick out the one we wanted. Sites 140 - 147 are especially nice on the water and big rig friendly. Reservations can be made but 30% of the sites are first come first served. Some have 50 amp & water, but most are electric only, especially ones on the water due to seasonal flooding. Park was clean and quiet. No WiFi and no Tmobile but Verizon worked. Small sites mainly for tents or popups, only a few large enough for 36-ft motorhome. It was flooded during our visit and many waterfront sites were closed off. Fishing and boating on Beaver Lake are the main attractions. The access road to the campground is typical narrow, steep winding Ozark two-lane.

Only two showers for each sex in main camping area. We camped at Horseshoe Bend COE in a Motorhome.

Interior roads are narrow and there are several turns where vehicles have driven off the road and into the mud. Excellent vistas. Great lake. Only two shower buildings, each with 2 showers. Shower stall small, perhaps 3 by 5 ft, no shelving, no place to put your soap. Good value at $10 per night. Very scenic. most people appear to be local with collection of boats, trailers, etc. Uncut grass sites were adequate in size and equipment. We camped at Horseshoe Bend COE in a Travel Trailer.

Nice laid back campground with many waterside sites that are very spacious. Campground is a long way from town on a windy 2 lane road. Could have more bathrooms and shower houses. We would definitely return. We camped at Horseshoe Bend COE in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice park with lots of room. The restrooms that have showers look almost new and are very clean. The sites are large and well separated. There are several different camping areas each with it's own set of amenities. They could use more bathrooms. We would stay here again. We camped at Horseshoe Bend COE in a Travel Trailer.

When we got there our sight was in the sun. The temperature was about 103. We ask if we could have another sight with shade. They security-gate attendant said sure just drive around and pick a sight at no extra charge for switching. We found a nice shaded spot #14, it was pretty level and good for satellite dish, with nice view of the lake. There are a lot of deer in the park but no bother to the campers. Horseshoe Bend is a very quite park, nice people to talk. The park is located southeast of Rogers, Arkansas, a city of 55,000. We would stay here again. We were disappointed that a lot of the non reservable sites were not available to recent flooding, but that was no fault of the parks. Everything was wonderful while we were there. Nice bathrooms with showers. Great park for walks; so much to explore. We can't wait to go back! We camped at Horseshoe Bend COE in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed on the peninsula that is first-come, first-served. Our site was at the end, near a water faucet and facing a cove on the lake. We could pull the boat up to the shore near the camper. Site had privacy and shade. We kept extending our stay. It was great. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets and great fishing. Hosts were very nice and friendly. We camped at Horseshoe Bend COE in a Fifth Wheel.
