We stayed here for 7 nights, got the weekly rate. Beautiful park with shaded and non-shaded level sites. Owner very helpful and accommodating. Great laundry facility, $1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry! It's obvious a lot of time and work have gone into this park. Good cable TV, Wifi secure and fast. We will definitely be staying here any time we pass through this area! We camped at Ivy's Cove RV Retreat in a Fifth Wheel.

The host was extremely helpful and courteous. We had a tire problem and he recommended a local tire store. Park is conveniently located off I-40. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Ivy's Cove RV Retreat in a Motorhome.

Nice quiet park away from the expressway. Follow the directions and go past the Flying J. Site was absolutely level. Clean and well kept. Personnel very friendly. Good utilities. Nice stop over for the night. Would definitely come again. We camped at Ivy's Cove RV Retreat in a Motorhome.

We only stayed here overnight, so the review will be brief. The campground is a mile or so off the interstate in a residential area, so it's reasonably quiet. It's very pretty with lots of trees and grass. Sites are a little close together for our liking but that's not unusual. Check-in was quick and friendly. Verizon was very slow, AT&T was decent, and the free campground WiFi actually was pretty fast (exactly 3 Mbps). There's no dog area, but we walked ours through the campground and one of the nearby streets. We would return here again for a few nights. We camped at Ivy's Cove RV Retreat in a Motorhome.

The park was very peaceful and quiet. Easy access off the interstate and inside the park. Wonderful, strong Wi-Fi. Park was nicely landscaped. Owner was very attentive. Sites 1 through 23 are the older sites but they are closer to the road, easy to access and have mature, nice foliage. The newer lots are well spaced and clean but they were no trees and landscaping there yet. The electric hookup was in a good location and appeared modern. Sewer connection was clean, in good location, and easy to connect. The playground is shaded but very small. We camped at Ivy's Cove RV Retreat in a Motorhome.

Ivy's is perfect for those seeking a clean, quiet and safe rural camp close to freeway exit and city conveniences such as stores, restaurants and gas stations. Just keep in mind the office is generally vacant but the owner is responsive to cell phone and very customer-service oriented. Cell and WiFi are strong, while cable requires loaner box from office (unable to get antenna TV stations). Spotless laundry room with extended hours, coin changer, snack and detergent machines. Large grassy areas to walk dogs (had no problem with other dogs). You can even wash your rig onsite - - now that's a rare find. We camped at Ivy's Cove RV Retreat in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Happy Days RV (5 miles from camp) bailed us out of a jam by getting us a Husky hitch bar in under 24 hours, at a cost 20 percent less than online stores. Highly recommended.

Good stopover for one night. Park is surrounded by woods and lots of good grassy patches for our dog. Owner put us in a good spot for satellite reception. We didn't want to mess with the cable box attachment. We camped at Ivy's Cove RV Retreat in a Motorhome.

Well maintained gravel interior roads and sites. Sites very narrow and short but will just handle big rigs. Is not at any of the lake recreation areas, but right off the highway for a good overnight or short stay. There are many folks living here to work at the power plant--sites are neat, clean and well kept-owner on site and keeps an eye on everything. We would stay here again We camped at Ivy's Cove RV Retreat in a Motorhome.

Owner has added a new section in the meadow to accommodate long term maintenance workers for the nearby nuclear power plant. Most of the sites in the campground are now long term rentals. The interior roads and trailer pads are gravel. There is a narrow grassy strip with a picnic table separating each of the trailers. No trees or shade. Cable TV was not available. We camped at Ivy's Cove RV Retreat in a Fifth Wheel.

This is our second time staying here. I will say again that for an overnight stay, this place is good. This time, though, we stayed two weeks to visit with friends in the area. I will say that the owner is wonderfully nice, and he would do anything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The shower/restroom was in the same room as the laundry and the elliptical machine/exercise bike. There was a strange smell in there, like old kitty litter. Beyond the smell, though, the washers/dryers ($1.50 each) worked well, the workout equipment was loud, but nice to have when it rained (it did, a lot). Shower pressure was good. The park was full so the water pressure at the site was pitiful, but I filled the tank and just used the water pump. My big complaint was inconsiderate neighbors. Put your pet on a leash and pick up after them - not hard rules to follow, except for four or five campers. And they made it horrible for everyone - there was poop everywhere, and big dogs running around that did NOT listen to voice commands. We camped at Ivy's Cove RV Retreat in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Umami's in Russellville has fabulous sushi - the Wonder Woman isn't on the menu, but it's a smoked roll and it was SO good. We visited the Post Winery in Altus for a nice break; Wiederkehr Wine Cellar just down the road in Altus has an amazing restaurant - definitely worth a visit.

Clean, quiet park, with easy access off I-40. Good gravel interior roads, and mostly level, gravel sites. Pull-through sites are somewhat tight, with grass & small trees in between. Large area of grass in back to walk my dogs. We would stay here again. We camped at Ivy's Cove RV Retreat in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy to find off I-40. Owner is like a one man band. He does everything and very friendly as well. We were in the new section that has recently been open. Good services, well located. Sites are gravel with grass between. Plenty of space to walk the dogs. For a small park the wifi was pretty good. We would stop again if we were heading that way. Very nice family owned RV park convenient to I-40. All sites are full hook-up with 30/50 amps. Most sites are pull-through and are long, level, and on packed gravel. There is grass, a shade tree, and a picnic table between each site. There is a large laundry room and 3 modern and clean individual bathrooms with showers. Everything in the park attractive and well maintained. There is also plenty of green space for walking a dog. We would gladly stay here anytime we are traveling on I-40.
