Cute park, very nice owner. Lots of trees, may not get satellite in the summer when trees are full. Lots, LOTS of pecan trees, pick them off the ground to eat! We camped at Park Ridge RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy off and on from I-40. Easy in and out of park. Quiet and shaded sites...level gravel with some grass. FHU, GS discount ($35 with disc), no cable but good wifi. Plenty of dog walking space. Did not use bathhouse..but it is new. Cute gift shop in office. We camped one night in fifth wheel and sites are long enough so that we did not need to unhook. All in all..shaded, safe, rural and cute...we would stay again. We camped at Park Ridge RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Good place for stop-over stay. Easy in & out. Large pull-through. Level gravel sites. Full hookups, 50 amp. Lots of trees, trimmed well above rigs. Near river but not a part of river you'd want to swim in! Cable. Probably would be quiet it it wasn't cicada season. Staff (owner?) very friendly and helpful. Some long-term residents. Would stay here again. We camped at Park Ridge RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a train that goes from Van Buren to Winslow, AR, but runs only on some days. Both Van Buren and next town, Fort Smith, have interesting historical places.

Lots of trees which are nice but no satellite tv. Their cable tv requires a box be installed near your tv. About half the channels do not come in. Right on rivers edge for a beautiful setting. Peaceful and quiet. Wifi works well. Good Verizon coverage. We camped at Park Ridge RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice quiet park. Office staff was very nice. Wifi was pretty useless at our site. I could get connected but it would take forever to just check emails. I would stay here again. We camped at Park Ridge RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Easy on and off of I-40. The owner is very nice. I would say this park is a work in progress. Lots of long term campers. It was easy to get in and out of our site. The site was level and all the utilities worked well. We were on a 50 AMP pull through site. It's okay for a shot term stay. We camped at Park Ridge RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

What has been said by other reviews are essentially correct. Great staff/owners who are really trying hard and working currently to make improvements. Specifically, the restrooms/laundry (currently under construction). If you are self contained, this park is fine but I have to agree a little over priced for what they are currently. I would still recommend the park in an effort to help the owners/staff get the work done that is needed to justify the price. It was a very quite park with nice fulltime residents scattered about. Nice river view and our space was fine. Some spaces are a little close to each other, while some are not. I say support this park in hopes of helping them complete their improvements. We camped at Park Ridge RV Campground in a Motorhome.

The setting is beautiful (trees and creek). The park is clean and relatively-well maintained. The WiFi is pretty good. Satellite reception is, for the most part, non-existent due to the tree density. We camped at Park Ridge RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Beautiful park. Friendly staff. Bathhouse was being rebuilt and older one was not clean enough to use. Full hook ups. WIFI was a little weak. Only stayed overnight but longer stay in the future would be great as it is in a beautiful area. We camped at Park Ridge RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We dd an overnight here while traveling I40. They just had a severe storm earlier in the night so there was debris everywhere. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The sites were VERY close but since it was just a place to stop for the night so it was fine. We camped at Park Ridge RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for one night while traveling through the area. The staff member we spoke with was very friendly and gave us a spot that was large enough for our camper and our extra vehicle. Our site was mostly level. The bathhouse, however, and the area surrounding it, were terrible. The shower stalls were filthy, as were the toilet stalls. The door did not latch on the stall, and there were more than a few bugs. The wall separating the shower stalls was partially rotted and moved when you leaned against it. There were used band-aids on the floor, and a LOT of dirt. The men's bathroom was in similar shape and reeked of urine. There was no mirror at all in the men's room. The area outside of the bathhouse was covered with tools and cigarette butts and other small bits of trash. This was probably the worst bathhouse we have ever seen, especially for the price, which was among the most expensive of our cross-country trip. I feel bad about writing this in my review because the staff was so very nice, but unless you are completely self-contained and are sure you won't need to use the bathhouse, avoid this campground. We camped at Park Ridge RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The sites have lots of nice shade. Only went to the restroom once. One toilet was stopped up and the other was out of toilet paper. The laundry room was absolutely filthy. Dryer lint was all over the floor and the trash can was overflowing. The dryers had dust and dirt on the outside. There were three washers. Two of the washers "cold" wash cycle poured in "HOT" water instead of cold. I caught one of the washers, but the other was not caught in time and the dark clothes washed in extremely hot water which messed up some of the clothes. Our site was close to the restroom and there was lots of junk and tools laying around. We camped at Park Ridge RV Campground in a Motorhome.

The first two rows of the park are a facade! They keep them empty for overnighters, clubs, etc. The bathrooms were out of order. The "playground" listed on the website was nothing more than a swingset set up by a lot of equipment such as backhoes, etc. The dock is rotted and unsafe. The "propane station" you see on the website does not exist. We were without cable for 2 weeks yet we were still charged for it. The internet is shotty at best. Some of the sewer caps were missing and when it rained, the ditch in front of our spot became quite nasty. When Van Buren received a big rain this past weekend we had to do an emergency evacuation! We moved up to another RV park and love it! Most of our neighbors from ParkRidge are staying up here as well. We camped at Park Ridge RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Popped in late w/out reservation just for the night and was pleasantly received by owner and son who actually led us out to site. Super nice people, very friendly. Pull thru was pretty flat albeit a little muddy from all the previous rain, but the park IS right on the creek, so I wouldn't expect it to be too dry anyway. Park was wooded and tree covered - lots of squirrels, cats and friendly people. Some grassy areas to walk pups too. Relatively quiet for just that night. Just what we needed. We camped at Park Ridge RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.
