Not too bad of a spot to just stay the night. Not that easy to get to. While late November might be the off season, the bathrooms were a disaster. The only saving grace was that it did have hot water. We camped at Winn Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Before I give my review, it should be noted that there is a bridge with a weight limit of 13 tons that has to be crossed before reaching the park. There are no signs to warn you about the weight limit prior to reaching the bridge. So, some of the larger diesel pushers may not want to venture to this park. We stayed at this park for one night, but would have stayed longer if we were not on a schedule. I believe we were the only transients the night we stayed, but there were several sites that appeared to be occupied full-time. We didn't make use of any of the facilities, but I did notice there was a laundry room. There is no on-site manager, so you select your site and pay by putting money in an envelope and dropping it in a slotted box by the laundry room. The highway is close, but we didn't notice any traffic sounds since we had our air conditioners running. If you're just passing through and don't want to unhook your tow vehicle, there are four long pull-through sites with 50 amp service close to the entrance. There are other 50 amp sites as well. The park has both back-ins and pull-throughs. It's a no frills park, was quiet when we were here, but quite pleasant and definitely off the beaten path. Except for a few hundred yards of gravel road just before the entrance, the road leading to the park has been paved. We camped at Winn Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Nice place, has some treed spots, some pull throughs. Paved and level. Be sure to follow directions on web site as that way you will avoid a bridge with 8 foot clearance. Wi-Fi is our only complaint: slow to nonexistent, but it did improve on our last day. Had some problem with the rig, the owner recommended McGaughs in Springdale for repairs. They were very helpful and accommodating. Were here a week and would stay again. We camped at Winn Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

The sites were large and level, each with a grill and picnic table set on a concrete pad. The hookups were convenient and the electric power was good (we require 50 amps for our motor home). The owner doesn’t appear to live onsite, but was readily available and helpful by phone. Note: This park accepts cash or check only deposited into a slot by the laundry room door. The restrooms, showers, and laundry were rustic and not climate controlled. There is a highway overpass close by, but the noise faded into the background quickly. We had originally planned on staying two nights, but enjoyed the relaxing, peaceful setting enough to stay a third. We would definitely go back. We camped at Winn Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Getting to this park from the freeway took some doing, but we felt it was worth it. Tucked along a creek with deer strolling in the park in the evening, it was very relaxing after a long day on the road. The park appeared to be in the process of updating facilities and cabins. The manager was very friendly. It is very rustic. WiFi did not work for us, but we did get some TV stations. We just overnighted, but would stay here again. This park is old and not well kept. The streets and parking sites are rough rock. There are small broken concrete pads next to the parking space. It would have been alright for a single night if we had not deemed the electrical hookups unsafe even if we used our surge protector. The electrical boxes were in disrepair and did not have circuit breakers. Also, the sewer connections did not have caps covering them when not in use. We pulled in and soon left since we didn't want to take a chance on damage to our rig from the electrical box. With the August heat and no shade the air conditioner was going to be a necessity.
