Easy access. Really tight sites. We were the only non long term resident at the park. For overnight stay it was adequate. We camped at Outdoor Living RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This park has very easy access. Take exit 81 off I-40 and go just a short distance north on AR-7. Park is on the west side across from Dollar General. Gravel roads and sites. Sites are just long enough for rv and vehicle. Sites are level. Sites are pretty close together. Large grassy area by road used for RV storage, but good area to walk dogs. Large fence off leash dog run. Utilities were very good. Cable does not work. There is a long list of cable channels on the welcome brochure, and when you try to load them only about 7 come up, and they are actually off line. No cable TV. If you use a dish, do not park in the west line since it is too close to the trees. Staff is super nice and helpful. If calling call the office from 8 to 5pm. I would stay here again. We camped at Outdoor Living RV Park in a Motorhome.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The sites were gravel but level. The whole place was very clean . There were a lot of semipermanent RVs in the park but all were neat. The site was narrow but long enough for us to stay hooked up and park car behind the trailer. Dog park and a large grassy space to walk dog between sites and the highway also. Very convenient to I-40. Pull through sites. Clean showers. Neat park. Very friendly staff. We camped at Outdoor Living RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very friendly & helpful check-in. Park appears to be mostly full time residents. Access to site was fine but sites very close. No space for opening awning or chairs outside. Cable required a box and cables that didn't work. WiFi was also very weak. OK for overnight stay. Not sure it delivers what is stated in offerings. We camped at Outdoor Living RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Book keeper booked us In, as the Management were away, she was super friendly and helpful. In order to get TV, we were handed a box of cable and a box to connect, too complicated so we did not bother. The worrying part was connecting the freshwater. It was totally submerged due to rain and lower than the septic, leaving us to worry about hygiene and would we get sick. How can this be safe? This is the reason for rating the cleanliness as terrible. The sites were very narrow, very muddy, and if anyone pulls in next to us, we will have to partly pull our awning in or they will be touching. If we were not doing an overnight we going through, we would have left. We camped at Outdoor Living RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

It's conveniently located off I-40, where there are plenty of gas stations from which to choose. Gravel sites are level. Didn't use but saw the laundry: 3 washers, 3 dryers. Seems to be a lot of people living here long term to work but no mobile homes and all the sites seem neat. One end of the park is a storage facility. This place advertises online that it has a storm shelter, which is the reason we chose this park, but the park site map says to use the rest rooms during severe weather. Also, at our site and others that we observed, the water hookup is below ground; ours was full of mud. The sewer connection is higher than the water connection. Any surface water or sewer spillage can run into the water faucet box. This is a definite sanitary issue and, I should think, a possible health code violation! We are here overnight, so we are using water in our holding tank rather than connecting to the water source here. We camped at Outdoor Living RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed one night in a 42' towing. The park is easy in and out and close to I40. Fairly quiet. Main problem is the sites are very tight, but long enough for us. Our picnic table was under the neighbors slide. The other neighbors was under ours. Many long terms, but not overly trashy. When checking in we were offered a box for cable. We had satellite and did not need the box. The nice lady in the office seemed relieved. Overheard another camper telling her he was returning the box as it was too much trouble to use. She apologized, it's not her fault. Big pro is the large off leash dog park. We camped at Outdoor Living RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overnight stay. Staff, very nice/polite/friendly. Cable tv, only with box (which they will provide), but, unable to access "behind the tv" to plug in. Antenna tv hot 3 channels with poor/intermittent reception.Dryers don't work. Fortunately, they warned us, before we washed any clothes. Spaces are gravel, pretty level. Basically a parking lot with electric and water. We camped at Outdoor Living RV Park in a Motorhome.

Office was closed at 5 p.m. and onsite manager did not answer his door. No cable service because a cable box was needed, which was not available, and there were no over air channels. Sites were level and graveled. Basically a storage facility with campground on the side. Would not stay there again. We camped at Outdoor Living RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overnighted here. Convenient to the Interstate. Gravel pull thru site was level and interior roads are good. Some sites are shaded, but not ours. Cable TV requires a converter box (which I cannot use due to hook up locations on the sets). OTA TV was marginal. WiFi was good at our site near the office. A good overnight stop close to a large lake, just off I40. The sites are a bit narrow, but there is plenty of maneuvering room. About 1/3 of the sites were semi-permanent construction workers, but the folks were friendly and it was quiet at night and easy to get back on the interstate the next morning. The office manager was friendly and fun to talk with. We camped at Outdoor Living RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Just stayed here overnight. Looks like some people live here but place is neat as can be. No weird looking RVs or tenants. 50 amp , sewer, water, good wi fi and cable TV with digital stations. Long spots for big rigs. We have a 40 ft motorhome with a large toad and can stay hooked up. Went through another rv park before we picked this one. Only bad thing is sites are really close. Site had some gravel. Mostly permanent residents but all were helpful. Staff gave great info on scenic roads to see. No amenities. We walked dogs in front area. The lawn company sprayed weed killer all over our tires and rims of RV and jeep. We complained and they let us wash RV and toad for free. This was a no frills campground but all the hook ups worked and we felt safe. We camped at Outdoor Living RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Do the scenic Arkansas Canyon tour and eat shrimp creole at Jasper Arkansas Cafe. Pricey but just like eating in New Orleans which is where cook/owner is from. Ride down to Steel Creek Canyon and see some great sites. Do the drive through Boxley Canyon in early morning or late evening and see the Elk.
